I have had a few ideas running through my mind as I prepared for this month's release. The flower images and designs are perfect for Mother's Day cards, friendship and thinking of you cards, and sympathy cards. Unfortunately, I've needed more sympathy cards this month. Good news- this card design can be mass produced quickly, as well as embellished where there are mistakes easily:)
The NEW Stemmed Roses dies set comes with three different rose and vase images. Each image could be used in the same way for this card design. I have embossed die cut images using the metal die before {click HERE for a video tutorial}, but this is the first time I dry embossed and embossed the same image all at once (a technique called Embossed Impressions by Jennifer McGuire). Clean and simple.
I will admit that I made some mistakes while creating a set of these cards 🙃 To cover up my crooked embossed image or extra embossing powder that I missed, I added black thread and gold sequins. Still a clean and simple card.

Be sure to stop by the PS blog for details about this blog hop and giveaway! And don't forget to leave some love along the hop:)

That's it for me today- THANK YOU so much for stopping by! Be blessed ❤️

Paper Smooches: March 2019 BIRTHDAY challenge #1

Hello, friends:}

I'm sharing my first Paper Smooches March 2019 BIRTHDAY challenge creation today. EVERY DAY it's someone's birthday- that's why I need to build up my stash 😉 I already have missed 5 birthdays this month. 🤦🏼‍♀️  Photo Credit: Brooke Lark

I needed something quick this week (so I didn't miss ANOTHER birthday), so I found a clean and simple card by Julie Ebersole (October 2017) that I could CASE. Her style is simple, fabulous, and always leaves me inspired!

I started with an all gray background and dry embossed the polka dots.... but it just was too dark, like no one would want to celebrate after seeing that card! LOL! So I went with a white background, dry embossed the polka dots and layered on the accent embellishment and sentiment. EASY:)
I  used the following PS stamps/dies: Birthday BashPolka Dot Borders dies, and Feather Frame die

That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a gift certificate to the PS store! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and play along:)

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Friends- I cannnnnnnnnnot pick which creation to share this month for the blog hop! I love each and every one of my cards... funny that all of them have the same color palette yet so very different!

Since I can only share one, I will share Trav's FAVORITE from this month's set. He calls this card "Fancy Fish". 🙃
The NEW Water dies set comes with lots of different waves, as well as splashes and a fish image. This card design is fairly simple- embossed waves with multicolored fish swimming in a pale pink ocean. I went with a pink ocean because I thought it would be unique and fun.
I really wanted to put a sentiment on the front. I still might add "Can't wait to SEA you again." from the PS Summer Sampler set!

Be sure to stop by the PS blog for details about this blog hop and giveaway! And don't forget to leave some love along the hop:)

Paper Smooches: February 2019 HEARTS challenge #3

Hello, friends:}

I'm sharing another Paper Smooches February 2019 HEARTS challenge creation today. This challenge is almost as easy as the Anything Goes challenge because all PS wants to see are HEARTS- use one heart, use multiple hearts, or heart pattered paper. It doesn't matter as long as you there is a heart somewhere on your creation ❤️ Photo Credit: Daria Shevtsova
I was asked to create a special card for my friend's mom and dad because their anniversary is on Valentine's day. There are not very many cards that have both sentiments...so I created a Z Fold Spinner card (inspired by Jennifer McGuire). Each side of the heart has one sentiment.
This is a *QUICK* video showing you how it spins as it opens. When I say QUICK, I mean it! It's quick in time and for speed of the spin! LOL!
I  used the following PS stamps/dies: All Year Cheer

That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a gift certificate to the PS store! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and play along:)

I am super excited to share with you one of my creations using the Bannerific dies. I saw THIS tutorial by Ali on how to create a hinge using brads and knew that was what I wanted to do with the round banner! I love love love how it turned out!

I used my Neo Color II crayons to watercolor some clouds- pink hues of course, as well as the sun. This was a fairly easy technique... I did flip the design so it was a bit more tricky, but I got it to work! I used some of my FAVORITE Pink Paisley Memorandum 12x12 papers for the background- I love a great gray design.

When you pull the banner tab to the left, a super cute little sun winks at you and a sentiment is seen!
This card is perfect for the PS February HEARTS challenge- all entries have to have a heart somewhere on their project. I used one- making this an easy challenge entry:) I used the following Paper Smooches stamps/dies: Luminous Spring, Hello Sampler, Group Hugs, Fruitastic, Spectrum, Clouds diesBannerific dies, Tiny Hearts dies, Spectrum Icon dies

Paper Smooches: February 2019 HEARTS challenge #2

Hello, friends:}

I went with a "get well" themed card for our friend Henry- he is recovering from a fall off a ladder and major surgery. Remember: you don't have to create a LOVE themed card or project! All you have to do is add hearts. I added stamped hearts to vellum using Illustrated Faith Grey pigment ink as well as inlaying a heart in a circle. I used up some of my FAVORITE Pink Paislee Memorandum 12x12 papers #usingupmystash DONE! Easy entry:)
I  used the following PS stamps/dies: First Aid KitLove-StruckTiny HeartsFringeEmbroidery HoopOrnaments dies
