2026: TapeRunner + Love From Lizi Masculine Shaker Card [Card #251]

Hello again, sweet friends! 

I'm back to share another quick card (and video) that I created using the Love From Lizi Secret Garden kit, which is part of her 10th anniversary celebration kit🎉🎉🎉 

 

So... this card was SUPER easy to make! I even recorded the process so you could see what I did... well, I thought I was recording! My goal was to split the recording up into small sections because uploading large videos take forever. I would "start" and then "stop" every 5 mins. Sounds like a good plan... well.... halfway through [which I didn't know] my "starts" became my "stops" and the "stops" were my "starts", which means that I started to record the OFF times of creating--I was cleaning up, moving things around, etc. 😂 Talk about silly! 

So HERE is a quick, funny video I made using what I had from this design!

Here are the steps to create this card: 

1. Cut cardbase to size and die cut a shape in the center (I used a hexagon shape)
2. Add TR adhesive to the back of the patterned paper around the shape; add transparency piece 
3. Use LFL Pin Stripe Peel Off stickers to outline the shape design
4. Die cut the sentiment and add ink to match patterned paper/colors
5. Ink blend a white cardstock piece to place behind the shape design; attach this ink blended paper to the cardbase using TR adhesive 
6. Add foam tape to the back of the patterned paper (around all four edges and around the shape design)
7. Add a few spoonfuls of LFL Sequins Mix on top of the ink blended paper 
8. Remove foam tape backing and attach patterned paper on top of cardbase (sequins mix) -- this is kind of difficult so take your time! 
9. Add ribbon to sentiment and attach to card using foam tape 

This really was a SIMPLE card to make... it's the video I struggled with 😂

2026: A Special Cow Birthday Card [Card #233]

Hey, friends! 

I haven't been able to share this card because the recipient hasn't received it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I made this card back at the beginning of August for my friend's birthday- she loooooooooves highland cows; even went to Scotland to see some! 

 

So if I made this in August... why hasn't she received it? 

Well... I've been ill and missed her at church the last 4-5 weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️ 

So here we are... I'm sharing it anyway because at this rate... will she even get it, by face-to-face contact or through the mail?! My hope is yes... but we will see:) 

A few details about this card design: the background has a foiled print by Erin Lee Creative- it's foiled in iridescent foil! It's soooooooooo pretty; the cow image was made using kraft paper and acrylic markers (I saw a painting of a cow like this so I thought I would do it with paper); the sentiment is from Pink & Main (this P&M set has super cute highland cow images!!!).

2026: TapeRunner + Love From Lizi Magic [Card #250]

Hello again, sweet friends! 

I'm back to share a quick card I created using the Love From Lizi Secret Garden kit, which is part of her 10th anniversary celebration kit🎉🎉🎉 **NOTE: This is also my 250th card in 2026!!! 

 

I created a video HERE (or check out the link below) and actually did some magic to create that bow charm! Just kidding- Trav saw the edited version of this video and said I had done magic! LOL 🤣

I used my TapeRunner adhesive to attach the cardbase and ephemera. This card came together QUICKLY... well, not as quick as the video because I sped that up but super quick!

2026: STAMPtember Exclusive with Pink & Main

Hello again, sweet friends! 

Today is a SPECIAL day because I'm joining in the FUN with Simon Says Stamp's STAMPtember and their exclusive collabe with Pink & Main!!! 

Check out this SUPER cute sweater stamp/die set by P&M!!! I love how these sweaters are all different and can be used for the holiday cards (which I'm very behind in making!)!!! 

 

I decided to make some sweater tags using this exclusive set. Are these not the CUTEST treat box tags!?!?! 

I am a newbie to coloring (probably will be for my life! LOL!)... but I am really impressed with how these lightbulbs turned out! I colored each one with an alcohol marker and then outlined it with a colored pencil! So fun!!!!

2026: Holiday Card with TapeRunner [Card #248-249]

Hello again, sweet friends! 

