Paper Smooches SPARKS: March Anything Goes (wk3) challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! Another Anything Goes challenge starts today!   

That's right--you get to create ANYTHING you want (as long as you use Paper Smooches stamps)!! This is the BEST challenge ever!!! 

I created a card inspired by a layout I found on Pinterest--- I think my card looks good! That's not what I originally thought though! LOL! 

I used some of my journaling cards to create this birthday card. I used lots of Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko inks, spritz  and their gold embossing powder! LOVE! I only used 2 PS stamps: Happy Birthday and Geobasics. This was a simple card to complete, but then again it wasn't! LOL! I said earlier that I didn't really like it... that was until I kept adding more and more details! Once I added the washi tape, ink splatters, homemade brad and thread... I liked it so much more! And then I added the sequins from Pretty Pink Posh--- PERFECT! It's a winner:) And I think my Sister-In-Law Jamie will get this for her birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jamie!!!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS: January Anything Goes (wk1) challenge

I actually made this card about three weeks ago... for such a time as this! I ran out of time this week to make anything new. So I'm sharing a Christmas card- LOL! I guess that is ok because I need to start making my Christmas cards EARLY... like NOW! So I actually send them out this year! LOL! 

I used the Paper Smooches Christmas Words 2 and Snowflakes dies to create this CAS holiday card. The papers are from an OLD Doodlebug pad. The sequins is from Pretty Pink Posh. Super simple-- LOVE it!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes (wk3) challenge

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! Another Anything Goes challenge starts today!   

That's right--you get to create ANYTHING you want (as long as you use Paper Smooches stamps)!! This is the BEST challenge ever!!! 

I created a super simple card... techniques include: using embossing paste, fussy cutting, and stamping. EASY and it's perfect for Trav's Gran (he agrees and thinks she will love it!).

I used the PS Reflections and Bosom Buddy stamp sets along with some sequins by Pretty Pink Posh and Kelly Purkey. The washi tape and cardstock are random-- I seriously don't know where I got them! LOL!

Confetti Camera RECAP

Thursday was my day to share a Confetti Camera creation on the Reverse Confetti blog. 

I paired together the Reverse Confetti Christmas Set {Bring on the Merry} with the NEW You Make Me Smile release for this super easy card!

Here are couple of things that I LOVE about mixing and matching my RC stamps and dies: 

• RC has lots of different fonts with each set and with different sentiments
• You can mix and match fonts or pair two similar designs
• Holiday stamp sets work for non-traditional and any occasion cards/creations
• RC stamps line up together on a stamp press so you can stamp all sentiments and images at once

Virtual Smooches: CAS + Only PS dies

I'm sharing a quick start-to-finish card using only PS dies and Pretty Pink Posh sequins! I was inspired by a display at Target and knew that I had to use the PS Chains die for this card design!

Ribbon Carousel #91 {post2}

Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! This month's theme/challenge--- Party Time! 

I created a couple of watercolored cards for my project today. I have some cousins that are graduating this year... and so I made these fun grad cards for them! ETA: I'm also entering this card in the Cure for the Monday Blues challenge:) LOVE LOVE LOVE Taheerah!!!

I used my Tsukineko Radiant Neon Electric Yellow, Orange, and Pink pigment inks as watercolors by adding Ink Potion No. 9 to the ink! LOOOOOOVE! And then I doubled the PS Congratulations die to make it pop (an idea that Trisha and I agreed on when she was over on Tuesday- side note: she was able to complete more cards than me! That's normal! LOL!). To finish my card I stitched (my spool item!) some large gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh under the sentiment. EASY and super pretty!

VIDEO: Reverse Confetti April Color challenge

Hello, friends:}

I'm sharing a video today using some NEW Reverse Confetti stamps and dies! 

This card was inspired by the RC April Color Challenge {light blue, green, plum}. 


I have to say that this card really took me out of my comfort zone! Get ready for this.....I colored with Copics! OH MY! 

Look at that coloring on the bunny--- WOWZA! I knock my socks off;) Just kidding! I need LOTS of practice with coloring! This is just "outlining"! LOL! 

My friend Trisha stopped by yesterday and we practiced coloring the little bunny from the RC Bebe Bunny set. I felt pretty good after Trisha left... but then during my video.... I had to text her twice to show her how I was doing! LOL!

I used some Imagine Crafts gold embossing powder for the sentiment (RC All About You stamp set). I also used some sequins that I got from Pretty Pink Posh. Add in a RC Love Note die cut heart and Double Edge Scallop Border.... and that's my card:)

Reverse Confetti: VIDEO + March color challenge {post2}

I'm sharing a video today using some NEW Reverse Confetti stamps and dies! 

This card was inspired by the RC March Color Challenge {yellow, green, navy}. 


I created one of my FAVORITE cards for this challenge! I love it because of all the details.... I love the technique I used.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the papers (esp the Chickaniddy one!).... and I LOOOOOOVE these new RC Carton Cuties stamps and dies and the Beautiful Banners dies! LOVE this card x10000000!

Sequins and pompom ribbon from Pretty Pink Posh

The technique I share in this video is how to create a stencil using RC dies. I love this idea-- I've actually been thinking about doing this for about four months! LOL! LOVE! I also created my very FIRST embossing paste design for this card!!! I love this embossing paste!
