Hello again, sweet friends!
I am cutting it close to the Simon Says Stamp IG Challenge deadline--- bright and colorful... but I also made it modern/graphic and CAS๐Ÿ™ƒ

And did you notice... I think my #SAVfact from my previous post HERE is TRUE!!!! I matched my TapeRunner adhesive to my card!!! LOL!

That's it for me today.

2026: TapeRunner + YourPaperInsider Box 14 Purple Sympathy Cards [card #079-082]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I've been MIA because I spent a week with my family here in SC while they were on Spring Break- it was so much fun! I can't wait for them to come back and visit again! **You will see a few photos of my family while they were here SOON- they helped me finish a project:)

I was able to get into the studio again today, but unfortunately, I needed to make three sympathy cards๐Ÿ˜ญ I do not like making these cards- it breaks my heart! But I'm hoping that these cards bring comfort and peace as they remember their loved one ❤️

I used some of the purple cardstock from the YourPaperInsider Box 14 papers- they added just the right amount of purple with this watercolor patterned paper design! I love that velum- it's so soft and yet deep with the purple hue! *See supply list below for specific papers used!

I also used my FAVORITE TapeRunner adhesive- I loooooooooooooove my TR adhesive! It's so smooth, easy to apply, and can be used on almost any piece of your card [see THIS post on how I add adhesive from a TapeRunner to a SMALL die cut letter].
These cards look simple but have layers and dimension because of the YPI papers and using the TR adhesive for all layers!

That's it for me today. Unfortunately, I think I need to make MORE sympathy cards so I can stock up my stash... be on the lookout for MORE designs soon ๐Ÿ‘€

THANKS so much for stopping by! MORE to come ๐Ÿ’Œ

Be blessed ❤️

2026: Behind Again :)

Hello again, sweet friends!

I'm sure this shocks you... I'm behind in my posts again! LOL๐Ÿคฃ

Here's a few cards that I haven't posted from January, February, and early March๐Ÿ™ƒ

This was a super sad card to make- my friend had to put down her beloved horse, TJ. He was 38 years old and an old police horse. He loved to eat blueberries so I used a blueberry behind a horse silhouette. The sentiment is my FAVORITE from Erin Lee Creative, Take Care stamp set. Sympathy cards are so hard to make๐Ÿ˜ญ

Trav had to have a colonoscopy last month... oh my! Bless his heart! I had one 20 years ago and tired to warn him about it. He was so funny when he came out of the office- he told me to make a card for the entire team to thank them for being so kind. So I did๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
If you know me... you know this #SAVfact: I do not throw away any scraps! I can't! I used my FAVORITE Etc. Papers EVO papers and alcohol inks to create a card last year and have been storing these scraps for "just the right card". This CAS birthday card was it! I love how it turned out!

That's it for me today. I will be posting on Thursday all of my Simon Says Stamp NEW release creations... and Friday I will post my NEW Pink & Main designs! Be sure to stop back by for more inspiration!!! *NOTE: I know I will be posting because I'm scheduling those post NOW! LOL!

THANKS so much for stopping by! MORE to come ๐Ÿ’Œ

2026: YourPaperInsider Winter CAS card [card #026]

Hello again, sweet friends!
This is a fun card that I created using some of Box 13 papers from YourPaperInsider. I *wish* the photos would show the shine and dimension of those snowflakes!

I also realize that the penguin is not centered... I will fix that before I give this out:)
Be on the lookout on my IG page for a little reel to show the shimmer and dimension of this fun card!

That's it for me today.

2025: Congrats [card #305]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I heard some AMAZING news a few weeks back and created this card for my friend to celebrate!

Unfortunately, I just sent it out this week ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️

I ended up writing "open to celebrate" on the envelope because it is filled with die cut stars!

It's a simple design with a big celebration inside;) That's it for me today.

2025: Hello [card #308]

Hello again, sweet friends!

I'm back with another P&M creation using the NEWEST goodies ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป be sure to shop the SALE HERE!!!!!!!
I paired the NEW Bold Bright Color toner sheets with the Hello die from the Horizontal Step Card die set to make a CAS friendship card base.

I thought it needed just a bit more... so I added an embossed sentiment [using Sangria embossing powder] from the On My Mind stamp set. I thought it needed just ONE MORE detail so I added a few enamel dots from the Bright Side Glitter enamel shapes set

PERFECT! It was complete;)

That's it for me today.

2022: [cards #160-161]

Hello again, sweet friends!

I've been able to spend MORE time in the studio, and it feels soooooooo good to be back!

