CardMaker Magazine + Spellbinders blog hop

Hello, friends!
I'm so excited to be participating today in a blog hop with the CardMaker Magazine blog team featuring Spellbinders. You should have arrived here today from the CardMaker blog blog.
I used the September Large die set for my card today. My studio is still under construction due to my cabinets not being installed earlier this month, and then we had a little delay with Hurricane Irma stopping by the last three days with heavy rain and wind gusts.... so this card was created literally using pieces of paper and embellishments that I could find at the top of boxes!
The papers and embellishments are from the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic collection. The die set has been cut from white and vellum paper and then I made it smaller by die cutting a second time on both papers. I could have easily just cut it free handed, but I love that this die piece creates a finished edge. So I die cut the original image and then moved the die cut piece one section down (matching up the image and die cut). I only needed to cut off one section for this to fit on my card. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Move paper back one section to cut a finished edge and smaller die cut piece.
