hoooooray for FWF!!!! Lots lots lots to share...

Hello, friends! And friends with FLAIR:}

I'm sooooooo excited for Fridays! LOVE them! It's Friday with Flair over at Unity!! I've got some special cards to share with you using my favorite stamps by Unity. I LOVE  Unity!

This has got to be one of my favorite cards. I made it last month but never posted it. I LOVE IT! I love the colors....the lace (created using the Martha Stewart border punch)--which by the way, when I look at the bottom of this card, it makes me think of a dress! A pretty teal with black lace over....so pretty! I used regular blue, teal, black, and white papers from my scraps. The stamps were from the August KOTM. I also LOVE the way I stamped the flower--and the colors match perfectly! AH! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this card!

My second card was created for the CARDS blog challenge by Paige. We were to use snowflakes on our cards. I used a DP from DCWC stacks. I LOVE the ribbon on the side. The tag was stamped from the Unity Confession set. I also LOVE the sentiment- so appropriate right now...and I LIVE IN FLORIDA! It has been really really cold out lately (32* yesterday! YIKES!). It is causing a bit of a problem with my throat/lungs...praying that I get better for Sunday's worship! Back to the card...I thought something was missing, so I made another one with a bit of leftover (from last year--I told you...hoarder) snowflake buttons and large sequence for embellishments. I LOVE the finished card! The snowflakes just made it better:}

Here is a close-up of the snowflakes. LOVE it!

Another project I made this week...two journals. The butterflies are from the Bevy of Butterflies set by Unity. These journals were requested by our friends, Catherine and Daniel Am. They are using them to help them memorize bible verses! SOOOO excited for them to use these:}
**NOTE:: I can't wait to get a Zutter Bind It All...that will help with my sides of the journal. Right now, I have to use up old journals that I bought and modify them...so a bit of tan still shows...eh.

Let's see....I think that is about it for cards...here is a pic of Olsen the day we got back from vacation. Mind you--he is 65 lbs. and a Catahoula Leopard. Not a lap dog. He loves to get into my lap! Why? Not sure! It makes it very hard to work--but a good laugh:}

Don't forget to stop by all the other ladies who participated in FWF!! Click here to see the whole list! Great stuff out there! Don't forget to leave some LOVE!!!

Starting small with my new blog...fast fact:: I LOVE giving things and making people feel special!  LOVE it! So help me give more by following!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I love when we visit! I will have more cards to share this weekend and esp. Monday--it's H{ippity} Hop Monday with Ippity! I showed Trav the card I made today for that...and he laughed! AH! I liked it too:}

Blessings to you! Until next time~
Love,
Sav

You are so sweet Savannah! Your energy and cheerfulness come over the web!! I love your cards as well. The lace border you made on the first card is adorable and the image is perfect - I just think I might have to pull that set out again and give it a little more love! The second card is also fabulous - either way but the snowflakes do add a little something extra :)!! I would be thrilled with 32 it has been REALLY cold here. On my way to work the radio said it was 10 below 0 (windchill) and that a person could get frostbite in 20 minutes outside today!! You can bet I'm staying in - and I live in Missouri - which when I lived in Nebraska we considered "the south"!! LOL

Great cards, love the lacy black/turquiose one especially! Our snowflakes in MN are all too real & plentiful, it is still below zero here, supposed to be -22 tonight. At least the wind has gone down and we might get our road cleared today! And why do we live here....?! :)
