Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This is a NEW challenge that is starting every 5th week of the month. This week our challenge theme is ANYTHING GOES!!!
That's right--you get to create ANYTHING you want (as long as you use Paper Smooches stamps)!! This is the BEST challenge ever!!!

I have created three different projects for this challenge-- today I'll be sharing just one!

I made a CAS card for a friend who owns a Chick-fil-A. He invited Trav and I to attend the Mistletoe Ball this year {to help raise funds for the Homeless Coalition}. We had a great time and wanted to make a "thank you" card for our friend. Since he owns the local Chick-fil-A, I decided to use the cow from the Paper Smooches Green Acres stamp set. I paired it with some papers from the Fancy Pants Designs The Good Life {available HERE from the RC}. And to finish it off, I masked some sentiments from the Paper Smooches Word Salad stamp set. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Trav loves the cow the most:)
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends January 6th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I just LOOOOOVE my Paper Smooches stamps!!! AND--I just got the new January release in the mail the other day-- oh my oh my! I just love them!

Momenta Tag/Bag

Hello, friends:}

I have another Momenta creation to share today!

My Dad contacted me earlier this month asking if I had any gift ideas for my Mom. I didn't have to think long about that! I know how much she loves to quilt and sew. I told him that I had a sewing machine that was brand new and he could give it to Mom (she has never had a computerized sewing machine before--I know she is going to LOVE it!!!)!

While I waited for him to give me the go-ahead for shipping, I created a quick tag/bag for a special pack of fabrics that I picked up to add as a surprise for Mom. I used some of my FAV Momenta papers, stickers, and alphas. I also love that vellum sticker-- it's actually from a "birthday" themed sticker pack.
To finish, I added some vintage seam binding {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel}. LOOOOOOVE
**ETA: My Mom called me as soon as she opened her package--she was SUPER excited! I knew it:)

EASY Smeasy!!!

Hello, friends:}

I have the EASIEST creation to share today! I love these new invites from Momenta.

Trav and I are having our friends over for a party and wanted to make it "official" with a beautiful card/invite.

I don't have time to create fancy 3 hour invites...so I popped these in the printer and in less than 3 minutes they were complete! And they look fancy! I love it! There is a template on the Momenta website with easy instructions that makes this project quick and effortless! LOVE x10!
**NOTE: we had a bit of a problem with the name of the party because I had originally scheduled it to be on Wed. Jan. 2...but two out of the group couldn't make it. So I had to change to Tuesday which is the official New Year. I know this makes no sense....but I ended up calling our party "The New Year New Year's party that used to be on Wednesday and now on Tuesday party"! LOOOOOVE

Be sure to stop by the Momenta shop and Facebook page. You can also check them out on Pinterest!

Crafting with Kates and DT creations

Hello, friends:}

I had to wait until after the holidays to share these photos-- just to make sure the recipients of these crafty goodies didn't see them before Christmas;)

Kates came over for some crafty fun and she whipped up several Christmas cards for family members. On two of her cards, she used some of my FAV Mama Elephant stamps {Believe in Magic and Polar Pals}. SOOOOO cute! And on another one, she used one of my new Momenta metal crosses!! LOVE
Close up of her cards--LOVE that little penguin!

I was a bit slower when crafting on this day-- I had lots to do and no time! LOL! I created two envelopes to hold some gift certificates for our friends. I used my new Momenta Christmas papers and alphas! I love the brown alphas with the Christmas tree paper!!!
And that snowflake with the Whisker Graphics divine twine {Green Apple and Blueberry} matches the paper perfectly!
I hope that you had a wonderful holiday with friends and family! I'll be back tomorrow with more Momenta goodness!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Your comments and visits make my day! Tons of love!! Be blessed:}

Knowing the Real Reason for Celebrating

Hello, friends:}

Merry CHRISTmas!!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday--remembering the reason for the season:)

Last year, Olsen was caught staring at our nativity scene below the Christmas tree. I love that even HE knows the REASON for celebrating!!!
This year we changed up our decorations---we also had our sweet friends, The Nunez family, come over to check out our Christmas lights and decorations. We snapped this picture of the kids looking at the nativity. PRECIOUS!! These KIDS really do know the REASON for the season!! LOVE!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS!!!!

I'll be back soon! Many blessings and Merry CHRISTmas:}

Paper Smooches SPARKS Dec. Picture Perfect Challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The fourth week of the month is always a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:
I was inspired by several things in this photo--- the design of simple squares/rectangles, the white center canvas, the colors, and the typography. I used several Paper Smooches stamps including Word Salad, Simply Said, Alphadot, Graffiti, Christmas Sampler, and Warm Hearts to create my typograpy design. I thought these colors were perfect for a Christmas card!! The papers are from the My Mind's Eye All Is Bright {available HERE at the RC}. LOVE this simple card!!
Not sure you can see the sentiment well--- "Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men". I wanted to make this white on white....but it didn't work out! LOL! I also wanted to use the two blue hues in the photo for this card so I made the sentiment different colors.
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends December 30th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I just LOOOOOVE my Paper Smooches stamps!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
