Paper Smooches: January 2020 RECAP

Paper Smooches: Halloween + My FIRST Time Coloring

Hello friends:)

I'm super excited to share a card today- it's my FIRST colored images/card!!! 

SAVfact: I do not like coloring. 
SAVfact: I do not like Halloween. 

But somehow... someway... today's card features both! :) 

This card was actually created for Paper Smooches' September release. I used the NEW Best Witches stamps and dies, along with the Hallloweenies stamps, Halloween Icons, and lots of Copic markers! 

My theory for coloring: just start! I have heard lots of talk (instructions) about how to color (from years past when I first bought my Copic markers). I tried the light colors first, layered with two darker colors, and then blended again with the light marker. I hope I colored correctly! LOL! I really did enjoy coloring- it was so fun and relaxing! 

Here's another Halloween card I created in September. I was inspired by a fun graphic. I used the Paper Smooches Best Witches stamps/dies, Birthday Sampler, and the following dies- Sassy Letters, Welcome Word, Bannerific. Thought: You would think a simple card like this would mean LESS stamps/dies! LOL!

Paper Smooches: June 2019 RECAP

Hello friends:) 

Today I'm sharing the Paper Smooches June 2019 projects that I made! My friend, Jessica, thinks these creations are a bit different than what I normally make. My thoughts: It's because I didn't use much patterned paper {my fav}!!! I don't think I've made this many cards using plain watercolor paper or cardstock. So... yup! These are different! LOL! 

Here's what I created using PS stamps and dies.

Inspired by THIS graphic- everyone loves this card! LOL! 

Inspired by THIS graphic- I hope you can tell that her hair (sunshine rays) have been combed out on one side. She's got messy hair on the right side of her face; regardless she's choosing to shine! LOL!

Masculine version using Dude Sampler and Bicycle die

Daddy Yo 2 stamps, Daddy Yo Icon dies, Topper dies

Inspired by a baby onesie someone purchased for my friend Giulia's baby shower- Splash, Beboppin, The Welcome Wagon, Dress Shirt dies, Dude dies, Christmas Words 2 dies, and Baby Bow dies

This card was inspired by a graphic for the TV show The L.A. Complex. Trav helped me figure out how to make this design with the yellow vellum shadow- Dude Sampler, Dude dies

Travis is a huge golfer and helped me design this interactive card. Also- I know that there are only 18 holes for a golf game:) I made this card for a friend's birthday- Birthday Buddies, My Guy, Sportsball, Sportsball Icons dies
