That's right--you get to create ANYTHING you want (as long as you use Paper Smooches stamps)!! This is the BEST challenge ever!!!

I am trying to catch up this holiday weekend, so I'm using a card that I created back in August but never shared. It was for Trav's mom/dad on their anniversary- Happy Anniversary, Kevin & Lori! Here's too 100+ more years of wedded bliss! Ecc. 4:12b ❤️

I used simple supplies- ink from IMAGINE Crafts, white twine, Mint cardstock by Simon Says Stamp, some vellum and My Mind's Eye On Trend patterned papers, and the PS Good Gab set along with the Hearts and Single Rose dies. This card was inspired by a card on the Paper Smooches blog on August 11th- I wrote in the comments that I would CASE it! LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

Paper Smooches SPARKS: August Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

I think that there are lots of different things you could be inspired by from this photo. I needed something simple--- so I went with the apples:)

Talk about using OLD papers... this paper pad is from K & Co. back in 2010 (at least)! I don't mind though because now I can link this up to my Sav Challenges:) LOOOOOOOVE it!
I used a few Paper Smooches stamp sets including Falling For You and Many Thanks. I also used two chevrons from the Borderlicious set. LOVE that set so much! I also die cut the sentiment (a couple of times) using the PS Thanks Word die (LOOOOOOOVE- I think I could use this on almost EVERY card!! LOL!) and the Fancy Frames Icons dies. Add a bit of MME enamel dots and this card was DONE! Well... I did add a bit of Imagine Crafts/Tuskineko black pico embellisher on my sentiment.

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends August 15th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I actually can't wait to see what you are inspired by in this photo!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

My favorite parts are the mustache wash tape and splatters (made with Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko irRESISTible texture spray). LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out! OH! DING DING! I get MORE points because this also follows my challenges of making more masculine bday cards! LOVE it:)

Paper Smooches SPARKS July Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

Well..... I really wanted to used the stripes and jars as my inspiration... and that super cute tag! But my card ended up CAS and then inspired by the jar (75%), the stripes (15%), and the pink jar (10%).

I love this simple card! It's so fun! I used some My Mind's Eye enamel dots along with My Little Shoebox alphas. The straw (from the PS Crystal Clear set) was stamped with Tsukineko Radiant Neon Electric Coral ink. I finished the sentiment using a stamp from PS Bold Buzzword. LOOOOOOOVE-- it's simple and so fun!
Uh... I don't really like these photos...so I tried to get a better pic....
Maybe this photo isn't any better! OY! I really need to learn how to work with storms, sunshine, lights, etc! LOL!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love.

Hello, friends:)

*Giveaway details below:)

I'm joining in the fun with the Neat & Tangled group for a super fun hop featuring the Photo Booth and Sunday School Songs stamp sets.

I've created two fun cards for today's hop--- this first one is SUPER CAS and perfect for our newest edition to the family, Samy! Trav and I have sponsored another child from India through Compassion International. Look at how cute Samy is! I wanted to make him a special card to let him know that Jesus loves ALL (all children and all people) in the world and these papers by My Mind's Eye along with the Neat & Tangled Sunday School Songs set were the perfect match for this card! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
I cut this sentiment and song into several pieces so I could customize this card. I love how this sentiment turned out:)
My second card was super easy to make- not CAS but still easy:) I used a Kelly Purkey stencil and Dreamweaver embossing paste to create the background. I even smudged it with my finger to make it have a softer edge. LOVE! I used some Becky Higgins Project Life Baby Edition journaling cards for my patterned papers. LOVE x100000! And then I added that super fun Neat & Tangled Sunday School Songs sentiment--- great song and great verse to remember! There is NOTHING God can't do:)

That's it for me today, and I'm the last on the list! So be sure to stop by the Neat & Tangled blog for more inspiration and details! ***If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Neat & Tangled blog or scroll down on my post;)
