Hello, friends:}

Wow--another week has flown by! I am super excited about our challenge this week over at the Play Date Cafe! We have a FABULOUS Guest Designer this week--Mariana Grigsby will join our team and share her talents!! And our sponsor this week is Jelly Bean Designs!! HOOOOOOOOORAY! JBD will be giving one lucky winner a set of Lizzie Anne Designs Little Bits stamps along with 6x6 paper by K &  Co. Super awesome!!
This week's challenge was a photo with several colors and jars/containers. I picked out the yellows, greens, browns, and red. I also used the jar as my inspiration. I found some Lizzie Anne Designs stamps {March KOTM} that incorporated these colors and the jars [the honey pot]. I loooooooooooove this card! It has got to be one of my TOP 5!! LOVE it! I stamped that bottom piece and cut out some extras for the 3D effect. I also paper pieced the tree. Then I masked the sentiment and stamped it three times....LOOOOOOVE IT!
Side view for the 3D effect--and if you look at the bees...I colored them with my gelly roll pens! They are GLAZED! Love it!

Be sure to stop by the other PDCC DT members' blogs...WOW! These cards and creations are AMAZING! All from the same photo:}

Some Nina Brackett goodness...

Hello, friends:}

I'm out in California right now....but I thought that I would share with you a project that I created last week using Nina Brackett's Vintage Background stamp sets.

This first project was created for a friend's co-worker. She has graduated from nursing school. I made the card look like a clipboard by using real cardboard. I used magnets [available at Limelight] to hold the "doctor form" together. The sides are about 1 inch high because inside the card, there is a place for a gift card and a thermometer. How FUN! I used Nina's polka dot stamp on the band-aid. I love love love it! I think this has got to be the most creative "card" I've ever made! Super fun--wish my pics showed up better...but you get the idea.
This next card is a Thanksgiving card. I just love this flocked paper by Me & My Big Ideas. I thought it would go well with Nina's houndstooth stamp and Lizzie Anne Design's KOTM stamps. I love the way the sentiment came out....I loved this card so much...that I made a father's day card as well! Perfect colors! LOOOOOOOOVE it!
Also--note to self::: I have got to get Nina's new stamps- Fine Furnishings! ACK--LOVE these stamps:}

Well...I should be coming back soon! I can't wait to share pics and make a page about how Trav kept our vacation destination a secret! I also can't wait to come back to craft--oh how I miss my studio! Be blessed:}

EIC challenge and fun prayer book

Hello, friends:}

I just love love love the EtsyInspired challenges! This week we were to visit Made by Michelle Brusegaard's Etsy store. Super fun stuff! Lots of inspiration there! I picked this peacock scarf. I made this card for a friend. I love this peacock stamp! All the stamps are from Fiskars. LOVE it! And those feathers...mmmm! And the gems.....double mmmmm! Super cute:}
I also made this prayer journal for my friend. She has a sweet little girl. And when I saw these elephant stamps from Lizzie Anne Designs, I knew I had to use them on this book! LOVE that bow at the top of the sentiment. Too cute!!
Well, that is all for me today. Be sure to scroll down for the Play Date Cafe challenge colors--beautiful! And be sure to stop by tomorrow for my FWF post! I have 5 cards to share with you!! LOVE it:}

FWF and EIC challenge card

Hello, friends...and Unity PEEPS:}

Today is FWF over on the Unity blog--you need to check it out!! Love Unity! And Ippity!

My first card today was created for the FWF24 challenge. Our inspiration piece was created by Elizabeth. Super cute--I really liked her color scheme and the stamps [which were from Unity's April KOTM]. I know the water is supposed to be coming out of the bucket...but I messed up when stamping! I love the handle to this watering can--it is burlap string [that I got from Limelight!!!]. I also was wondering which sentiment I should stamp in the top left corner::: I'm here for you or something else? Once I find out what to put there--I will repost this pic!
This next card was created for a challenge last week, but I was a tad bit late. Still had fun making this card! I used Unity's Sept. 09 KOMT school stamp and paper pieced the image together. LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the colors for this card! I also like how it is circular--I'm really into shaped cards!

These next few mini cards were created for the EtsyInspired challenge. The featured Etsy store is Lindsay Brackeen. Super fun creations over there--I was inspired by all the lettered artwork. I made five different letter mini cards. I am planning on sending the entire alphabet (when completed) to my mom so all my nieces and nephews can look at it! Here is a list of stamps that I used::: Unity-March KOTM, Rain & Flowers, Could I Be Any Cuter?; Ippity- Alphabetically Adorable, Fishy Philosophy, What Matters Most, Simply Home; Lizzie Anne Designs- May KOTM. WOW! I have never mixed so many stamps together!! I love the fish and the kite card--too cute:}

This next mini card was created for Jessica Witty's challenge over on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. I love her idea of using a phone book--why didn't I think of that? EH! I used Unity's Going Retro set. Super fun and cute! Simple too! **NOTE:: This is for my friend who keeps dropping her phone in water! This card has just my number on the inside--that way she won't lose it again!
In case you missed any of the Unity cards that I created this week--just scroll down.

Today we start another awesome color story with the Play Date Cafe! WOW! I am super excited about this color combo--and our Celebrity Guest Designer this week is Heidi Van Laar! Oh my goodness--we have CRAFTINESS in the house! Heidi is fabulous!

This week, Sarah created our color story of light green, dark green, and blue. I instantly thought of...BOY! I know--I've got babies on the brain! I used my Nina Brackett Vintage Background dots on the left side of the card. I also used my Unity Oct. 09 KOTM for the airplane and banner. The sentiment came from Lizzie Anne Designs May KOTM. **NOTE:: This month is a first for 1) CASED cards [I made 2!!!] and 2) mixing stamp sets and companies! LOOOOVE how this card turned out! I love that little burlap string that holds the banner on {available at Limelight}. Great color combo this week!
Be sure to stop by all the other Play Date Cafe DT members' blogs--wow! I saw a sneak peek of their creations...AMAZING! Super pretty! And all are different:}
