PDCC38

Hello, friends:}

What an exciting day!! We have a brand new color challenge over at the Play Date Cafe-with some great news from last week!!! We had over 100 players!! WOW! Thanks so much for all your wonderful creations! I wish that all of you could win!!
Our wonderful sponsor this week is Artistic Outpost!! They heard about the PDCC from their DT coordinator, Lisa Somerville!! She always brings fun ideas on a daily basis!! AO is amazed at what participants create and the color combinations are both creatively challenging as well as "attainable". Artistic Outpost is excited to give this week's challenge randomly selected winner a $14 gift certificate to their store to be used to purchase any of their unmounted stamp plates! WOW--what a prize:}

This week our color story is dark purple, lilac, and green. What beautiful colors! I used my Artistic Outpost stamp set Birds of a Feather. Of course I would pick birds as my stamp for this week's color story!! I had several papers that I stamped on--that green section is my FAV! Love those little eggs. I also like the nest--with the feather--LOVE LOVE LOVE it:} I colored that twill too--it was my first time! I used my Tattered Angels purple spray. It was messy, but it turned out pretty! It shimmers--which you can't see in the pic.
That's all for me today--but be sure to stop by all the other PDCC DT members' blogs....and the Artistic Outpost DT members are also playing along!! Be sure to stop by their blogs as well!!

Savannah O'Gwynn {that's me!}

Head on over to the PDCC blog for more deets on this challenge. This color story will end on Tuesday, July 20th at 11:59pm! Good luck--I CANNOT wait to see what you create and how many players we will have this week:}

Thanks so much for stopping by! Love sharing with you the PDCC challenges--be blessed:}

So lovely, Sav! Love how you incorporated so many images onto one card.. the nest and feathers are so sweet together!! Fab dyed twill, too (I always spray mine inside a ziploc bag, but I've misted many areas of my craft room :) )!!
