PDCC44

Hello, friends:}

Thanks to all of you who played along with us for The Play Date Cafe #43 challenge! I cannot believe all the creations---you INSPIRE me!!

This week's challenge is super fun. We have a returning Guest Designer--Elise Durenberger from MAMACOW Creations...LOVE it! She is super sweet and uber talented! Our sponsor for this week is Memory Box! Gotta love these stamps! Be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for more deets on the challenge deadlines and prize!!

This week's challenge was brought to you by Sarah--she calls it the Horribilus Color challenge. The colors we are featuring are navy, mustard, and hot pink.  YES, they really do go together nicely! While your creating with this weeks colors we'd love you to think about what colors you think don't go together, feel free to leave these colors as comments here on my blog, but remember to use Navy, Hot Pink and Mustard when you link in at the PDCC.

For my card, I wanted something simple but stylish. I was inspired by one of Jessica Witty's 10 minute ribbon card....this was after 2 hours of trying something fancy elegant (which is not my style--I'm more fun/cute). I wanted to add fabric in the mix too--so that ribbon became a fabric sash. I wrapped it around the card front and pleated it, then top stitched. FUN! These colors really do go well together!!
Don't fret if you are not sure what you could make with these colors--check out the other PDCC DT members' blogs--THEY will def. inspire you today! These projects match the challenge colors perfectly!!

Savannah O'Gwynn {that's me!}

And now for some sad news....our wonderful DT Stephanie Kraft will be leaving us! This is her last challenge as a DT! We are so thankful for all of her support and love and BEAUTIFUL creations! Stephanie blessed us with her talents every week during her term! I'm sad to see her leave...but the good news is that she isn't saying GOODBYE! She is my friend, our friend, and always will be:} So make sure you head over to her blog and leave her some special love!! THANKSStephanie!!

Don't forget to head over to the PDCC blog for deets on this challenge::: ends on Tuesday, August 31 at 11:59pm. Cannot wait to see what you create.

I'll be back tomorrow with some more creations! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
