ATU #37 Going Old School

Hello, friends:}

I apologize for not getting this post up on time! I normally am very organized--but this past week was SUPER busy and filled with celebrating. Time got away from me!
I am super excited about this new challenge theme over at ATU--we are going OLD SCHOOL/VINTAGE! Our sponsor for the month of August is Martha - you might know her from the blog Creating is FUN! She is a fabulous friend and talented crafter. Be sure to check out her post HERE.

I created this card a couple of weeks ago (before I got my goodies from Martha). I actually CASED myself! I made a card similar for Erin's birthday--and I just loved the vintage feel and the papers....so I made a birthday card for my nephew Kannon. I used Unity's bike from It's A Good Day. TOO cute:)
To help you get started, you should check out what the ATU DT gals made--this will def. get you inspired. We also have some amazing Guest DT with us this month::: Lee MurphyJenMarie, and Martha Pineda Soooo fabulous! Be sure to leave some love for all our gals:}

Head on over to the All Things Unity blog for more details too--remember to link up during the month of August and you could win our monthly prize from Martha- PaperLove!!! Can't wait to see what you make:)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed!!!

EIC #135 {Creating Is Fun}

Hello, friends:}

HOOORAY for another fabulous EtsyInspired challenge! We get to visit an Etsy shop that is owned by a good friend of mine, Martha! We are headed over to Creating Is Fun this week. LOVE it! Love all the laces and the buttons...and Martha even has some tags and tag albums for sale over at Creating Is Fun! Awesome!! **ETA:Martha is having a 50% off coupon for our players, friends, and followers!! Enter "FRI50" at checkout!
Our sponsor this week at EIC is Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps. Super cute digital images and paper! And Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps is having a 30% off sale right now! You should def. head over there [after reading my post!].

I was inspired by the following in Martha's store, Creating Is Fun:::

I was inspired by the color story, the baby theme, and the vintage feel of the lace.

I used my Webster's Pages (Back to School, Wonderfall, Hollywood Vogue, and Stardom on Film) papers to make this vintage baby card. I love how it turned out. I used my Unity Sweet Lullaby Collection - Baby O' Mine stamp set for the Humpty Dumpty (paper pieced--SOOOO HARD) and the script. I also used my Unity Capture Life set and my Unity postcard stamp. LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out! I'm not vintage--but I'm feeling like this might be a vintage card??? Maybe more shabby? No...either way--I love it:}

That's it for me today! But wait--the EIC DT have created some AMAZING creations for you to check out! Head over to their blogs now:)

De {out sick--please leave her some love and get well wishes}
