Paper Smooches: May Challenge (NEON rainbow)

Hello, friends:}

I'm also sharing another card for the May rainbow challenge. I went with neon colors... and my colors are not all together (like a rainbow) but all around the card. ANYTHING is possible for this card as long as lots of color is used 😜 I was inspired by THIS layout by Sasha, and I would say that I CASED this scrapbook page almost 90%! I loved everything about it!    Picture: Credit

I used some old BasicGrey Highline papers along with some neon beads and washi tape. I used mostly PS dies including: Word Bubbles, Thank You, and Feathers. The sentiment is from the Many Thanks stamp set.

Paper Smooches: April challenge #3

Hello, friends:)

Each week I write the "Sunday Recap" over on the PS blog (click HERE). Today I'm sharing these two cards for the April challenge, black and white with a pop of color. Play along HERE! 

I think I might have added a bit more color than needed or wanted, but I still love these cards! They are simple and so fun--- perfect for anyone celebrating a birthday. **Annnnnnnnd I think I might use this design for a card using one of May's new releases! Check back soon for that card!

Paper Smooches SPARKS: March Designer Drafts challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week we are sharing a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge. 

This week we are inspired by the following sketch:

**Sentiments can be placed anywhere on the sketch.

Ok---so I think I went a bit off... I didn't follow the sketch as much as I had been doing. Maybe 65% this time! I moved the sentiment to the banner (which is ok because sentiments can be anywhere). I also made the banner a rectangle and used just a triangle on the bottom right edge. And I did some other things... you'll see:) 

I used several papers and embellies that I had in my stash for this card- LOVE! I made the sentiment, from the PS Bosom Buddy set, black on black- LOVE! I die cut my brother's name and stamped a background for part of it using the PS Sassy Letters and Kissables 2 stamps/dies- LOVE! I finished the card using a transparency, ICT black embossing powder/VersaMark ink, and the Incognito and Spookalicious stamp sets ***Remember when I would use the pumpkin eyes for chevrons?!?! I remembered that this week and used it for a fun embellishment! LOVE x10000000!

BRI: GUEST DESIGNER Recap

I've got a couple of projects to share with you today-- both use some amazing products available in the BRI store! First up, I'm sharing a fun journal project and video! **Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS! 

You can definitely recreate this project using any journal and Amy Tangerine Plus One Mixed Tape washi tape or your favorite washi tape from the BRI store! 

Next I want to share a super fun card using exclusive BRI stamps!!! I used the Over the Rainbow stamp set to create this fun and cheery card. I also used the We R Memory Keepers Script embossing folder for the background design--- LOVE that the neon rainbow made from washi tape is next to the embossed word SUN!

Paper Smooches SPARKS August Picture Perfect challenge {post2}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is a Picture Perfect challenge.  

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

I found inspiration in the jars, paintbrushes, and washi tape. I went with a clean look too... white cardbase... simple design... LOVE IT!  

I used the Paper Smooches Crystal Clear stamp set along with brushes from the I Heart Art and Just a Note sets. I added a die cut sentiment from the Quote Tag dies. LOVE that neon washi tape and brad!

Imagine Crafts: Modern Word Art

I used my Tsukineko Radiant Neon pigment inks to create some birthday cards! I was inspired by a photo from our room balcony on a cruise to the Bahamas- this photo is of the port dock. Trav really thought this was a cool photo--- I thought it was just a dock until I looked closer and found inspiration in the words! LOL! ***Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! PS SPARKS- another try

Hello, friends:}

Today I wanted to share my second try at my Paper Smooches SPARKS July Picture Perfect challenge!! This week we are inspired by the following picture:

I created the exact same card--- with different colors! I just didn't like the photos from before (the white cardbase didn't look good making the pinks a bit off!)! So I made a whole new card using the PS Crystal Clear stamp set and Hello Words die. I think CAS is growing on me:) This is a one layer card. LOVE! I actually LOVE both cards--- and think this photo turned out a bit better! LOL! 

Maybe this photo isn't any better! OY! I really need to learn how to work with storms, sunshine, lights, etc! LOL!

Paper Smooches SPARKS July Picture Perfect challenge

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is a Picture Perfect challenge.  

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

Well..... I really wanted to used the stripes and jars as my inspiration... and that super cute tag! But my card ended up CAS and then inspired by the jar (75%), the stripes (15%), and the pink jar (10%). 

I love this simple card! It's so fun! I used some My Mind's Eye enamel dots along with My Little Shoebox alphas. The straw (from the PS Crystal Clear set) was stamped with Tsukineko Radiant Neon Electric Coral ink. I finished the sentiment using a stamp from PS Bold Buzzword. LOOOOOOOVE-- it's simple and so fun!

Uh... I don't really like these photos...so I tried to get a better pic....

Maybe this photo isn't any better! OY! I really need to learn how to work with storms, sunshine, lights, etc! LOL!
