Today I've combined two of my posts/projects--I used the NEW SCRS image with my Momenta Butterfly Garden papers. I think that this image and patterned papers go well together! Momenta is sponsoring the CPS sketch challenge this week (you can read about that in my other post HERE). **I'm getting better at changing very little on sketch challenges! For this sketch--I changed the shape and sizes of the panels! I made this card with a special family in mind--my cousin and his wife are expecting their FIRST child:) CONGRATS, Tommy and Amy!!!!
Close-up of my paper piecing-- LOVE!

FWF--LOTS of pics and info about a giveaway!

Hello, friends:}

It's Friday--which means FWF over on the Unity blog!! Be sure to stop HERE for a complete list of participants!! We sure do love all your comments and support!

I've got lots to share with you...so hang in there! Plus--I've got some news at the bottom for next week! Giveaways....just saying!!!

My first creation was inspired by the FWF72 card by Ashley Newell [on the left]. I was inspired by her colors and simplicity of the card. I was actually skyping/crafting with Ashley when I made this card! She helped me out--I was flustered because my misting didn't work and she helped me "regroup" and create this beauty!! Also--I found out that Ashley does not like embossing--which I did for the blooms {Unity: Wayword Blooms} and the butterfly {Unity: Small Things Matter Most}. I just love that teal embossing--I just got 12 new colors! And the sentiment is from Unity: Encompassed Grace}. The white around the embossed blooms is a technique that I read about over on SCS. I used my finger instead of a tissue **NOTE:: I cannot think of what this technique is called! Sorry! LOVE how this turned out!
My next card is a special birthday card for a friend! She loves my cards--and I knew this year I had to make something extra fun! I used the Card Positioning Systems sketch for my design. I also used my new S.E.I. Happy Day papers. I inked a lot of Unity stamps:: sentiment  and heart {To The Moon & Back}, butterfly and sentiment {Small Things Matter Most}, clouds {Could I Be Any Cuter?}, tag {Togetherness Icons}, tickets {Simply Magical}. Whew! That was a lot of stamping--and of course, I think of this AFTER the Stamping Royalty challenge ends over at Paper Crafts! That is how It works! LOL!

For my last card, I used the inspiration photo for Cupcake Inspirations. I have missed playing along with them! Love these super cute animals and gnome cupcakes! I used Unity's Autumn Pals stamps for this card. I paper pieced everything--and that tree trunk is made of cork. I love the distressed tag--makes it a bit softer with that bright red paper {Bo Bunny Ad Lib}.

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by HERE for all the players this week!

And if you've made it this far.... be sure to stop by my blog next week! I'm Growing In Unity!! And I will have some giveaways for my friends, followers, and for all the comments! You won't want to miss out! LOVE Unity!!
My week::: April 17-23
Be sure to stop back here and leave comments! LOTS of giveaways!

EIC #101 {Lover Dover's Handmade Goodness}

Hello, friends:}

WOW!! I cannot believe how many EtsyInspired players we had last week-- 105 players!! THANK YOU so much! I loved all your creations!! **NOTE:: I have to say that I think it is super awesome that my friend, Traci, was #100 on the 100th challenge!! That is so cool to make it over 100!!! LOVE IT:}

Well, this week--we have ANOTHER FAB Etsy store::: Lover Dover's Handmade Goodness! And they carry some amazing GOODNESS! She makes aprons and children's dresses! ACK--so cute!! And our sponsor this week is Sassy Studio Designs! This week's winners will receive either::: a free apron from Lover Dover's or 4 free digital stamps from Sassy Studio Designs!

For my first card, I was inspired by this little girl's dress! Look at those stripes with polka dots! And that pink just pops!! So I used my Sassy Studio Designs digital stamp {Reading Rachel} to make a fun card. I paper pieced Rachel and used glossy accents on her PJs (I think that is what she is wearing). The stamped image is from Unity's Life Becoming stamp set. LOVE this card!! Oh--look closely--her hair has gold highlights! LOL!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this next card! I was inspired by this purple and orange apron! I looooooooooove it! I used the CPS sketch for this week, as well as the theme for the Ippity Challenge {summer}. I looooooooove this card--I used Ippity's A Bit of Burlap, Fall For You {bird}, and A Moment In Time {circle} stamps. I made the banners just by cutting them and gluing them on the string/hemp. I absolutely love how this card turned out! Possibly one of my FAVS!!
That's all for me today--but be sure to stop by all the other talented EIC DT's blogs!! They are going to knock your socks off!

Julie Ranae {August Guest DT}

Don't forget--this challenge ends on Friday, August 20th at noon Pacific Time. I cannot wait to see what you make--and I cannot wait to go shopping at Lover Dover's! Those aprons just make me want to cook or bake:}

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I love being inspired with EIC challenges!! And I love sharing them with you! Be blessed:}
