FWF {Sept. 3}

Hello, friends and friends with FLAIR!!

What a great day:) I just love Fridays! Trav is off....I get to relax and hang with him....and I get to share my Unity creations with you!! LOVE Unity!!!

This card was created for the FWF40 challenge. I was inspired by the papers [Echo Park], gems, and using Ippity stamps. I just love how this card turned out! I also submitted this for the CARDS challenge [one word sentiments]. It was also featured HERE on the CARDS blog!! HOOORAY! I used Ippity's stamp and cut out each piece to make it more colorful {Ippity's Life Is A Journey}. I also used Unity's butterfly from Life Becoming and the sentiment from Unity's Butterfly Beauty. Just love it! And just a little secret between you and me::: I wasn't sure I was going to like these papers! But...I LOVE them now!
This next card was created just because. I love these Webster's Pages DPs! So pretty! The butterflies are from Unity's Remember Happiness set. **NOTE:: I know--I have been using lots of butterflies lately. I just can't get enough:} I also used Unity's postcard stamp and Ippity's Thoughts From The Past on the lavender paper at the top. You can't really see it because I stamped really lightly. I liked that distressed/light look. The sentiment is from Unity's Life Becoming set. I love when I can combine different stamp sets together:} This card was created for a birthday {which fits the Card of the Week challenge!! I know it isn't a normal sentiment for a birthday--but I created this card for a friend! Can't wait to send it to her:}

This last card was created for the Color Throwdown challenge. The color story is super pretty! I just love love love yellow and kraft (Thanks, Julie C.!!! It's true--now I love it!) I used Ippity's Book It! stamp for the left panel. The flowers with pearls was a stamp from Ippity's Where You Should Be. The little bee is from Unity's Quiet Essence. I used Unity's July KOTM for the sentiment--just LOVE LOVE LOVE how this card turned out:} **NOTE:: I was inspired by a card/sketch created by Teri Anderson. So crafty! I also would like to enter this in the Card of the Week challenge {bday}. I know this isn't a normal birthday card....like I said above...but I made this so that I could send it to someone special [soon] for their birthday!!
That's it for me today! Don't worry--there is more Unity and Ippity flair HERE! Be sure to go to the Unity blog for a complete list of crafty goodness:}

I'll be back tomorrow with an another EtsyInspired challenge. And don't forget:: You have until Saturday, Sept. 4 at midnight to turn in your All Things Unity creations. This challenge is super simple! If you have Unity/Ippity Stamps and you created something {because that is usually your style--what you create}....you can enter it in the challenge!! SIMPLE! LOVE it:} Enter any creations HERE!

Thanks so much for stopping by! And for leaving so much love! I really enjoy reading all the comments and compliments that you leave. The comments definitely cheer me up when I am down! Thank you so much for all your love:} Be blessed!

challenge project

Hello, friends:}

I have a quick project to share with you today. I made it for a friend, Janet S. She wanted something to keep memorized verses in or together. And then I saw the cupcake challenge over at Hope Stamps Eternal, the color challenge over at the Color Throwdown, and this week's challenge at Pals Paper Arts. I knew this project would fit all three!
I used Nina Brackett's Squigglefly image for the butterflies. This image is one that I think I could use on just about any page, card, project. LOVE LOVE LOVE this butterfly. I printed it on transparency and then embossed it. I really wish the baby blue would have shown more--but I made the verse ["I have hidden your word in my heart so that I might not sin against you." Psalm 119:11] and tag too big on the front. Eh. I still like this project a ton! I have a similar index card notebook...only mine is not as pretty!

I am hoping to share more later! I have a Squigglefly challenge I would like to finish. So fingers crossed I have time to finish and share:}

THANKS so much--I am truly blessed by all your love and support! Thank you so much for visiting!
Until next time~
Love, Sav

a couple of cards...

Hello, friends:}

Happy Sunday! I have a couple of cards to share with you today--the first one is for the Color Throw Down challenge. I love it! Our inspiration colors were teal, light blue, orange, and black. I love love love this card! I used Unity's new scrapbooking stamp set, Favorite Things. I also used my newest fav Unity stamp- the ledger. The card is for a male--and I will fill in the birthday on the top date tab. LOVE it!

My second card was created for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger. I loved this chair and the wicker--so I used burlap for the background...and Amy Butter paper for the couch/chair [Unity's Comfy Cozy set]. I used Unity's Spring Unity for the sentiment and stamped it on twill ribbon. I am a bit disappointed that the sentiment was bleeding...so if you have any suggestions on how to stamp on ribbon...LET ME KNOW:} I really like the idea...I'll work on it!
I am hoping to be back later today with some more cards! I have six to share tomorrow! H{ippity} Hop!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Love when we get to visit!
Until next time~
Love, Sav
