H{ippity} Hop August 16

Hello, friends! Happy H{ippity} Hop!!

I have been wanting to play with my Ippity stamps for quite some time...and I made two fun cards for the Dog Days of Summer challenge over on the Ippity forum. I unfortunately didn't get one finished in time for  the deadline--ONE HOUR LATE! AHHH! The prize::: Guest DT for Thursday's Hip Hop with Unity/Ippity! GET OUT!! I would die if they asked me!!

Anyway--my first card was created using Ippity's Simply Home stamp set. One of the first sets by Ippity--love love love it! I love that house [which I learned how to highlight from my friend, Heather Rolin]!! I also love that cow!! So FUN!! The challenge was to create something that reminds you of summer. This card was based on our summer activities when I was growing up:: 4H fair!! I loved the fair! **NOTE:: I will admit now that my brother Carrel did all the work on raising the cows and chickens...but I had fun showing them off! Thanks, Carrel:}

This next card was featured on Saturday--but I had to share it again--I just LOOOOOOOOVE it! I loaded it on the SCS forum--thanks for all the "thuds"!! I've never had any of those in my emails--it was fun to read!! I just love that bird from Ippity's Fall For You set! I also used my Bits of Burlap and A Moment in Time sets! I love love love that banner--so fun! It reminds me of summer because we have TONS of birthdays during the summer months!

That's it for me today--but you can head on over to the Ippity blog for a complete list of chicks that played along! FAB creations--I am blown away by all the creativity!! I love Ippity!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back later this week...I've got some cards that I can't wait to share with you!! LOVE it!! Be blessed:}

FWF {july 16}

Hello, friends:}

FIRST of all---I'm sooooooooo excited to share the following news with you::: I was published in the MAY/JUNE issue of FOR THE HOME!! ACK--I about died last December when I got the email! I sent in my candle covers! HOOOOORAY! I was on pages 28-29. The photographer did a FAB job making my covers look so awesome!! I've been waiting a long long time to share that with you!!
***NOTE:: I just received my publication pic from Heather! She is the BEST!! This is what I would have put up for my pic of the candle covers had I posted it....I might be using this publication pic soon!! LOOOOOOVE it!!

SECOND of all--it's FWF!! HOOORAY! I love love love UNITY! So much goodness with this company--the stamps, the peeps, EVERYTHING! I have about five sketched cards to share with you...but I have to make them first! EH--time ran out from me this week! I promise to share them as soon as I finish them:} I did finish one card for today--I made it for the E.A.D. color challenge. I was also inspired by Heather's new blog banner. {If you haven't had a blog makeover yet--go to Heather! She is AMAZING!!}. Her banner and the E.A.D. color story fit perfectly!! I love making scraps into argyle. That is what I did with the top half of this card.
Then I stamped the skull and sentiment [Unity's Treasure To Me stamp set]. Tied a ribbon--and I was done! LOVE it! I really like how it still has that rocker/pirate look with the feminine touch!!

I did make this scrapbook page [I'm on a roll--I think I have over 10 pages now!!].....but I featured it two days ago for the Who's That Girl {Risky Business #5} and All Things Unity {no card} challenges. I am in the process of making another one! I love this new page--it is about our LA trip, and I'm using Unity's Confessions stamp set! Can't wait to share it!!

I also made another card using Unity's new scrapbooking store kit {Key to Joy}. I cannot feature it yet since I'm trying to get it published! Here is a sneak peek... wish me luck!

That is it for me today. Be sure to stop by the Unity blog for a complete list of FWF gals! Lots of creations to inspire you!!

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for another EtsyInspired challenge! I will be using Unity stamps on that project:} LOVE Unity! Be blessed!

H{ippity} Hop

Hello, friends:} Happy H{ippity} Hop day!!

I just have to say again---that I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my new banner and signature! I just love it:) If you have not been by Heather Rolin's blog or new business--Individual Blog Banners....YOU NEED TO GO, NOW! **Well, after you read my post:} Thank youHeather! I love love love it!!

Now on to my creations for the Ippity Hop! Love my new Ippity--but I've been inking up my old sets. Isn't that funny? I buy all the new sets and ink the old! HA! This card was created for my brother, Carrel. He owns his own business, Hoover Construction, and he wanted a card for a client. I love how the houses from Ippity's What Matters Most were stamped in the background--like they are part of a construction plan. Then the one house popped out with the metal tag. I LOVE it! The sentiment is from Unity's Super Sweet and Stuck on you set. I love my Unity/Ippity
This next card is for a cousin of mine who will graduate at the end of this month. I saw these brads in the store and just new I had to make a rainbow with them. I used my Ippity Sweet Thoughts of Spring set for the clouds. The sentiment is controversial--I know I've seen a stamp somewhere in my room with this saying. Can't find it--so I had to print it off....and now I'm wondering if "sky's" is correct. I did a FB question...and my friends seem to say it  is...ever do that? Where you write something and it looks wrong? I do it all [ALL] the time! Either way--this was SIMPLE!

I really do not like taking pics of white cards on white backdrops--I need to figure out how to make it look pretty--this one looks horrible! But my next one looks good...EH! Any help is appreciated:}

This next card was featured yesterday....but I had to feature it again. It is so SIMPLE! And pretty. Scroll down to read more about it! I used my new Ippity stamps!
And I made this flip book for today--but couldn't wait and shared it on Friday last week....scoll down to see more!
 That is it for me--but there are lots more cards and projects to check out on this hop today. Be sure to stop by the Ippity blog for the complete list. LOTS of eye candy for you today!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Love using my Ippity stamps--and sharing with you:} Thanks for all your love and support! Be blessed:}
