Hello, friends:}
**Thanks for looking today--especially if you've already seen this on the Momenta blog:) HUGS!
I had a couple of things on my desk... a card pack {gift card size}, the Momenta super paper pad, and some Momenta gems, stickers, and letters. I made myself a challenge: to create at least five different cards {boy/girl/different categories} using these supplies!
I started with a simple "Thinking of You" card using the Momenta super paper pad, twine from Whisker Graphics, glitter, and a vellum sticker sentiment. SO EASY!
**You can't see it, but there is clear glitter on the word FRIEND--also this is not the greatest photo of this card! It's sooooooo pretty in person!
Size: 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Instructions:
1. Cut patterned paper and embossed paper and adhere to card base.
2. Add vellum sentiment {cutting off part of the sentiment so it fits on card base}.
3. Thread twine through small slit in card crease and close with a bow.
4. Add glitter to the word FRIEND.
Then I created another friendship card. This is for the category of "Friend/Hello". Again, I used the same Momenta super paper pad along with some Momenta gems and a rub-on. EASY x2!!!!!!!!
Size: 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Instructions:
1. Cut patterned paper adhere to card base.
2. Create a small panel of different patterned papers. Adhere to right side of card.
3. Cut out extra flowers and add to matching piece using foam dots.
4. Add color coordinating gems to flower centers.
5. Apply rub-on sentiment.
Next up--the "Birthday" category. I wanted to make two cards for this category [I wanted to make a masculine/boy birthday card, as well as a belated birthday card--since I'm always running behind on sending cards out!]. These cards were SUPER simple!
Size: 2 1/2" x 2 3/4"
Instructions:
1. Cut patterned paper and adhere to card base.
2. Punch two circles from patterned paper and embossed cardstock. Stack on top of one another and adhere to left side of card--cutting off excess.
3. Add foam dots to back of robot sticker (using baby powder to "unstick" the sticker back). Add to middle of card.
4. Add other stickers and alphabet sentiment.
Size: 2 3/4" square
Instructions:
1. Cut embossed cardstock and adhere to card base.
2. Cut out white/red stripe from patterned paper and adhere to card.
3. Add cameras and alphabet stickers.
For my last card, I went really detailed and started stamping and fussy cutting. I used the SAME Momenta super paper pad along with a very small scrap paper piece from the Momenta Cuddle & Coo pyramid pad for the giraffe {Paper Smooches Zoo Crew and Forest Whimsy stamp sets}. Even though this card is really detailed, it was SUPER EASY! LOVE it!
Size: 2 3/4" square
Instructions:
1. Cut cardstock and adhere to card base.
2. Die cut scalloped square and attach to card.
3. Stamp sentiment and images. Paper piece each image and adhere to card using foam dots.
4. Add gems (and white/black enamel to animal eyes).
I hope that you will look at your scraps and desk supplies and challenge yourself to create a set of cards! I had a great time--and def. plan on making more sets in the future:) **NOTE:: I love that this Momenta super paper pad was so versatile! I created several girly/friendship cards, but I was also able to make two masculine colored/themed cards! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
