I have used the NEW Faith Sampler stamp set to make projects for the hop today!!!! I have soooooooooo many ideas for this set because of it has multiple sentiments that work for different phrases and sayings. It's perfect for cards, tags, bookmarks, index cards (for scripture), and bible journaling! LOOOOOOOVE! 

I've created two bible journaling designs using this new set. The first one is for 1 Thessalonians 1:4 which says, "For we know, brothers loved by God, that He has chosen you". I wanted to do a page about who I am (what I am) in Christ. I chose this verse because it states that I am loved and chosen. **I wish there was a verse that listed everything we are in Christ- loved, chosen, free, forgiven, valuable, etc! LOL:) 

In this set there are many words/sentiments, and I decided to create tabs with the following words "loved", "forgiven", and "worthy"--- which take NOTE: I know I'm not really worthy... but because of Christ, I am "valuable". Under each tab, I wrote some verses to remind me of who I am in Christ. 

For the word "loved" I actually masked together the word "hope" and "loving". I used the "p" as the "d"!!! Masking stamps is one of my favorite crafting techniques to use. 

For my second page, I created a tip-in using a Project Life journaling card. I have a hard time remembering that God is good ALL the time and in ALL places- that means on the "mountains" (in the highs) and in the "valleys (the lows, hard times). 

It's sooooooo easy to praise the Lord when things are going the way I want them to. But when God says "No" or "Wait", it's hard to say He is good. So I created this little tip-in to help me remember that He is good ALWAYS! This tip-in can be found near Ecclesiastes 7:14 which says, "In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other."

I actually used the PS Religious Word "God" die to create the word "good". And I ended up using three journaling cards that were the same so all of my die cut pieces blended in to the background:) LOL!

Paper Smooches challenge- June #4-6

We are at the END of our Paper Smooches challenge-- for the month of June we are focusing on "MEN"!!!!!!

I sat down yesterday, pulled out some of my Project Life journaling cards, and created 3 CAS designs for some little men and any man in my life! I love these easy designs- and I love even more that I was able to make three cards in one afternoon! That's never happened before! LOL! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Huge Hugs, Huge Hugs 2, Huge Hugs Icons, Enchanted Elves, Numbers, Word Bubbles, and Birthday Sampler. 

So.... I kind of stamped the sentiment crooked on this card:( Hopefully whoever receives this won't notice! LOL! 

This card is for my little nephew Cash- he's ONE!!!!!!!!!! A year flies by so quickly!  ***Inspired by THIS page and designer

Paper Smooches challenge- June #3

We are full swing in our Paper Smooches challenge-- for the month of June we are focusing on "MEN"!!!!!!

This is my third project for the month and this special card was given to Trav on the 14th- which was our 11th proposal anniversary. 11 years ago he asked me to marry him, through a song that he wrote... of course I would say YES a million times over! ❤️  

I painted the background and then stamped/masked a couple of sentiments and row of chevrons on a kraft panel. I cut a small slit in the fold of the card so that I could wrap this panel around the back. This was a simple card to make! I used the following PS stamps/dies: I Blank You, Borderlicious, and Fancy Frames.

For my second project, I made a birthday card for my dad. I wanted to stamp his age or put something on the front with numbers... so I used the year he was born {1956}. I went this route because he's a bit older than 56, and I thought he would appreciate me not putting his age! LOL! 😜 I used the following PS stamps/dies: Desert Icons, Word Bubbles, Birthday Buddies, and Alphadot.

I love love loooooooooove this llama image, and I knew I wanted to make a card for just about any guy with it! There's not much to say about this project because it was so simple to make--- die cut a couple of pieces, stamp, and layer it all together. SUPER EASY! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Courteous Cuties stamps/dies, Word Bubbles, Incognito, and Hello Words.
