Ribbon Carousel #86 and Reverse Confetti

Hello, friends:}
Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! The prize::: a ribbon carousel!!!!!! This month's theme/challenge--- Fall and Halloween

Fall here in Florida isn't any different- we don't have the color changes or cooler weather (we have cooler weather... but not like up north).

Since I'm not really inspired by Fall right now, I decided to make ANOTHER Halloween card! I know!!! Another halloween card??? Just an FYI: that doesn't make me a fan yet! LOL!

I decided to use some of my new Reverse Confetti stamp sets for this card. I saw a picture of a pumpkin witch on Pinterest and knew instantly I had to use that for my inspiration! I used the RC Spooky Cuties, Spooky Sentiments, and Lighthearted Letters for my card- I fussy cut and masked several images for my design! LOVE! The papers are from Becky Higgins Midnight Edition (PL) pad. I added a bit of Whisker Graphics Green Apple divine twine to the witch's hat... LOVE LOVE LOVE! Super fun card!

Paper Smooches SPARKS October Designer Drafts challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The second week of the month is always a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following sketch:
OctoberDD
Well.... this might be a first (again!)!! I think I broke my trend of 90% following the sketch! I think this one is about 99%!!!!! I'm kind of blown away! LOL!

I created this card for my friend, Alicia-- she works at Starbucks and loves coffee, tea, and random drinks like that (no joke- she has a cup in her hand ALWAYS)... and today is her birthday! HAPPPPPPPY birthday, Alicia!!! **NOTE: I'm not even sure that this sentiment is appropriate for a birthday or a tea lover... but I liked it and it fit the card:)

PSSOctDD5This was a fairly simple card- it came together nicely! I used some Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic papers with only 2  Paper Smooches stamp sets! 2!!!!!!!!! I know- another shocker! LOL! I used PS Cyber Cafe for everything on the front and then... get ready... another shocker.... I stamped on the inside using a sentiment from the PS Digits set! **I'm full of craziness and shocks today! LOL!  Love how this turned out- super fun and fresh! Perfect for Alicia:) Just hope she likes it!

Paper Smooches SPARKS October Trend Watch challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!!

The first week of the month is always a TRENDS WATCH challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following photo:
I was worried that I didn't have any "lace" for this project and wanted to go shopping... but upon further inspection of my "craft store" in my closet (see THIS video for more info), I found two beautiful lace ribbons! HOOOOOOORAY that I actually had lace.... BOOOOOOOOOO to not being able to go shopping:)

I needed a birthday card for Trav's Gran, so I matched up some of these lace ribbons with my new 6x6 Pebbles Walnut Grove papers. LOOOOOVE how this turned out! I actually followed an OLD Paper Smooches sketch for this card. I used a pretty sentiment from the Paper Smooches Salutations set and then embossed the silhouette image from Pretty Momma on some corkboard. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Hello, friends:}

**Please click HERE or HERE for my Virtual Smooches video!
Today is Confetti Camera day over on the Reverse Confetti blog. Every Thursday, the spotlight shines on one of the Confetti Crew designers and offers a glimpse into their creative process through a series of interview questions about themselves and their project created just for that day.

Today is my day!!!!! And I've got a special treat for you!

So I answer those questions in this video (and be prepared to find out that I'm not THAT FANCY! You might be shocked at my techniques/technology set-up/etc.!)!!! **You might also have to turn your volume down- sorry for being SO LOUD!

In Video #2 I share how to create some simple and fun Halloween tags using the RC Spooky Cuties and Spooky Sentiments stamp sets. You will find out another "Savannah Truth" in this video! LOL!

A Special Birthday

Hello, friends:} ***giveaway details below

Today I have a special post.... I'm celebrating the first birthday with Fresh Squeezed Stamps!!!

I really enjoyed working with Ryann and Shannon a year ago (first on the Paper Made Bakery team and then I was a guest designer for FSS). And it's an honor to join in the fun with their team as they celebrate this birthday!!!

I created a super fun birthday card using two of the first FSS stamp sets: The Sweet Life and Subway Series: Holidays. I used some of my FAV Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go papers for this card, and I also used my FAV technique of masking to create that sentiment. I have to say-- that sentiment was SUPER difficult to mask and create... but TOTALLY worth it! LOVE it!
Happy Bird Day (FSS birthday post)
This is for a friend's mom- she turned 81 on Sept. 28th! Happy birthday, Pat!!!!!
Happy Bird Day (FSS birthday post)
That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog for more inspiration and giveaway details! There are daily giveaways (ending daily at 11:59pm EST), as well as MORE birthday cards from the FSS DT and special guests. Halloween Treat Bag with Whisker Graphics/Reverse Confetti

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can also read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

***Act surprised when you read the next sentence....

For my project today, I dressed up a WG bitty bags!!!!!! These bitty bags work perfectly for Halloween (well, they are perfect for just about ANYTHING!)!!! I love this simple bag design!

This is so simple- all I used were some scrap cardstock pieces to make the witch's legs and shoes! The shoes are from THIS SVG file. LOVE! I added some interest to the witch's leggings by stamping a star image from the Reverse Confetti Inner Rock Star set using Versamark ink. Then to make it pop, I added Perfect Pearls (Super Copper- for a tone on tone look)! LOVE x2! The sentiment is from the RC Spooky Sentiments. And the bat is from the RC Spooky Cuties! To finish the bag (after putting some candies inside) I tied some WG Black Licorice and Orange divine twine together at the top and stapled the sentiment in place. LOVE x1000000!
Got Candy?
I would make more of these bags for Halloween... but we don't even get one Trick-or-Treater! LOL! I guess Trav will get this goodie bag:)
Got Candy?
I tried to make this photo a bit brighter so you could see the Perfect Pearls better-- so fun adding this little shimmer!

That's it for me today! And be sure to stop by the WG blog for more inspiration. Also-- did you know about Whisker Graphics's new products??? Check it out HERE! There is CORAL divine twine! OH MY! Must get a spool of that! LOVE!

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}
