IMAGINE Crafts: Modern Word Art RECAP

Hello, friends:)

Today I'm sharing a recap of my project over on the Imagine Crafts blog. Click HERE or HERE to check it out:) Click HERE for the video on Vimeo

****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching this video! THANKS:)
I used a Tsukineko Radiant Neon pigment inks to create some birthday cards! I was inspired by a photo that Trav took while on a cruise to the Bahamas. I really like those words at the bottom of the dock--- some are overlapped and there are some words you can read. LOVE it!

I also used some Paper Smooches stamps and dies for these cards. LOOOOOVE that both of these cards can be used for just about anyone's birthday! SUPER FUN!

Here's the card that I made in the video-- more PS stamps/dies and papers from Studio Calico. LOOOOOOOOOOOVE

I hope that you will stop over on the Imagine Crafts blog HERE to check out my video or leave some love

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:)

Trav really thought this was a cool photo--- I thought it was just a dock until I looked closer and found inspiration in the words! LOL! ***Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS:)

PS SPARKS- another try

Hello, friends:}

Today I wanted to share my second try at my Paper Smooches SPARKS July Picture Perfect challenge!! This week we are inspired by the following picture:
I created the exact same card--- with different colors! I just didn't like the photos from before (the white cardbase didn't look good making the pinks a bit off!)! So I made a whole new card using the PS Crystal Clear stamp set and Hello Words die. I think CAS is growing on me:) This is a one layer card. LOVE! I actually LOVE both cards--- and think this photo turned out a bit better! LOL!
Maybe this photo isn't any better! OY! I really need to learn how to work with storms, sunshine, lights, etc! LOL!
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends July 19th. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS July Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

Well..... I really wanted to used the stripes and jars as my inspiration... and that super cute tag! But my card ended up CAS and then inspired by the jar (75%), the stripes (15%), and the pink jar (10%).

I love this simple card! It's so fun! I used some My Mind's Eye enamel dots along with My Little Shoebox alphas. The straw (from the PS Crystal Clear set) was stamped with Tsukineko Radiant Neon Electric Coral ink. I finished the sentiment using a stamp from PS Bold Buzzword. LOOOOOOOVE-- it's simple and so fun!
Uh... I don't really like these photos...so I tried to get a better pic....
Maybe this photo isn't any better! OY! I really need to learn how to work with storms, sunshine, lights, etc! LOL!

Chickaniddy Crafts: Pinspiration Recap

Hello, friends:)
 photo picasioncom_8146e2e38e727ecc241fe5a27ac0c266.gif

Earlier this week, I was on the Chickaniddy blog--- check it out HERE:) I've been inspired by the Chickaniddy Pinterest July 2014 Mood board!

I was inspired by the first picture with the squares and doodle lines. It instantly reminded me of stitching and so I got out my sewing machine!

I used a couple of
Chickaniddy patterned papers from the Date Night collection for my base and center design. I also added some banner flag ends to the sentiment using some yellow striped papers in the Twirly Girly collection. I LOOOOOOOVE those brads and how everything ties together, as well as matches the Pinterest photo!

This card was super easy to create!

  1. Cut 1 1/4" squares from patterned paper and adhere to card base.
  2. Stitch around squares and card base (twice if needed).
  3. Add brads to left corner.
  4. Create sentiment using stickers and patterned paper.
EASY!
Chickaniddy Supplies: Paper Downtown (DN14OS03), Love Letters (DN14OS04), Cutest Couple (DN14OS05), Piggy Tails (TG14OS12); Stickers Date Night (DN14EB01); Brads Date Night (DN14EB06)
I hope that you will check out the Chickaniddy Pinterest boards and get inspired!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:)

Reverse Confetti: SFYTT14

Hello, friends:}

I'm joining in the fun with the Reverse Confetti team today! Be sure to stop by the RC blog for more inspiration and details!

We are using the SFYTT#14 as our inspiration. I just love the simplicity of this sketch and used that as my inspiration for a CAS design for my card:) ***I'm thinking CAS is more of my style now-a-days! LOL! ***ANNNNNNNNND hold on to your seat--- I've actually followed this sketch 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First time in a LOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME! LOL!

I used some Echo Park Splendid Sunshine papers for my cardbase-- and I added a bit of Scotch Neon Pink washi tape for added interest to that side panel. I pulled out some of my "old" chipboard pieces and found this SUPER fun typewriter from the Dear Lizzy/American Crafts collections. I thought it matched the dictionary paper and would really go well with the RC Quirky Cuties Rocky Raccoon sentiment. LOOOOOOOVE! I finished the card by coloring some vellum with my Tsukineko Memento Angel Pink ink and die cutting hearts from the RC Love Note confetti cuts. LOVE LOVE LOVE :)
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and challenge details for this month's SFYTT

And mark your calendars!!!!!! Every month on the 16th, the Reverse Confetti will also have a color story challenge!! I hope you will join in the fun with both RC challenges:) And stop by the RC Facebook page and "like" us!!
