 Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps has another fabulous NEW release today! Be sure to stop by the SCRS blog for more releases and giveaway details! You are going to love this NEW release image of Baseball Oliver

For my card, I was inspired by my little tutor student. He has FCATS (the state standardized test for Florida) next week, and I wanted to pump him up! I thought the new SCRS Baseball Oliver would be a great image to use with my Bella Blvd. Making the Team papers/sentiments. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card-- I think it will make him feel really good about his skills/etc. that he's learned all year.
Close-up of my paper piecing-- LOVE!
I even added a small decorated star for the inside of the card. SO CUTE:)

That's it for me today. Be sure to visit the rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Baseball Oliver. GIVEAWAY alertSparkle will be giving away Baseball Oliver to one lucky person!!! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designers' blogs (list below). Then head on over to the SCRS blog and comment on the Baseball Oliver post. RCC 47- Spring is in the Air {post1}

Hello, friends:}

**Please click HERE or scroll up/down for my Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps challenge post.
**After 12pm EST--Please click HERE for my Whisker Graphics post.
**After 11amEST--Please click HERE for the Sweet Stamp Shop blog hop.

This week, the Ribbon Carousel Challenge is inspired by spring--very appropriate for the upcoming holiday, Easter!!
This week The Ribbon Carousel is sponsoring the Sweet N Sassy Stamps
Sweet N Sassy Stamps is a small, family-owned, Christian company offering exclusive hand-drawn images in both clear and digital stamps to the paper crafting community.
In addition to our "sweet 'n sassy" images and sentiments, we pride ourselves in offering many KJV-only scripture stamps. Our personal conviction is that the KJV Bible is the most accurate and we found the industry really lacking in this area, so we decided to do something about it. God's Word is so important to us and we love sharing it with others in this way!

The prize offered up by Sweet N Sassy Stamps is 3 Digital Stamps of your choice!

I just love this card--totally speaks spring to me--the bee, the colors, the ribbon!!!!!! The papers are from Bella Blvd. The bee stamp is from the Paper Smooches set Giddy Bugs. This ribbon is my ABSOLUTE favorite--available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel. LOVE this card!
The heart is glossy--so it looks weird in the pic!

The RCC team would love for you to join in the fun this week! Here are the details:
  • Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge (sketch, inspiration, style or color) image. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
  • Your creation can be ANYTHING from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings! ***Be sure to have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool) on your creation! And be sure to follow the RCC challenge theme!
  • Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC47) with a direct link back to The RCC blog post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!
  • Come back to The RCC blog post and link in your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up but don't worry it will appear shortly.
  • Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D
This challenge will end on April 9th at 11:59pm EST.

Please head over to The Ribbon Carousel website and check out their products!!! I just love THIS link on their site--it's shows all the NEW items **THIS link gets me in trouble A LOT! I just love my papers and ribbons:)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

**After 12pm noon--Please click HERE for my Whisker Graphics sneak peek--or click HERE to see the whole project.

Congratulations to the Giants for winning the Super Bowl....they did win, right?

I'm super excited to share my creation today--I made it for the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps challenge #72--football theme! I'm not a fan of football, or sports in general, but I looooove my card!  For more information on this challenge, click HERE
Like I said earlier....super bowl??? What? I had to call Travis to see who was playing at the super bowl because I went to "search" the internet and couldn't find the names of the teams! **Ok--another confession....I cannot search the internet! I can never find what I'm looking for! LOL! I used some of my Bella Blvd. sports themed papers and stickers {Making the Team} for this card. I love how they coordinate together! I also used my SCRS Football Josh image--paper pieced the entire thing (including his helmet and shoes!). And of course...my ribbon {black seam binding} came from The Ribbon Carousel. LOVE the final product! GO TEAM! **Notice that I said TEAM--that's because I don't know who to cheer for:)
Close-up of my paper piecing:)

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the SCRS blog for more details and to see the rest of the team's amazing creations!

You have until Sunday, February 12th at 9pm PST to play along with the current challenge {HERE}. All SCRS challenges are open to all players--this week you are playing along to win a Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp!  In order to qualify for a prize, you must use a SC image.

Thanks so much for stopping by--I can't wait to see what you make for this challenge! Be blessed:}

EIC #130 {Artwork by Lori}

Hello, friends:}

I just love love love Saturdays---I love visiting the EIC and checking out our featured stores!! This week we are headed to Artwork by Lori. WOW! Lori has three Etsy stores! You can be inspired by any of her stores: here, here, or here

I created two fun projects. This first one was inspired by this fortune cookie. I needed to make an Easter project for a friend who is in the Air Force. I thought this fun American Crafts paper would work perfectly--since the paper has bunnies and eggs! I put Easter verses on the fortune, and made the take-out box from coordinating paper. Simple! LOVE it! Hope he likes it! **NOTE:: Sorry for the horrible pic! Must take another one in the sunlight!
I also made a card for his mom. They just recently put their dog to sleep. When I saw this print of a cat, I knew what I wanted to make. I used my Unity Bella Blvd. dog with my August 2009 KOTM wing stamps. The clouds are from the Ippity set Sweet Thoughts of Spring. LOVE how this turned out--those feathers are super cute:} **NOTE:: I totally made this while skyping with Ashley!! LOVE IT! Thanks for crafting with me:}
That's it for me today--but don't worry! The EIC DT members have created some pretty amazing creations to share with you today! LOVE IT!

Be sure to stop by the EIC blog for more details. There are 2 winners this week!!! And our sponsor this week is Charleston Scrapbook CompanyRemember to link up your creation by Friday, March 18th at noon Pacific Time

Thanks so much for stopping by! LOVE being inspired at Etsy--gotta love EtsyInspired! Be blessed:}
