H{ippity} Hop...and May giveaway!

***May Giveaway deets at the BOTTOM!

Hello, friends:}

So glad to be back in the swing of things...I'm in the H{ippity} Hop again today! HOOORAY! I've used my Ippity stamps on two projects this weekend.

This first card I created for my student, Nick. He is the sweetest! He had a band concert, and I wanted to let him know that I was proud of him! And that I support music--so I used my Ippity music stamp from Music of My Heart for the background. I couldn't help but pair that with Unity's Oct. and Feb. KOTM stamps--Love this card! It is only 2 inches by 3 inches! Super cute:) Just like Nick!
This next project is an ongoing calendar. The story:: When I was growing up and it was time to decorate the Christmas tree [I know--Christmas? Already?]...my mom and dad would invite my granny/gramps down for the "yearly ornaments". We would put different ornaments on that had specific years on them (you know--from Hallmark), but as we did that Mom would read from a book all the happenings of that year {deaths, births, houses that were bought or sold, graduations, etc.--anything that happened in the family}. Fast-forward--Trav and I have been keeping track of things that have happened since we started dating (in May 2005), but the notes were in a silly little book. So I decided to make calendars for each year so I could quickly write down what happened that month and put it back. I love it! I love this tradition...and I love my books! This is my first one (I'll show the rest probably later this week...or next Monday). This calendar is for 2010. So I will be up-to-date (instead of in a regular old notebook). I love the feathers and gems--the perfect stamp for this was from Ippity's Life's Little Moments set. LOVE it!

I have a favor to ask....if you have 60 seconds to spare...hop on over to THIS site and vote for my friend, Laura. She has written a book, and a little British girl narrates it (SUPER cute!). Every time you watch the video...that counts as a vote! Thanks for the help!

Well...it's that time again--MAY GIVEAWAY! We are super duper close to 100 followers! If you haven't already followed--go ahead and click on FOLLOW on the sidebar. If you are a follower--thank you so much! So I will have a giveaway when we hit 100...and like 113...or 137....so there are lots of possibilities for giveaways by following! I will also be holding a May giveaway. This will be for an Ippity set that hasn't even been released! HOOOORAY! Rules for giveaway:: just leave comments on ANY post during the month of May! I always try to post everyday [or at least 6 out of 7 days]....so that would give you 31 chances!

And to sweeten the deal today--leave a comment about my stuff today...then hop over to Laura's book video [60 second video]...and leave a comment for her on my blog! {This post only!} That means you could leave 2 comments today! HOOORAY:) Double your chances--so leave two comments!

Thanks again for stopping by! Love sharing with you--love Ippity and Unity! Be blessed:}
Love, Sav

ps...we have a winner! Thanks to all of you who sent blessings to my brother, Carrel on Friday! **NOTE:: He is a farm boy--and was shocked at how many of you left him some birthday love!!! Thanks for making his day special! Of those comments, here is the winner of some paper, ribbons, and other embellie goodies:::
