EIC #137 {Imagine Studio}

Hello, friends:}

Thanks to all who played along with our last EIC challenge--so many fabulous creations shared! LOVE seeing how everyone gets inspired!!!

This week the EtsyInspired DT is sending you over to Imagine Studio to get inspired! This Etsy store has so many fabulous prints--bold, modern, and beautiful!
The sponsor this week is EAD Designs! WOW! I love EAD! They have so many stickers and vinyl creaitons--LOVE LOVE LOVE them! The EIC DT was lucky enough to get some of these stickers to play with. THANKSEAD!!!

So for my first creation, I was inspired by the bold pink and purples of this photo. I knew that my Stuck On You stickers from EAD would be the perfect match! I made a simple CAS and mini card! I love how the front has a double panel with the jam and peanut! And the inside--a matching sticker! PERFECT:}
Mini card:: 2" x 3 1/2"

I was also inspired by these images.
So I made this woodland themed card with my Woodland Friends EAD stickers. I also used my Unity Love Beyond Measure {ticket} and the Ippity Love in Return {circle} and Sweet Thoughts of Spring {sentiment} stamp sets. I love that Cosmo Cricket paper {Joy Ride}! PERFECT!! I love how this turned out!!!
That's it for this post! But wait--the EIC DT have created some AMAZING creations for you to check out! Head over to their blogs now:)

FWF {july 16}

Hello, friends:}

FIRST of all---I'm sooooooooo excited to share the following news with you::: I was published in the MAY/JUNE issue of FOR THE HOME!! ACK--I about died last December when I got the email! I sent in my candle covers! HOOOOORAY! I was on pages 28-29. The photographer did a FAB job making my covers look so awesome!! I've been waiting a long long time to share that with you!!
***NOTE:: I just received my publication pic from Heather! She is the BEST!! This is what I would have put up for my pic of the candle covers had I posted it....I might be using this publication pic soon!! LOOOOOOVE it!!

SECOND of all--it's FWF!! HOOORAY! I love love love UNITY! So much goodness with this company--the stamps, the peeps, EVERYTHING! I have about five sketched cards to share with you...but I have to make them first! EH--time ran out from me this week! I promise to share them as soon as I finish them:} I did finish one card for today--I made it for the E.A.D. color challenge. I was also inspired by Heather's new blog banner. {If you haven't had a blog makeover yet--go to Heather! She is AMAZING!!}. Her banner and the E.A.D. color story fit perfectly!! I love making scraps into argyle. That is what I did with the top half of this card.
Then I stamped the skull and sentiment [Unity's Treasure To Me stamp set]. Tied a ribbon--and I was done! LOVE it! I really like how it still has that rocker/pirate look with the feminine touch!!

I did make this scrapbook page [I'm on a roll--I think I have over 10 pages now!!].....but I featured it two days ago for the Who's That Girl {Risky Business #5} and All Things Unity {no card} challenges. I am in the process of making another one! I love this new page--it is about our LA trip, and I'm using Unity's Confessions stamp set! Can't wait to share it!!

I also made another card using Unity's new scrapbooking store kit {Key to Joy}. I cannot feature it yet since I'm trying to get it published! Here is a sneak peek... wish me luck!

That is it for me today. Be sure to stop by the Unity blog for a complete list of FWF gals! Lots of creations to inspire you!!

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for another EtsyInspired challenge! I will be using Unity stamps on that project:} LOVE Unity! Be blessed!

FWF {lots of pics}

Hello, friends:} And friends with FLAIR!

I'm super excited to share my creations with you today! This first one is for the Crop Suey #11 [use paint], All Things Unity [make a scrapbook page], Stamp Away With Me [color combo], and Who's That Girl #11 [proud moment] challenges. I have been keeping this guitar page for awhile...I wasn't sure what I wanted to use the DP for (like which project)...but as soon as I sat down to craft, I knew it had to be for this page! I used teal paint and smeared it in one area of the page. Then I splattered it (but most of that is covered up-eh). I used my Unity music background, Naturally you [grid paper], Our Stories tag, and ledger stamps. I really like how this turned out. I also used a new sticker [ruler at the bottom] from the candy that I won over on Ryann's blog--THANKSRyann!!! The ruler is from a Jenni Bowlin sticker sheet. Super cute:} LOOOOVE it!

Journaling:: I'm proud that you are using your gifts from God to bless others. I think you are super talented! Your music (words and notes) touch my heart:} I am proud that you and I get to praise God together! "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150: 6

This next card was created for the FWF29 challenge. I don't have Unity's brave girl set, so I looked at the colors on our inspiration card by Debby [purple, gold] and the lace. I created a fairly simple card. I used my Unity Naturally You stamp set. The hardest part was stamping on the button. I love the effect though! I also glittered the hearts on the snail. I really like the 3D effect each mushroom/flower has. I popped them up with foam, but added lace, string, bows, and glossy accents to them. On the inside of the card, I used a sentiment {Just a bit SLOW.} from the Jan. KOTM by Unity.  I love this card;} **NOTE:: The snail was made for the Scrapbook & Cards Today challege [to make a button critter]. I'm not so sure it fits the description of the challenge...but I tried:}

These next two cards were made for the EAD first color challenge! What a beautiful color combo! I had some gray and plum ink/papers sitting around...so I started to play. This first card was made using Unity's Singing Souls stamps. Simple card to make--stamp images, stamp sentiment on plum paper, cut out, glitter hearts, fill in microphone stand with silver ink. Done. Fun:}
This next card is one of my favs! I love the papers used--esp. that rock paper. I used black twill ribbon and silver gem flourishes! I stamped with my Unity 100% Happy set, as well as the Our Stories set for the little 'me' word. That word came from the word 'memories' in that set--love masking stamps to get different images or words! I glittered the words for extra glitz! Love love love this card:}
This next card was created for the I Want To Ride My Bicycle Challenge In The Moxie Fab World.  Moxie Fab always has great challenges! I used my Unity August 09 and May 10 KOTM stamps for this book cover. I love the paper (American Crafts). If you look close--the red/burgundy color is metallic! And if you look closer the bottom is scored--how CUTE:} I don't know if you remember the books that I've been making (click here to read original post)...but this is for the year 2006. I love it--the "enjoy the ride" was stamped because this is the year Trav and I were married! So the ride would be our lives together. I thought it turned out nice--I've only got two more books to complete, and then we are all caught up!

This last card was created using the PDCC34 challenge colors- black/white with a splash of blue. I did add some gold and red--but I just couldn't leave the angle with a blue or white heart! I also made the angel's wings with transparency (one of my fav things to do!). I finally got the Unity May KOTM {THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, Angela!!!} and wanted to use this card for the challenge. I really like how it turned out!
That's all for me today. But be sure to stop by the Unity blog for a complete list of friends with flair! AND make sure you leave some love...you could win 25 FREE Unity stamps! HOOORAY!

Thanks so much for stopping by--love sharing with you all my Unity creations! LOOOOOOOOOOVE Unity! Be blessed:}
