Halloween

Hello, friends:}

This will be a quick post because I am literally down to the wire on a deadline for this creation! LOL! I am really getting behind in my duties!

I created this simple card for the Wee Memories challenge {halloween themed}--it's been FOREVER since I played with them! I love their sponsor this week--Paper Smooches! So I decided to use my Paper Smooches Alphadots and Falling For You sets for this halloween themed card. I love the simplicity. And I LOVE my alphas--I just couldn't help but use these foam letters along with the stamped sentiment.
That's it for me today! THANKS so much for visiting--be blessed:}

FWF Jan. 21--lots of challenges!!

Hello, friends:}

First of all--happy happy FRIDAY! It's FWF over on the Unity blog! Be sure to stop there for a complete list of participants! And check out this flyer from Unity! Oh how I wish wish wish I was rich--I would order each of the new sets!

Second--WOW! I cannot remember a week that I was able to craft like I did this week! I was sewing and gluing and just LOVIN' it!! Here is what I created!

This first card was created for the CARDS {butterflies}, Wee Memories {ribbon}, CR84FN {color story}, FWF60 {inspiration card by Cathy} challenges, as well as the Paper Crafts Jan. challenge {v-day}. That's a lot of challenges! I never thought this one little card would fit--but it does!! LOOOOOOOOVE that ribbon [available at Limelight]. LOVE those ruffles. I used my Unity butterfly [Remember Happiness] and sentiment [When I'm With You] stamps. I also used my Ippity music [Music of my Heart] for the corner circle. LOVE how this turned out!
This next card was also created for the  Wee Memories challenge. I also am entering it for the Cupcake Inspirations challenge {photo}. I have to admit--I had this card designed and made last week....but I didn't like the paper I used...then I saw Emily {Unity GDT} and her pair of shoes [photo to the right]...ACK! Great minds think alike! However, I only had one and no gem in the center of the glitter...so I am CASING that idea! LOVE how her shoes look! These high heels are from Unity's To The Moon and Back set. LOVE it! And you might remember...that zebra print is actually tissue paper:} LOVE IT!
Sentiment::: High heels were invented by a woman who had been kissed on the forehead. Christopher Morley

This card is so cute! LOVE all the layers--I try to be more detailed...and sometimes it works! This card is being entered into the CardPatterns 98 challenge. I love this paper [available at Paper Maniac]! I wanted a masculine card--that could be birthday, love, have a great day...for almost any occasion. LOVE how this turned out! I used the Unity 6 pack essentials for the owl along with Unity's What A Hoot! set for the sentiment.
**NOTE:: I wanted to be a bit different--and I used staples instead of gems for the top corner. I really like how it turned out! REALLY!
 My last card was created for iheartart's {sketch} and All Things Unity {mini card} challenges. I love this paper! And this stamp set [Unity Heart Times]. LOVE IT! simple!  This mini is only 3 x 3 inches! Don't forget to play along with us--click HERE to link up!
**NOTE:: Again, I tried to be different. The three gems turned into three words. LOVE it:}

That's it for me! Be sure to stop by the Unity blog for more players in FWF! LOVE LOVE LOVE looking and hopping on these blogs! So much eye candy:} And be sure to leave some love--you could win FREE Unity

Thanks so much for stopping by! LOVE visiting with you! Be blessed:}

FWF {Christmas Eve style}

Hello, friends:}

What a special day for FWF over at Unity--Christmas Eve FWF! Fun:} Don't forget to head over to the Unity blog for a complete list of FWF friends and click HERE for some amazing deals going on at Unity! I've already drooled over the sales! Hope that some of these stamp sets are in my stocking this year!!

My first card was created for the FWF56 challenge. Our inspiration was Angie's winter themed card. So I created a holiday themed card too! This card is perfect for the Wee Memories {photo- holiday colors} and the ColorQ # 64. I love how this snowman turned out. He is from my Unity Dec. 2010 KOTM, along with that tag. I actually inked that tag up on the edges to make the center clear for the sentiment [Nov. 2010 KOTM]. LOVE that glitter on the snowman! SO cute! And his hat and heart were made with red flocking! SO SO SO cute!

This next card was created using Mona's color challenge. Love bright pink with gray! Super clever combo! I also love love love this dress form from my Unity Uniquely You set. I also used my spool from Unity's Material Girl set. The tag is from Ippity's A Moment in Time. Sooooooo cute! Simple and gorgeous--check out the glitter on the dress! Love it!!
My last card was created for the CardPatterns 95 challenge. I wanted to be a bit different, so I used my numbers from Unity's Learning {year by year} set. The bigger 4 and the cupcakes are from Unity's 6 pack essentials. The sentiment (one of my FAVS!) is from the July 2010 KOTM. Super fun! I am actually giving this to my little niece, Kadence, next year for her 4th birthday! I think she will LOVE it!
That's it for me today...well...actually, it's not! I have one more project over at All Things Unity! It's super cute! Head over there now--because it's the next stop on this blog hop!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me some love! I appreciate your love and support! I have the best followers:} Merry CHRISTmas!! Be blessed!

