I have had a few ideas running through my mind as I prepared for this month's release. The flower images and designs are perfect for Mother's Day cards, friendship and thinking of you cards, and sympathy cards. Unfortunately, I've needed more sympathy cards this month. Good news- this card design can be mass produced quickly, as well as embellished where there are mistakes easily:)
The NEW Stemmed Roses dies set comes with three different rose and vase images. Each image could be used in the same way for this card design. I have embossed die cut images using the metal die before {click HERE for a video tutorial}, but this is the first time I dry embossed and embossed the same image all at once (a technique called Embossed Impressions by Jennifer McGuire). Clean and simple.
I will admit that I made some mistakes while creating a set of these cards 🙃 To cover up my crooked embossed image or extra embossing powder that I missed, I added black thread and gold sequins. Still a clean and simple card.
