NEW Paper Smooches challenge- November 2015

Hello, friends:}

Today we start the NEW Paper Smooches monthly challenge. The challenge for November is...... GOLD

I've got at least 10 different designs that I will be sharing throughout the month of November (that's if I have enough energy after our trip to Paris this week to create them all! LOL!).

The challenge is to incorporate GOLD somewhere on your project (glitter, embossing, gold paper, jewelry, etc).
For this card, I created an inlaid die cut sentiment (Paper Smooches Quote Tags and Kudos Words die sets) using textured gold paper. I used my ICT Radiant Neon and Memento inks to watercolor a Blossoming Buds image on vellum paper. This was actually a simple card to create and yet it has to much detail--- LOVE
That's it for me today! I hope you will join in the fun--- you could win a $50 gift certificate to the PS store!!! Be sure to stop by HERE to link up and to play along!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Virtual Smooches: TCS #3 (Trav's Card Style)

Hello, friends:}

Today's my day to share a video over on the  Paper Smooches video blog- Virtual Smooches

I'm getting ready for a quick trip up north to visit my family and see my brother's best friend (he's like a brother to us) get married! I was a bit occupied with other projects too...so this video is QUICK:)

If you follow me... you know the following:
  • I am usually behind
  • I am always busy
  • I don't do clean and simple
That being said... I am behind/busy and needed a quick card for a friend who just lost her mom. This was the perfect time to try the TCS (Trav's Card Style) technique!

Here's a sneak peek of my video:

Reverse Confetti- SFYTT#6

Hello, friends:}

Last week over on the Reverse Confetti blog you will find the NEW Sketch For You To Try challenge. Be sure to stop by the RC blog for more inspiration and details!

Like always- I kind of changed this sketch! I didn't use a long rectangle.... I used twine in that spot. And I layered more than one medium sized square in the center, and I used a colored clip as the circle. I think these changes make this card AMAZING:) I do love it!

I have a stack of paper pads on my desk and to get started on this card... I literally just picked on pad and started cutting! I love the end result:) The papers are from the Pebbles Seen & Noted collection. LOVE! I used a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Count Your Rainbow stamp set. I added some Imaginisce iRocks and Whisker Graphics Black Licorice divine twine. I looooooooove this card:)
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and challenge details! **This sketch is open for 2 weeks-- from November 1 to the 14th. One winner will receive the next entire stamp release!!  **NOTE: We originally stated that you must play with Reverse Confetti stamps to win; however, we are allowing “anything goes” until the end of the year. Note, that we will be adding this requirement in January. There will be a winner each month- receiving a $20 gift certificate to the RC store and the claim to "Fetti Fave". The winner will be announced on the 15th.

And stop by the RC Facebook page and "like" us!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS October Trend Watch challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!!

The first week of the month is always a TRENDS WATCH challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following photo:
I was worried that I didn't have any "lace" for this project and wanted to go shopping... but upon further inspection of my "craft store" in my closet (see THIS video for more info), I found two beautiful lace ribbons! HOOOOOOORAY that I actually had lace.... BOOOOOOOOOO to not being able to go shopping:)

I needed a birthday card for Trav's Gran, so I matched up some of these lace ribbons with my new 6x6 Pebbles Walnut Grove papers. LOOOOOVE how this turned out! I actually followed an OLD Paper Smooches sketch for this card. I used a pretty sentiment from the Paper Smooches Salutations set and then embossed the silhouette image from Pretty Momma on some corkboard. LOVE LOVE LOVE
PSSOctLace1

Mama Elephant Highlight: Big Words

Hello, friends:}

**Giveaway details below
Today the Mama Elephant design team is taking a closer look at the Big Words stamp set. Be sure to stop by the ME blog for more details and inspiration!!!

I'm trying to use up some old papers from my stash (if you follow my blog, you know that I'm addicted to paper!!!) so I pulled out some Pebbles papers and embellishments for this card. I love how I created the background by stamping a ME Big Words image in coordinating inks. I love that the patterned paper design peeks through this background stamping! I also love that little tag-- I used Pebbles embellishments, as well as ME Type It and Soiree stamps. LOVE this card x100000!
Sorry for the bright photos-- I cannot get my camera or photos to look right this week!
That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by all of the ME DTs' blogs and the ME blog for more inspiration and details. **New ME Stamps are available NOW!!!

Reverse Confetti and a sketch

Hello, friends:}

I had some more time this week to get creative with my Reverse Confetti's Peacock Pretties stamps and decided to play along with the Wanna Sketch challenge {which is a sketch designed by my amazing friend, Lisa Arana}!!

I guess I went overboard (like normal) on this sketch-- I'm not even sure if you can tell I followed it! I'm not very CAS... so I used lots of layers and stickers for my creation. I used some old Pebbles papers along with the RC sentiment (which I masked) for this fun card. I love the triple HELLO on the tag!!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE. **Also, be sure to check out the "Fetti Finds" each week on the RC blog! You might see your creation shared:)

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}