Hello, friends:}
I was looking at some deadlines--and I totally forgot to post this! I made this tag for the Wee Memories and Everything But The Kitchen Sink {textures} challenges. The Wee Memories challenge was to be inspired by a holiday song. I loooooove CHRISTmas. I love singing about Jesus, and I was inspired by several songs:::

O Come O Come Emmanuel

Oh my--these songs just get me all excited about Jesus--and just the thought of Mary giving birth to her (our) savior! OH MY! LOVE my JESUS:} So I created this tag...this is a stamp from Unity. I love that hay texture with the gold floss {EBTKS texture challenge}. The papers are from Webster's Pages.

Thanks for looking...God is GOOD:} Be blessed!

EIC #115 {Queen of Tarts Cakes}

Hello, friends:}

I am sooooooo glad to be back for another EtsyInspired challenge!! I was super excited about our featured store this week--Queen of Tarts Cakes! They make cookies!! I love love love these sugar cookies {MMM}! And our sponsor this week is InchieArts. They sent the EtsyInspired DT some goodie bags to play with!

My first creation is a thankful mini book. I was inspired by this batch of thanksgiving decorated cookies. I used two of the inchies {matteboard} for the covers. I covered the front/back with some DCWV fall patterned papers and filled the inside with coordinating cardstock. Super cute--and I used my Unity Oct. 10 KOTM for the pumpkin and sentiment! LOVE IT!
I made this next card with inchies as well! I was inspired by these super cute winter cookies. They look good enough to eat:} I covered them with solid cardstock and stamped the Ippity snowflake [Season of Joy] all over them. I also used Unity's Nov. 10 KOTM for the sentiment. I just couldn't help but flock those mittens to make them look like they were made from wool. LOVE IT! And it's a mini card--so fun and quick to make:}

The last card I created was was inspired by these party cookies for a one year old. It reminded me that my little niece, Alli, will be turning one at the end of this month! So I made this shaped card just for her. I also created it for the Wee Memories challenge {patterned paper}. I love that flocked bunny! SO CUTE! I used Unity's bunny and sentiments [Sentiments O' Simple]. I know she will love this card--it's totally HER!
And here is the same card with natural lighting--maybe you can see the flocking better...?
That's it for me today! But don't worry--there are SOOOO MANY fabulous creations on the EtsyInspired DT members' blogs! You have got to stop by and leave them some love!
Angie Blom {October Guest DT}

FWF {Oct. 1}

Hello, friends:} Happy FWF day!!

I just love using my Unity stamps--and this first card was one of my favorite cards that I created this week! I just love this typewriter from Unity's Nov. 09 KOTM. I just love love love it--I've used it several times!! I also used Unity's Love Bug [the XOXO stamp] and the heart from Our Stories, Our Lives. The sentiment is from Unity's Dec. 09 KOTM. LOOOOOOVE it! This was created for the FWF44 challenge and inspired by this card to the right.

Love this next card too--I created it with the Hip Hop challenge sketch from last week. I kind of got carried away though...I put lots of layers and layers and then it wasn't as simple as I thought it was supposed to be for the challenge {plus, when I went to enter it--I was 4 minutes late! AH! LOL!}. I used Unity's Remember Happiness set for the sentiment. I also used the bird from Life Becoming. The four papers behind the circle (or stamp chipboard) would be the envelope top, tickets, twill, and then this red paper with the air mail sticker on the bottom. I really liked this sketch...and this card. I really like how it turned out. Now who to send it to?!!!

This next card was also inspired by the same sketch. I was also inspired by Wee Memories' challenge to use tags ...however, I'm not sure this fits [it's not as CAS as I wanted it to be]--but I'm still entering it:} I just love this set of Webster's Pages. I used Unity's Life Becoming for the sentiment and bird. LOVE how this turned out. I NEVER use rub-ons...and that purple frame was perfect for this card! LOVE IT!

My last card was created for the CARDS {leaves}, Skipping Stones {sketch}, Simon Says {autumn photo and colors}, and WT290 {banners} challenges. I love love love these leaves from Ippity's Fall For You set. I layered them and stitched the veins. The sentiment is from Unity's Harvest Of Memories. LOVE that burlap ribbon on the bottom! SO FUN!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by Unity's blog for a complete list of friends playing along with flair!! And be sure to leave some love--you could win FREE UNITY stamps;}