I started working on my holiday cards the other day... well I made TWO holiday cards using this design because the background made a twofer [just reversed]😂

I love using my TapeRunner adhesives on my cardbases (you might know that info based on all my posts when I talk about it... and from THIS post)! I usually add TR adhesive to the top, bottom, and both sides to adhere my cardstock/patterned papers/panels. However, for a diagonal background I add just a bit extra in the center and down the diagonal of each piece of paper!

TIP: For a diagonal background I add EXTRA adhesive down the diagonal on both pieces of paper/panels. This helps keep the bond strong to the cardbase. 

I love how this card turned out- it's modern and has fun colors! Let's see if I can make 100+ more holiday cards before November!!! I'll keep you posted🙃 **NOTE: I don't use the same card design twice unless it creates a twofer. So I have at least 100 MORE holiday card designs to make! YIKES! I better get started!!

I created TWO cards for today featuring two different images. The first one focuses on the LITTLE snowflakes. I used these to create a holiday tree. I thought it would be fun to make something from little images that get overlooked. 

My second card used the larger animal images because they are soooooooooooooo cute! I created a CAS design to make them pop! I will admit that my coloring looks better in real life as the photos make my blues look splatchy! OY!

2026: A Special Sympathy Card

Hello again, sweet friends! 

Another sympathy card... but this time it was for a dear friend that passed away a month ago. Today is his birthday and his memorial. 

Jabin was a great friend- kind to everyone, generous as well! He was quiet but wise! He had integrity and it showed! He was also our guitar/bass player on our worship team. 

When I found out that he had passed, I knew I needed to make a card with a guitar. I think this card design is PERFECT for him <3

2026: Love From Lizi Secret Garden [Card #245]

Hello, friends! 

I am thrilled to join in the celebration with Love From Lizi and her 10th anniversary🎉🎉🎉

 

I received the Secret Garden kit, which has SOOOOOOOOOOO many charms, gems, stickers, papers, ribbons, and MORE! 

I decided to create a quick start-to-finish video on IG {HERE} sharing my first card using this kit. I mixed several patterned papers and a few ribbons together to make the background. I also die cut a sentiment and added a charm. TIP: after a #happyaccident I pulled a thread from the burlap to create a small bow to go behind the charm! I was actually pretty upset that my card almost got ruined but then I realized I could take apart the burlap threads and the idea hit me! I love it!

2026: TapeRunner for the WIN- multiple cardbases

Hello again, sweet friends! 

This is the FIRST project I created after I started to feel better:) Praise the Lord I'm feeling somewhat better 🙌🏻

 

I decided it was time to create LOADS of birthday card bases for future cards! I used up an entire TapeRunner mini adhesive and some of my pink adhesive just to make these cardbases. LOL! 

Even though I know the TR adhesive is STRONG and I don't need to use a lot... I still added adhesive to the top, bottom, both sides, and a small amount in the center. This is how I add my cardbases to ALL of my cards! 

I love that I have a rainbow of cardbases to pick from for my next birthday design! I also love that I have 22 cards started! This will be VERY helpful as I get back into the swing of things:)

2026: A Mix-Match Card for FUN [made right before I was ill]

Hello, sweet friends! 

I haven't been in the studio since August 25th... that upper respiratory infection left me with a fever for two weeks and reoccurring gut issue due to the medicine! I also was continuing to deal with my migraine from the first three weeks of August 😵‍💫 OY! Although I want to be crafty, it has been hard getting back into the studio! 

 

This is actually the LAST card I created before I got ill! I mixed and matched some of my goodies to make a fun birthday card. I'm loving how this turned out... but I wish I would have added just one MORE daisy flower! LOL

But then I fell in love with this green-blue hue watercolor design... maybe next year I will make something with yellow 💛 I added little butterfly confetti and matching green-blue confetti as well. I just looooooooooove how this turned out!

OH! I should probably mention that Heidi won't get this card until mid-September...