Trav's grandma (Gran) has always loved my creations, and since she just moved into an assisted living home, I thought maybe I could send more cards to her to cheer her up and let her know we are thinking of her.
This first card is to welcome her to her new home. I know this move has been hard, but she has told us that she really likes her roommate and that her room is nice. It's CAS with a few extra embellishments. I love that patterned paper and yellow home:)
This next card is the perfect note to send to say "thinking of you"! I love the way the sentiment is die cut from the patterned paper and layered with a black paper. I also added a few silver gems to make this card shimmer a bit. Still very CAS.

That's it for me today. I actually created five sympathy cards over the weekend (same design but different colors)- I can't wait to share the final edited photo. I shared a sneak peek on Instagram because I never throw scraps away... including the TINEST dots from a scalloped die cut. I used them as accents on the sympathy cards and it took forever! BUT it was TOTALLY worth it:)
You can see the very tiny dots on the card and on the mat! SOOOOOOO tiny! Sooooooooo fun :)

THANKS so much for stopping by!

2022: Spellbinders Winter Collection [cards #115-117]

Hello again, sweet friends!

I am beyond excited to share that I was asked to create a few special projects for the amazing company Spellbinders!!! Can you believe it!?!? WOW!

Their new Winter Garden Collection is now available and is full of different Christmas themed stamps and dies. You can click HERE to see it all--- and you can be like me and put it all in your cart today! I want everything:)

I was really challenged with the two die sets I received because I don't normally work with flowers... or 3D images! I had tons of fun stepping out of my comfort zone to make the following Christmas cards. If you know me then you know I love a good challenge that makes me think and try new techniques or styles!

I made three cards to share today. I'll start with the first card I made because I failed at making a flower 3D! LOL ๐Ÿ˜‚ I tried but the die cut flower just didn't look right (that's where the challenge came in and it drove me to make another card!). This first card is very clean and simple with a sentiment and the flower. I think it's very pretty... but that flower challenged me! I also have never heard of this flower before, the Helleborus Christmas Rose. I did some research and found it to be a very beautiful flower. You can't see it in this photo, but I added a bit of glitter to the flower to make it pop.

Because I was struggling I decided to move on to the other flower die set, the Jasmine Etched dies. This little flower inspired me to do an accent panel on the left side of a very clean and simple card. I love that the papers for the leaves and stems are striped, matching the background paper. The simple sentiment (from Create A Christmas Sentiment die set) was the perfect accent and finishing touch for this project!

After the success of a 3D Jasmine flower on the last card, I jumped back to the Helleborus Christmas Rose and made a vintage holiday card. This is my absolute favorite card of the bunch-- probably because I was successful with the 3D flower!! LOL ;) What I wasn't so successful at was adding copic coloring as the accent for the petals๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️ I used two different copic markers but I guess I needed to go darker for the lines to show. Either way-- this is my favorite card! I love it!

That's it for me today, but I have a feeling I will be back with MORE 3D flower creations using the Spellbinders Helleborus Christmas Rose and Jasmine Etched die sets! I had so much fun getting crafty with these dies.

Be sure to check out the new Spellbinders collection and order your Christmas and holiday themed products HERE

I'll be back to share MORE soon! THANKS so much for stopping by!

2022: Another set of Sympathy cards #22-27 + #28-33

Hello again, sweet friends!

As you might have seen by my previous posts... 2022 has started off rough! **Yes--- I literally copied + pasted that line from another post because this month has been full of sadness and loss!

I made a kraft and black sympathy card HERE and used that as my design for another card for my friend. I used the same design but switched the sentiment at the bottom. It's a pretty simple card but will be full of love and prayers as my friend and her mom/family grieve the loss of her brother.
I also CASED myself! I made a similar sympathy, thinking of you, sending prayers card like this one below for Paper Smooches when they released their line of paper in 2019! I recreated it because I thought it might be the card I use to send to my friend. While it's simple and beautiful, I decided that I wanted to make something different. **NOTE: And yet.... the "different" card is actually the same as the kraft/black one! LOL!
That's it for me today. I hope to get in the studio more this week--- and hopefully I can make something other than sympathy themed cards! THANKS so much for stopping by!

Be blessed ❤️

2022: Another Sympathy card #16-21

Hello again, sweet friends!

As you might have seen by my previous posts... 2022 has started off rough! I have had to make multiple sympathy cards for neighbors and friends who have lost a loved one or beloved family pet. The next set of cards I created were because a dear neighbor (I know both the mom and daughter) lost her brother recently.
This card is simple in design, which is perfect for the mother. Trav really likes the black and kraft combo--- I think it's stunning too! I plan on creating something similar for the daughter but with more color and maybe some gold embossing.
So... I created several sympathy cards (so that I had more in my stash as I've been using them frequently). One of those cards I messed up-- surprise! LOL! So I decided to flip it and make a friendship card with the scraps/leftovers. Nothing is wasted:) I also plan on making that card with colored cardstock and gold embossing powder! I'll post those soon!

