2026: Does It Surprise You...

Hello, friends!
Does it surprise you... that I had to make ANOTHER sypmathy card!? 😭

My friend lost her mom about a month ago. I knew her mom's FAVORITE color was purple, so I pulled out my purple papers, an old rose die, and my FAVORITE sympathy stamp set to create a simple card to express my condolences (see supply list below).

I've said it before, and I'll say it again- sympathy cards are usually kept for years by loved ones. I use TapeRunner adhesive to help make my card designs last for a long time! I want this card to bring comfort and peace as they remember their loved ones.
That's it for me today.

THANKS so much for stopping by! MORE to come πŸ’Œ

Be blessed ❤️

2026: SSSIGChallenge - Create a Scene [Card #160]

I'm back, sweet friends!
I will not lie- when I saw the Simon Says Challenge theme for this month... I cried! I guess that's why this is a "challenge"!!!

I do not make scenes! I just don't! I think it's because it's just too hard for me to figure out how to make a scene. I guess there shouldn't be excuses, but there are🀣

However, I thought about this challenge (in all the senses of the meaning), and I got creative! I had these Erin Lee Creative stencils and created a fun beach scene/sky! I think this works for the challenge! LOL!

That's it for me today.

2026: (sigh) Another Sympathy Card [Card #139-140]

Hello again, sweet friends!
(sigh) When you see this Erin Lee Creative stamp set on my desk, you *know* I have to make MORE sympathy cards😞

I used my TapeRunner adhesive to attach the kraft cardstock to the cardbase, as well as the embossed cardstock to the front panel.
I know that sympathy cards are usually saved for years as family members remember their loved one and there is only ONE adhesive I would use to help my cards stay strong for a long time--- TapeRunner adhesive.
I pray that this sympathy card brings comfort today and always to our sweet friend who lost her mother a week ago❤️

That's it for me today.

2026: Watercolor + TapeRunner + MORE Sympathy Cards

Hello again, sweet friends!
I'm back to share MORE creations... unfortunately, I needed to make MORE sympathy cards (again).

I wanted to try something new for these designs. I was inspired by a craft that my Mom, older brother, and his family helped me create during their spring break (MORE on that soonπŸ‘€)- watercoloring!

I watercolored some background pieces and used them behind some die cut cover pieces. What really surprised me is that the TapeRunner adhesive was strong enough to hold the watercolor paper to the cardbase. If you have worked with watercolors before, then you know it warps the paper/etc. But all of the TapeRunner adhesive did it's job and held strong!!!!

I used the TR pink adhesive on the first card, and the TR retractable adhesive on the second set. I used adhesive on the cardbase, watercolor panel, and die cut cover panel! I'm really loving that retractable adhesive- it's so easy to use! Just click and adhere!

I loooooooooooove how these turned out. I pray that they bring comfort and peace to our friends during this difficult time ❤️

That's it for me today.

2026: MORE Sympathy Cards

Hello again, sweet friends!

I'm back with MORE sympathy cards- I had the watercolor papers on my desk... and I thought I might as well use the scraps to make even MORE sympathy cards. I have been using a lot of these cards lately☹️
I made a few more that had very similar backgrounds and colors. I just love this color combo! LOVE LOVE LOVE
I just love the soft watercolor background with the vellum and colored cardstock foilage- this is probably the MOST color I've used on a sympathy card. I might have to start using MORE color:)

That's it for me today.

2026: TapeRunner + YourPaperInsider Box 14 Purple Sympathy Cards [card #079-082]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I've been MIA because I spent a week with my family here in SC while they were on Spring Break- it was so much fun! I can't wait for them to come back and visit again! **You will see a few photos of my family while they were here SOON- they helped me finish a project:)

I was able to get into the studio again today, but unfortunately, I needed to make three sympathy cards😭 I do not like making these cards- it breaks my heart! But I'm hoping that these cards bring comfort and peace as they remember their loved one ❤️

I used some of the purple cardstock from the YourPaperInsider Box 14 papers- they added just the right amount of purple with this watercolor patterned paper design! I love that velum- it's so soft and yet deep with the purple hue! *See supply list below for specific papers used!

I also used my FAVORITE TapeRunner adhesive- I loooooooooooooove my TR adhesive! It's so smooth, easy to apply, and can be used on almost any piece of your card [see THIS post on how I add adhesive from a TapeRunner to a SMALL die cut letter].
These cards look simple but have layers and dimension because of the YPI papers and using the TR adhesive for all layers!

That's it for me today. Unfortunately, I think I need to make MORE sympathy cards so I can stock up my stash... be on the lookout for MORE designs soon πŸ‘€

2025: Wise Men [card #338]

Hello again, sweet friends!
I had some time before leaving to create a quick card that focuses on a very important detail of why the Wise Men sought Jesus--- it's because they came to WORSHIP Him!
*Side Note: The wise men didn't come when Jesus was BORN... they came when Jesus was an infant (maybe 1-2 years old). Technically the wise men were NOT a part of the manger scene.

I love that this card was easy to make and focuses on worshiping Jesus. LOVE LOVE LOVE

That's it for me today.

2025: Emmanuel [card #312]

Hello again, sweet friends!

**Do not mind the very BLUE photo! I cannot figure out my camera settings and the natural sun right now! OY!

When I make my holiday cards, I love focusing on the REAL meaning of CHRISTmas. The NEW Erin Lee Creative holiday release is the PERFECT way tot add Christ into my Christmas cards!

This CAS Christmas card focusses on why Christ came- He is Emmanuel, God with us! Praise the LordπŸ™ŒπŸ»

I think my supplies for this card are more complex than the card design itself πŸ€£ I mixed and matched a few companies including:
I wish I could have captured this card better- that Mai Tai Cocktail Shimmer paper is sooooooooo beautiful with this dark (it doesn't look dark but it is! LOL!) navy! This just shines the LIGHT! It points straight to CHRIST! I love it!

That's it for me today.
