Hello, friends:}
Thanks to all of you who played along with us for The Play Date Cafe #43 challenge! I cannot believe all the creations---you INSPIRE me!!
This week's challenge is super fun. We have a returning Guest Designer--Elise Durenberger from MAMACOW Creations...LOVE it! She is super sweet and uber talented! Our sponsor for this week is Memory Box! Gotta love these stamps! Be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for more deets on the challenge deadlines and prize!!
This week's challenge was brought to you by Sarah--she calls it the Horribilus Color challenge. The colors we are featuring are navy, mustard, and hot pink. YES, they really do go together nicely! While your creating with this weeks colors we'd love you to think about what colors you think don't go together, feel free to leave these colors as comments here on my blog, but remember to use Navy, Hot Pink and Mustard when you link in at the PDCC.
For my card, I wanted something simple but stylish. I was inspired by one of Jessica Witty's 10 minute ribbon card....this was after 2 hours of trying something fancy elegant (which is not my style--I'm more fun/cute). I wanted to add fabric in the mix too--so that ribbon became a fabric sash. I wrapped it around the card front and pleated it, then top stitched. FUN! These colors really do go well together!!
Don't fret if you are not sure what you could make with these colors--check out the other PDCC DT members' blogs--THEY will def. inspire you today! These projects match the challenge colors perfectly!!
And now for some sad news....our wonderful DT Stephanie Kraft will be leaving us! This is her last challenge as a DT! We are so thankful for all of her support and love and BEAUTIFUL creations! Stephanie blessed us with her talents every week during her term! I'm sad to see her leave...but the good news is that she isn't saying GOODBYE! She is my friend, our friend, and always will be:} So make sure you head over to her blog and leave her some special love!! THANKS, Stephanie!!
Don't forget to head over to the PDCC blog for deets on this challenge::: ends on Tuesday, August 31 at 11:59pm. Cannot wait to see what you create.
I'll be back tomorrow with some more creations! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
Hello, friends;}
Happy H{ippity} Hop day! Gotta love my Ippity stamps! And yesterday my rainbow card was featured on their blog! HOOOORAY!!!
Today, I only have one card to share. I had a very busy weekend of relaxing:} I really can't wait to get back into the studio and ink up my new Ippity stamps!!
My card today was created using Ippity's What Matter's Most set, as well as my new Snippity of Ippity set. I used a random paper from the telephone book for Jessica Witty's challenge. I love the DP--just some DCWV paper I got the other day on clearance. The butterfly is from Unity's April KOTM. I made this card for a very special somebody....but I can't tell you who!! This is a secret I've got to keep:}
Be sure to stop by the Ippity blog for a complete list of blogs to hop to--there are some amazing creations posted today! OHHH--I just love Ippity!

Hello, friends...and Unity PEEPS:}
Today is FWF over on the Unity blog--you need to check it out!! Love Unity! And Ippity!
My first card today was created for the FWF24 challenge. Our inspiration piece was created by Elizabeth. Super cute--I really liked her color scheme and the stamps [which were from Unity's April KOTM]. I know the water is supposed to be coming out of the bucket...but I messed up when stamping! I love the handle to this watering can--it is burlap string [that I got from Limelight!!!]. I also was wondering which sentiment I should stamp in the top left corner::: I'm here for you or something else? Once I find out what to put there--I will repost this pic!
This next card was created for a challenge last week, but I was a tad bit late. Still had fun making this card! I used Unity's Sept. 09 KOMT school stamp and paper pieced the image together. LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the colors for this card! I also like how it is circular--I'm really into shaped cards!
These next few mini cards were created for the EtsyInspired challenge. The featured Etsy store is Lindsay Brackeen. Super fun creations over there--I was inspired by all the lettered artwork. I made five different letter mini cards. I am planning on sending the entire alphabet (when completed) to my mom so all my nieces and nephews can look at it! Here is a list of stamps that I used::: Unity-March KOTM, Rain & Flowers, Could I Be Any Cuter?; Ippity- Alphabetically Adorable, Fishy Philosophy, What Matters Most, Simply Home; Lizzie Anne Designs- May KOTM. WOW! I have never mixed so many stamps together!! I love the fish and the kite card--too cute:}
This next mini card was created for Jessica Witty's challenge over on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. I love her idea of using a phone book--why didn't I think of that? EH! I used Unity's Going Retro set. Super fun and cute! Simple too! **NOTE:: This is for my friend who keeps dropping her phone in water! This card has just my number on the inside--that way she won't lose it again!
In case you missed any of the Unity cards that I created this week--just scroll down.
Moxie Fab challenge- Chocolate Covered Chair-E That is it for me today--thanks so much for stopping by! Love when we visit! Be sure to stop by Unity's blog for a complete list of FWF blogs to check out!! So much eye candy on these blogs--I'm always blown away by all the creations!
