***Giveaway details below:)
I'm super excited to join in the fun with Vera Yates and Jennifer McGuire for the Caring Hearts blog hop Day 1! ***giveaway details below
Caring Hearts Card Drive is a card drive organized by Vera and Jennifer with the goal to collect holiday cards for the elderly that live in nursing homes. During this time many of the elderly who live in nursing homes would really feel the loneliness or miss their families.
Wouldn't it be so AWESOME if we could bring a smile to their face and brighten their holiday season simply by sharing our love of cardmaking? This is a simple gesture to let them know that they are not forgotten!
The card drive is going on RIGHT NOW until November 28, 2014. If you'd like to send your cards for the card drive, please go to THIS post on Vera's blog or THIS post on Jennifer's blog. All details and addresses can be found on these two blog posts.
GIVEAWAY details: No hop is complete without prizes!!! Please leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win! Comments stay open until the 8th at midnight CST. I went kind of CAS for today's card. I was inspired by a photo that I found on Pinterest- it was an idea for wrapping gifts... but I knew it would look awesome as a card! Everything was white and red.
I used Imagine Crafts Rocket Red ink along with the Paper Smooches A Holy Holiday stamp set. To finish my card, I stitched on the sentiment and added white enamel dots. EASY! *I think this card could definitely be mass produced!
That's it for me today! Next up--hop on over to Caroline Bredeson's amazing blog! And don't forget to leave some love for everyone and for your chance to win some fabulous goodies;)
Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Ok, I know this will sound stupid, but have you done the Caring Hearts Card Drive before? Do they want us to sign the cards, as if we were giving it to the person or are they giving them to people so they can give them to friends? I know, probably stupid... Another thing, I usually make some cards and buy some, I never give out all the ones I bought, do you think they'd want those?
