Today the Avocado Arts Pit Crew have created some amazing projects to share with you! We all used the new AA February stamp set. Be sure to stop by the AA blog for more information and LOTS more inspiration!

I've already created two cards using this stamp set {HERE and HERE}. I just can't get enough of that little owl! For my project today, I made a simple gift card holder for a friend. The sentiment and owl are from the AA February kit. LOOOOOOOOVE! I love those papers--perfect for this gift card holder!

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps challenge #72 post1

Congratulations to the Giants for winning the Super Bowl....they did win, right?

I'm super excited to share my creation today--I made it for the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps challenge #72--football theme! I'm not a fan of football, or sports in general, but I looooove my card!  For more information on this challenge, click HERE! 

Like I said earlier....super bowl??? What? I had to call Travis to see who was playing at the super bowl because I went to "search" the internet and couldn't find the names of the teams! **Ok--another confession....I cannot search the internet! I can never find what I'm looking for! LOL! I used some of my Bella Blvd. sports themed papers and stickers {Making the Team} for this card. I love how they coordinate together! I also used my SCRS Football Josh image--paper pieced the entire thing (including his helmet and shoes!). And of course...my ribbon {black seam binding} came from The Ribbon Carousel. LOVE the final product! GO TEAM! **Notice that I said TEAM--that's because I don't know who to cheer for:)

Paper Made Bakery Feb. kit and tutorial

Hello, friends:}

I've got another Paper Made Bakery  project to share today--I've got at least three more creations to share this month!!! Can't wait to show you what I've been creating/designing! I used my PMB February kit {available HERE} for this simple card. I also created a photo tutorial sharing how to color the pearls that are included in this kit. 

I just love this kit--the patterned paper pad is one of my FAVS!!! And I love that there are SEVERAL sheets of colored cardstock for card bases! SUPER FUN! 

I wanted to create a simple card using that floral paper from the Lily Bee Designs paper pad (included in the kit--LOVE!). I used my Avocado Arts digital cut files to die cut the watering can. I also colored a white cardstock for the heart on the watering can--so fun! **I'm new to coloring! I added some of that beautiful maroon twine and some pearls. Simple!

The pearls in this February kit are white--but you can color them to match your papers or project color story. All you have to do is follow these simple steps!

Paper Made Bakery February kit RELEASE Hop

Today is a super fabulous day! It's my first Paper Made Bakery DT post--and it's the PMB's first release blog hop! SOOOOOOO fun!

This new February kit is AMAZING! You are going to LOVE it! There are papers from Lily Bee Designs and stamps from Avocado Arts!! Here are some pics of the kit!

I used several of my LBD papers and that sweet little AA owl for my hop card. I also used some of the embellishments included in this kit {twine, cardstock, and a pearl}. This kit has it all!! LOVE!

PDCC #117 post1

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors are opposite of last week's colors: robin's egg, lilac, and bisque. Our sponsor this week is Melanie Muenchinger (GinaK Designer).  

Today's creation was made using lots of Webster's Pages papers. I really was stuck on these colors--I normally buy the bright and bold patterned papers. So I search through my entire paper pile, and found some that worked. I really like the simplicity of this mini card. I also used my new Hero Arts flower stamp. LOVE! Simple! 

**I cannot figure out why my photos are not turning out--oy! Sorry for a horrible pic!
