2026: A Catch Father's Day Card [Card #163]

Hello, friends!
I'm back to share a fun pop-up card design using the NEWEST Pink & Main A Catch Pop-Up Card dies--- this is a great masculine card design that could be used for the outdoors man and ANY occasion!
I decided to go with a green background and water to make the fish colors pop. I really wanted to make a "stripper" type fish... but since I don't know much about fish, this design works for me! LOL!

This is Trav's Step-Dad's Father's Day card this year. My Dad??? Well... I have an idea for his card but it will be late due to my illness🤦🏼‍♀️

That's it for me today.

2026: Custom Birthday Card [card #76]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I was recently asked to make a custom birthday card for my neighbor's son. She gave a few things that might inspire me: a sport's team/colors, blue crabs, boating, green/blue, and fishing.

After discussing with her my ideas and what I could do using my supplies... we landed on a fishing theme. She then sent me a photo of her son fishing (one where he had just caught a catfish), and I knew we chose the right theme!
The best part about this card is that my mom helped me create it! This card was due while she was visiting so I pulled her into my studio to help get inky, die cut, and kind of be my sous chef/crafter! Hopefully she had fun making this with me;)

That's it for me today.

THANKS so much for stopping by! MORE to come 💌

Be blessed ❤️

Paper Smooches SPARKS: May Designer Drafts

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week we are sharing a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following sketch:
**Sentiments can be placed anywhere on the sketch.

Ok---so I think I did a fair job with this sketch! I went vertical... made the circle more of a small accent (speech bubble)... eh! Just when I think I'm doing "well" with sketches-- that's when I go off and do my own thing in Savannahland! LOL!
I created this Thank You card for my favorite trainer EVER! Yesterday was his last day at my gym, and I wanted to let him know how thankful I am for all of his encouragement and training. I am excited for his new adventures... and hopefully I will see him again soon:)

I used several PS dies including the Retro Arrow, Word Bubbles, and Quote Tag. I stamped the sentiments (which can be placed anywhere on the sketch--- PERFECT! Again, I went vertical!) from the PS Many Thanks set. I think this card turned out great! LOVE LOVE LOVE
You can't see it but I used both black and Espresso Truffle (gray) inks for this card- LOVE

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends May 30th. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

That's right--you get to create ANYTHING you want (as long as you use Paper Smooches stamps)!! This is the BEST challenge ever!!!

I absolutely looooooooove this card-- like my last PSS Anything Goes creation... I was inspired by Trav! I think he is super awesome! I love these papers from the Crate Paper Acorn Avenue line. LOVE! I also love these images from the Paper Smooches Off the Charts and Chart Toppers sets. LOVE x2! And I loooooooooove this soft stamping on vellum- I actually stamped the male symbol on the back of the vellum several times to make it soft yet still visible. I also used the PS Ovals1 medium oval. LOVE x100000000!
