2026: A Catch Father's Day Card [Card #163]

Hello, friends! 

I'm back to share a fun pop-up card design using the NEWEST Pink & Main A Catch Pop-Up Card dies--- this is a great masculine card design that could be used for the outdoors man and ANY occasion! 

I decided to go with a green background and water to make the fish colors pop. I really wanted to make a "stripper" type fish... but since I don't know much about fish, this design works for me! LOL! 

This is Trav's Step-Dad's Father's Day card this year. My Dad??? Well... I have an idea for his card but it will be late due to my illness🤦🏼‍♀️

2026: 20 Years- I've Come PAR [Card #162]

Hello, everyone! 

I've got 2 truths and a lie for this card today:

1. TapeRunner adhesive made this card EASY to make ✅ I LOVE my TR adhesive! I use it for EVERY project!!!!
2. I LOVE to make custom foiling pieces using my Pink & Main Mini Minc and Cheerfoil (I actually used some leftover foiling from another custom golf card I created for Trav earlier this year!) ✅ I guess that’s another truth- I LOVE using scraps or making twofer cards ✅
3. I started playing golf this year ❌

Ok- that last one is a lie… I’m Trav’s caddie! It only took me 20 years to get interested in golf 😉

We celebrated 20 years of engagement last week [Trav proposed on June 14, 2006- it’s a fun story! Someday day I will share it.]. I’ve had this card planned for awhile, but I was too ill to create it last week. Better late than never… and I guess that goes with me liking golf too😊

2026: Pink & Main June Release

Another month has passed by quickly!!!!!!!!! Nothing about time flying by is good- I need it to slow down... however, one good thing about time passing quickly is that there is a NEW Pink & Main release starting today!!!!

2026: SSSIGChallenge - Create a Scene [Card #160]

I'm back, sweet friends! 

I will not lie- when I saw the Simon Says Challenge theme for this month... I cried! I guess that's why this is a "challenge"!!! 

 

I do not make scenes! I just don't! I think it's because it's just too hard for me to figure out how to make a scene. I guess there shouldn't be excuses, but there are🤣

However, I thought about this challenge (in all the senses of the meaning), and I got creative! I had these Erin Lee Creative stencils and created a fun beach scene/sky! I think this works for the challenge! LOL!

2026: Shell-ebrating My Friend's Birthday [Card #159]

Hello, friends! 

It is my friend's birthday TODAY. Unfortunately, she works way too hard, and I was ill... so we missed each other and can't celebrate her special day until this weekend. Shell-ebrate YOU, Julie! Happy birthday 🎉  

A little background for this card- I was inspired by a card design using some Hero Arts mermaid/crab image and card. I loved the pink background and blue sea so I used that as my base. I had this mermaid image for awhile and decided to color it up. Coloring people/skin/hair.... NOT my favorite! I'm still a newbie! But I think it turned out ok-- hopefully Julie likes it too!!! LOL :) #SavannahLearnsToColor 🖍️

2026: AGAIN!?!? Another Pet Sympathy Card [Card #158]

Hello!!! 

(sigh) Again... I had to make another pet sympathy card last week. 

My younger brother's dog, Lacy, (same age as my older brother's dog that passed last month- 14 years) passed a week or so ago. She wasn't doing very good, had lots of tumors and lumps. Even though her health was bad, she was a happy little pup! She was a good, good dog! She will be missed❤️

That's it for me today. I really hope I don't have to make ANY MORE of these cards- they are so hard to make!!!

2026: Guest Designer for Creative Worship Stamps

Hello again, sweet friends! 

I'm thrilled to announce that I was asked to be the Creative Worship Stamps Guest Designer for the month of June!!! 

 

I have seen the DT members' creations on FB/IG, and when I got the email asking if I would be a GDT, I was beside myself! What a blessing! 

Here's what I created this month *MORE details will be shared on my IG page throughout the month; all CWS supplies will be listed below: 

 

I copied a technique that I shared waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 2014 for the Imagine Crafts YouTube channel! I mixed gel and ink to create a textured paste. Super fun! Check out the video HERE! **Don't mind the bad recording- this was done waaaaaaaaaaay before iPhones and technology that is available today:) 

As you can see, I did a lot of fussy cutting and modern, bright design! I really had fun trying new designs, pushing my creativity!
