I am super excited about this NEW Stitch Builder die set. I have sooooooooooooooo many ideas for this set that include gem piecing, geometric designs, cross stitching, markers, and MORE!! I wish I had more time to finish my other ideas and creations before today--- I will share them as soon as I can:)
For today, I created a very simple cross-stitched flower design (no pattern available- I just made something up; that's why you might see some mistakes! LOL!) using the Stitch Builder die set. This set comes with multiple sizes of hole patterns to create any size of a stitched background for your project! I chose to use the large hole pattern for this card.

I also used the solid aqua-green paper from Kim's NEW Rainbow Sherbet paper pack! I loooooooooooove these colors and the patterns are super cute as well!
PS stamps/dies/stencils used include: Word Up, Layered HelloRainbow Sherbet paperStitch Builder

Be sure to stop by the PS blog for details about this blog hop and giveaway! And don't forget to leave some love along the hop:)

This month I played with the NEW Savvy stencil. I had a lot of fun with this scallop design!
This first card is special- it's for Trav! We celebrate 13 years of marriage this Sunday ❤️ I tried to make a simple design with masculine colors. My FAVORITE part of this card are the little gold flowers--- I used the NEW Botanicals stencil (a sneak peek can be found in the photo below!) with a FOIL PEN!!! It's my new favorite tool to use with my PS stencils! 👏🏻
PS stamps/dies/stencils used include: Savvy, Inverted NotesBotanicals

I flipped the scallops and created grey clouds for the next card. I wanted to make an encouraging card for a friend--- you can't go wrong with a rainbow:) **You can see a sneak peek of the NEW Thinking of You die on this card!!
PS stamps/dies/stencils used include: SavvyThinking of You

Paper Smooches: Halloween + My FIRST Time Coloring

Hello friends:)

**Click HERE for the Coffee Lovers Cardmakers blog hop with inspiration and prizes

I'm super excited to share a card today- it's my FIRST colored images/card!!!

SAVfact: I do not like coloring.
SAVfact: I do not like Halloween.

But somehow... someway... today's card features both! :)
This card was actually created for Paper Smooches' September release. I used the NEW Best Witches stamps and dies, along with the Hallloweenies stamps, Halloween Icons, and lots of Copic markers!

My theory for coloring: just start! I have heard lots of talk (instructions) about how to color (from years past when I first bought my Copic markers). I tried the light colors first, layered with two darker colors, and then blended again with the light marker. I hope I colored correctly! LOL! I really did enjoy coloring- it was so fun and relaxing!
Here's another Halloween card I created in September. I was inspired by a fun graphic. I used the Paper Smooches Best Witches stamps/dies, Birthday Sampler, and the following dies- Sassy Letters, Welcome Word, Bannerific. Thought: You would think a simple card like this would mean LESS stamps/dies! LOL!

That's it for me today but there are more creations and projects coming! Be on the lookout for our November 2019 blog hop and sneak peeks starting November 6th

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed ❤️

Paper Smooches + Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop ********************GIVEAWAY

Hello, friends:)
I'm super excited about joining in the fun with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers and the Paper Smooches DT for a hop!
We are excited to share some caffeinated cards with you. Details about the blog hop can be found below;)

SAVfact: I do not like coffee. Making a coffee card is a whole other thing🙃 Last week I saw an illustration of a drowsy hand coming out of a bed with a comforter and pillows with the saying "Good morning". I instantly knew I had to use that as my inspiration for my coffee card today!!

I created a bedroom scene using some Fancy Pants Designs Golden Days 6x6 papers with the Paper Smooches Rose Frame (headboard) and Stitched Frames (pillows) dies. The comforter was hand-drawn. I love the little coffee mug from the Coffee & Tea die set- it's the perfect size for this card. I used the illustration as my guide for hand-drawing the arm and fingers. I stamped a custom sentiment to finish. SOOOOOOOOOOOO fun:)
The pillows are made from tissue paper!?!?!? So cute:)
Look closely for the steam :)

Here are some other coffee themed cards I've made:)

This month I was able to play in the studio a little longer, which means I have TWO cards for you using the NEW You Are A Blessing die.
This first one is so simple, which is NOT my style! However, I love how simple and elegant this card turned out to be❤️ #winwin
I wanted to create a white on white using white cardstock and white tissue paper. I know you can't see the white tissue paper much in these photos 😩  but it really adds the sweetest touch of elegance to this card! The die was cut from gold metallic paper. I ended up only using the letters, which means I will have extra pieces for another project:) #bonus
This next card is definitely my style of layers and patterned papers:) I pulled out some of my older Pink Paislee Cedar Lane 6x6 papers and mixed and matched for the background design then layered the die cut sentiment/frame along with other embellishments. This second card was easier to make than the first! LOL! 🙃
I love this NEW You Are A Blessing die because it has a stitched frame and a rectangle with the sentiment--- technically that's 3 different pieces for this die- SO FUN!
PS stamps/dies/stencils used include: You Are A Blessing die, Inverted Notes,  Butterflies 2

Be sure to stop by the PS blog for details about this blog hop and giveaway! And don't forget to leave some love along the hop:)

That's it for me today- THANK YOU so much for stopping by! Be blessed ❤️

Simon Says Stamp + Paper Smooches STAMPtember Release

Hello friends:)

It's an honor to join the Simon Says Stamp team for their STAMPtember celebration! Kim, Paper Smooches, has designed a super fun NEW stamp exclusively for STAMPtember  and I was able to play with it yesterday:)

I have been SUPER busy this month with relaunching our church, which has been stressful and fun all at the same time. Unfortunately, my studio work has been put on hold, and yesterday was the first time that I was able to play around with these fun images.

I wanted a simple, black and white design using the larger images. I think I stayed pretty close to the original idea for this card- it's easy, elegant (per Trav), and could be mass produced quickly. I did stray from the color theme but I think black on kraft is much more stunning than black and white:)
I think I might even change up this design by extending the leaf pattern up to go off the top edge too! And I could even change the color of the inks or papers- brand new and fresh design yet still the same! I could also see using those little leaves for a more detailed background design.

I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed more time in my studio to create all of these card ideas! LOL!

That's it for me today but there are more creations and projects on the SSS blog! I hope you will check it out and grab an exclusive PS stamp set

Thanks for stopping by ❤️   I hope you have a blessed day!

Kim has created a fun little Expressions die set that can literally be used on any of her other dies and images to create a face. It has lips, eyelashes, a smile/mouth, and eyes. I have been seeing lots of rainbows lately here in Florida after our afternoon showers and decided to give this little rainbow a face:)

I love this little card----> it encourages and really could be used for just about anyone! Including our guy friends- all you have to do is use the eyes and mouth.
For our girlfriends add some eyelashes.
PS stamps/dies/stencils used include: Sunnyville, Spreading Sunshine, Inverted Greetings, Spectrum stamps/dies, Expression dies, Curly Clouds dies
