Momenta, CPS Sketch, and Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps

**Happy Mother's Day to all today!!!! This project is perfect to share today since it's for my cousin and his wife who are expecting their first child at the end of June! HOOOOORAY:) 

Today I'm sharing a baby card and prayer journal that I created using some Momenta products! This project was featured over on the Momenta blog yesterday, 5.12.12. Click HERE to see it on their blog:) 

Last week, Momenta sponsored the CPS Sketch challenge....and of course I wanted I wanted to play along! So I used the sketch to create this card for my cousin (her first baby is due at the end of June!!). I paper pieced this image from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps using Momenta's Butterfly Garden pyramid paper pad. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out!

I also created a prayer journal for this family. This is a small journal with 31+ prayers to pray over children. I used the same Momenta pyramid paper pad for this project. I also used the same CPS Sketch, even though this isn't a card:) The birdie was fussy cut from the Butterfly Garden pyramid paper pad. **If you would like this PDF file of the scriptures and prayer journal, please email me {sbmmhoover at yahoo dot com}.

Today I've combined two of my posts/projects--I used the NEW SCRS image with my Momenta Butterfly Garden papers. I think that this image and patterned papers go well together! Momenta is sponsoring the CPS sketch challenge this week (you can read about that in my other post HERE). **I'm getting better at changing very little on sketch challenges! For this sketch--I changed the shape and sizes of the panels! I made this card with a special family in mind--my cousin and his wife are expecting their FIRST child:) CONGRATS, Tommy and Amy!!!!

FWF {july 30} LOTS to share...giveaway!

Hello, friends and friends with FLAIR!!


**NOTE:: Be sure to read all of this post--lots to share...but I've got a giveaway going on!! Can't miss out on that!

So fun to share with you my creations using my FAV stamps!! I just love Fridays--UNITY!! My first card was created for the FWF 35 challenge. The pic to the left is our inspiration--I was inspired by the teal, read, and music notes. I used my Unity music background stamp with Fired Brick distress ink. I just love that look! Then I stamped my owl and branch {Unity's What a Hoot! stamp set} on several papers to paper piece it [which makes this card an entry for both Wee Memories (stamping) and ABC Design Blog (paper piecing) challenges]. I used my new Thicker letters....LOOOOOOOVE it! I really do:} I even used glossy accents around the eyes and on the leaves for extra dimension!! LOVE it again! I think this will fit well in Moxie Fab's Let's Do Fun & Cute challenge. 

My next card was created like a month ago! I can never EVER hold a card that long! But I had to this time! This card was created for the Card Positioning Systems sketch. I was asked if I wanted to be a part of their Facebook Friday!! So I'm featured over there today:) HOOOOOORAY! I used my new paper kit from Lucky Girl Crafts and my Ippity Book A Flutter butterfly and A Moment In Time {tag} stamps. I just love the way this card turned out! Super cute! LOVE IT! I'm entering this into Moxie Fab's Let's Do Fun & Cute challenge. 

This next card was created for the Wee Memories (stamping) and Unity Addicts (no patterned paper) challenge. I just love this new store kit by Unity {Key To Joy} ! I used two inks for the sentiment--so simple! LOVE IT!

This next card was created Moxie Fab's Let's Do Clean & Graphic challenge, but also for my brother and his wife::: LEANDER & JAMIE! It's their anniversary today!!! I used the same sentiment as my last card {Unity's Key To Joy}. I also used my Bella Blvd. papers. So simple and fun! Leo/Jamie's wedding colors were pink and orange--so I wanted to pull that out for their anniversary card!

Growing in Unity Day #6

Hello, friends:} And friends with FLAIR!!


Today is a fun day--it's FWF with Unity!! LOVE Unity! Only sad thing today is that my Growing in Unity ends TOMORROW! NOOOOOOOOOOO! I've had lots of fun--thanks for making this week so much fun!!

My first card was created for the CPS 173 sketch. I love this card! Look at all the animals saying "HI"! I used Unity's Garden Variety [pig] and May KOTM [sentiment], along with Ippity's Simply Home [bird, chicken, sheep, cow] stamp sets for this card. I love the papers--available at Limelight!! I do wish I would have stamped the sheep, pig, and chicken closer together so it looked like they were standing on each other...but you get the idea;}

This next card was created for Stampin' Sisters in Christ {stripes}, CARDS {4th of July card}, Wee Memories {red, white, blue}, and the Cupcake Inspiration {photo} challenges. I love how this card turned out. I wanted to make a circle base...but then I thought a star would be best! I used Unity's music background stamp, Sentiments O' Simple, and Our Stories sets. The tab pulls out to reveal an area to write your message. I love the distressed or aged look that the doily gives. The hardest part--glitter! I don't think I like working with it anymore! It was EVERYWHERE:}

I created another book for a family with a baby boy. I really enjoy making these prayer books. This lion was a free stamp that I won--it is from Unity's Wild Crazy set. I layered his mane with orange and yellow. Not sure if you can see it...but it is super cute! I love his tail too! Actually--this book can also be for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge because of the stripes:}

This last card is another FAV of mine! I made it just for fun. I used Unity's You're A Doll stamp set for the entire card. I paper pieced this doll--so cute! I love love love it!!