That's it for me today. I hope to get in the studio more this week. THANKS so much for stopping by!

2022: Using scraps for some CAS cards #6-15

Hello, again!

I'm back with the promised scrap creations!
I posted HERE yesterday about some sympathy cards that I created using some Etc. Papers Synthetic EVO Papers and alcohol inks (these backgrounds have been sitting in my "To Make" pile since April 2021!). I love how these inks blended on the synthetic papers that I couldn't throw the scraps away; they were too pretty. So I created some very simple CAS cards with them--- and to be honest, CAS is super super HARD for me to do!
I do think these are very CAS... a simple sentiment, highlighted scrap paper, and some gems... clean & simple!

That's it for me today. I am going to see if I can create a few more cards this weekend as I have only made a small dent in my "To Make" pile from 2021! #2022goals include getting that pile off my desk! LOL

THANKS so much for stopping by!

Be blessed ❤️

first try rejects and the final project after try #2

Hello, friends!

I have soooooooooooo many projects to share... and I've come up with a quick way to share them all within a few posts. You might be seeing lots of different designs (and not a lot of details) per post to make it easier on me! LOL!

Today I'm sharing a project that I created in April for a sweet and dear friend, Kim! I love celebrating her birthday and this year she turned 50. That meant I needed to make a super special birthday card.
I had a few ideas that included watercoloring a piece of paper one solid color. I tried this with a teal and navy (you can see them in the watercolor bin). I thought that I could then add colors to the areas where the flowers would be... but that didn't work out at all! #totalfail I set those two papers aside and started again focusing on watercoloring after I die cut the paper with the design first. I posted about it HERE on Instagram.
HERE's stage two. It's looking much better than my first attempt!
I finished this card and absolutely loved the design! Best fail ever! I think Kim enjoyed it too. My mom loved it so much that she requested I make another one just like it. *It was hard to replicate but I did it for my mom! LOL!
Supplies: The Stamp Market watercolor palette, Just Add Flowers stamp set, Floral Cuts cover die

So what did I do with the first try rejects? Well... I used them for another project two weeks later! It took me that long to figure out what I wanted to do with them. The papers were watercolored teal and navy with different hues and markings. I wanted that to stand out and so I used them on a CAS white card base with a few die cuts and sentiments. EASY! And to be honest, I love how they turned out! Rejects aren't really rejects unless you throw it away. #lifelesson

This "Thank You" card was created for a sweet couple that became family to me during Covid. They took private aqua fitness classes from me to stay active before they moved back home to WI. I knew the husband loved flowers (his wife's name is Rose! LOL!), so I made a simple white embossed flower bouquet the focal point of this card design.
Supplies: The Stamp Market watercolor palette, Framed Floral, Gorgeous Greetings, Emboss ink

The navy rejected paper was big enough to make two cards! I love the bold navy with the white background.
Supplies: The Stamp Market watercolor palette, Botanical Print, Botanical Beauty die, Palm Leaf die, Navy/Slate paper and ink

I never throw anything away, and it's a good thing! These cards are some of my favorite! And I learned that rejections are not always bad; good can still come from it.

That's it for me today. I will be sharing more soon! THANKS so much for stopping by!

Be blessed ❤️

Welcome๐Ÿ

It's sooooooooooooooooooo good to be back in the studio!
I found some time this weekend to play with some watercolors. I have a special watercolored card that I will share on Friday this week- it's for one of my very very special friend's birthday! I don't want her to see it before she gets it in the mail. Stay tuned for the reveal:)
Not sure why this photo is blurry! :(

This card was super easy to whip up! I saw a pineapple embossing folder at JoAnns yesterday (only $2.50 plus 20% off!) and knew it would be perfect to create a card to welcome our new neighbors, as well as celebrate our friends and family who just moved/bought a new place.
Instructions: emboss watercolor paper, add watercolors to pineapple images, add striped washi tape to side of card (channeling my inner Samantha Mann), attach embossed/colored paper to base, die cut sentiment and stamp coordinating sentiment, attach both sentiments to card base. DONE! Simple and fun!

That's it for me today. Don't forget to stop by on Friday- I have another card to share. It took me around 3 hours to complete but it was totally worth it! LOL!

THANKS so much for stopping by!
Be blessed ❤️
