UPDATE: We are currently installing cabinets in my studio!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited! I will share photos on October 4th 😁
I created a bible journaling page (actually it's a clear transparency tip-in that I created using PS heart stamps/white ink) using the NEW Mini Cross die, along with many other PS stamps/dies. I have about four projects that I want to make using this die!! I love how this cross can be used to make a pattern (that's one idea), and then I have another idea for an ornament... MORE to come!

For this page, I wanted to focus on how Christ is the greatest gift during Christmas. I used some Bella Blvd. Holly Jolly papers, as well as Fancy Pants Childish Things alphas. I loved using the Xyron sticker maker to attach all the smaller details and items for this page like the eyelet for the tag, the back tag, and patterned paper strips. I used the Xyron adhesive runner to attach the larger pieces of paper.

Other PS stamps/dies include: Sweet HeartsCaptured MomentsBirthday SamplerEnchanted ElvesBoxed Greetings (new)Mini Cross die (new)Gift Tags, and Religious Words 2. I told you that I used A LOT of PS stamps/dies for this page 😜
Be sure to stop by the PS blog for details about this blog hop and giveaway! And don't forget to leave some love on the DT's blogs:) Please stop by the Xyron page {HERE} to check out their projects too

That's it for me today- THANK YOU so much for stopping by! Be blessed!

Still without a studio... so I had to make a quick and simple card. Actually, to be honest, this card took almost three hours! I was thinking of a completely different design and that's what took so long! I wanted to make a super modern and cute baby card for my friend's shower that's coming up. ***I hope she isn't reading this or checks my social media before her party! I used the following PS stamps/dies: PointersNew BeginningsChilly Chums.

This fun little necklace is from The Vintage Honey Shop. I'm not sure how I found them, but I love their product and love giving these as gifts to new mothers. These necklaces can be worn by mothers, fathers, and even just for normal wear!! This one in particular is for a nursing mother or a teething child. I hope she loves it!

That's it for me today! I hope you will join in in the fun before it's too late! You could win a $50 gift certificate to the PS store! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and play along.

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

CardMaker Magazine + Quitefire Designs blog hop

Hello, friends!

I'm so excited to be participating today in a blog hop with the CardMaker Magazine blog team featuring Quietfire Design. You should have arrived here today from the Diana's blog.

I used the Merry Christmas Flourished Tree stamp set to create a chalkboard holiday greeting card. This was so simple to make (again- I need to go simple due to my studio STILL being in boxes...in the living room! My cabinets should be installed by next FRIDAY! Praise the Lord!).

I did ruin a bit of the embossed tree while rubbing ink and pencil over it to make the chalkboard look (notice parts of the embossed edges are peeled back in the close up photo above)... but I like how it turned out! I added a bit of Martha Stewart Smokey Quartz glitter to add a bit of pop for the start topper!

I am STILL without a studio and created this card by searching through boxes and crafting at a our newly refinished table (which I have already scratched 😩). Crafting without my studio has been hard, but surprisingly this card design turned out super cute! I think:)

I pulled out some of Pebbles Woodland Forest 6x6 papers, some Wink of Stella glitter, and used the following PS stamps/dies: Woofers & TweetersAutumn Groves. I absolutely love love love this pup with his houndstooth sweater and plaid scarf! LOL! Soooooo adorable!
That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a $50 gift certificate to the PS store! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and play along:)

Hello, friends! And welcome to my newest friends who might be stopping by from the CardMaker blog!!!

Today I'm sharing a cardmaking tip that I learned from Carol Duvall from WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the day! This tip might be old, but it's one I use for many projects.

If you want to know how to unstick your stickers or how to level up a CAS card (I kind of share a couple of bonus tips for adding more to CAS cards), check out how I do it on the CardMaker blog- click HERE!

Here's a sneak peek:)

CardMaker Magazine + Spellbinders blog hop

Hello, friends!
I'm so excited to be participating today in a blog hop with the CardMaker Magazine blog team featuring Spellbinders. You should have arrived here today from the CardMaker blog blog.
I used the September Large die set for my card today. My studio is still under construction due to my cabinets not being installed earlier this month, and then we had a little delay with Hurricane Irma stopping by the last three days with heavy rain and wind gusts.... so this card was created literally using pieces of paper and embellishments that I could find at the top of boxes!
The papers and embellishments are from the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic collection. The die set has been cut from white and vellum paper and then I made it smaller by die cutting a second time on both papers. I could have easily just cut it free handed, but I love that this die piece creates a finished edge. So I die cut the original image and then moved the die cut piece one section down (matching up the image and die cut). I only needed to cut off one section for this to fit on my card. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Move paper back one section to cut a finished edge and smaller die cut piece.

Sonshine Stamp Co: Hurricane Irma and a bit of encouragement

Hello, friends:)

Today is my day to post and share on the Sonshine Stamp Co. blog HERE
I'm sharing bit of a different post because

  1. my studio is STILL in boxes (looooooooooong story)
  2. our house has recently had hurricane shutters installed as we wait the arrival of Hurricane Irma (and Jose and Katia)
I wanted to take this time to share on the SSC blog my story of living through a Category 4 hurricane in 2004 and how to get through tough times {the storms of life}. Storms are not easy... but if we redirect our focus back on God, then we have nothing to worry about! He is in control! He is sovereign! He's with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by! And THANKS for praying for us! Be blessed!

Sonshine Stamp Co: August RECAP

Hello friends:)

Today I'm sharing my Sonshine Stamp Co. bible journaling pages/projects/ideas that I made and shared this past month!

I had so much fun creating these pages and projects! I am so thankful to be on this team- it encourages me to dive into the Word more!

August 7: Tips and Tricks For Storing Stamps (still moving... I needed a quick post)
August 17: Psalm 119:103 Sweet Words To Taste (inspiration for prayer from Full by Asheritah CiuCiu)
This is actually an interactive page!!!!!!! Flip the third ice cream over (connect the magnets) to reveal a fun embellishment that I created using a piece from a straw decoration!

August 27: God's Characteristics/Attributes [part 2] (See original post HERE)

I've found lots of God's names, characteristics, and attributes in James MacDonald's book, Gripped by the Greatness of God---- I highly recommend this book! I used blue paint for this selection of characteristics because the book is blue:) That way I remember where I found it!
This page is part of my original series- I finally finished memorizing the third attribute and can start memorizing this one about God being my shepherd, YHWH ROEH (Roi).
That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by ❤️   I hope you have a blessed day!
