Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The second week of the month is always a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following sketches:
I love love love my card....and I think it matches 99% of this sketch!!! HOOOOORAY! **The only thing I changed were the diag papers/pieces don't go all the way across this card. But it's close enough:) Way closer than my normal creations! LOL!

I used Fancy Pants Designs The Good Life papers {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel} for this card. LOVE the color combos in this pad!!! The Paper Smooches stamp sets I used include Hot Concoctions, Alphadot, and Cyber Cafe. LOVE x10000! The center panel is a gift card holder--PERFECT for a friend who loves StarBucks!
You can kind of tell that I had a boo-boo when stamping the E!! I didn't ink it all up! I love it the way it is... kind of a happy mistake;)

Crafty Genes

Hello, friends:}

Just a quick post today!

I wanted to share with you where I get my love for crafts....this is my MOM. She is super awesome and major crafty! I remember watching her paint nature scenes as a child, and she can crochet, sew, and so much more!

Last weekend she went to a Winter Wonderland craft event to sell her table runners, scarves {look at the one she is wearing--she made it! Love it!}, and more. She also had some of my cards to sell.
Thanks, Aunt Michelle, for taking this pic! <3 i="i">

So there you have it...I get my crafty genes and craftiness from my Mom! THANKSMOM!!!

Hope you all are having a great week! I will be back with some Momenta goodness, Mama Elephant creations, and another Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge starts on Monday!!! Be sure to check out our current challenge HERE and link up before Sunday at 10:59 pm EST!!!

Whisker Graphics Projects (lots of pics)

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can also read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

I'm going to share two creations today! And I know....NEITHER are related! LOL! Well...kind of! They both have to do with my nieces and nephews;) <3 font="font">

Last month Trav and I drove 10 hours for our nephew's first birthday! I created some of the decorations using WG Air Mail divine twine. My MIL Lori helped me create this banner. We used three long pieces of twisted twine. **NOTE: Double or triple your twine to make sure it will hold the weight of your creations/photos/etc.
That red table cloth made everything RED!! LOL! I just wanted you to see some of the decorations--there are doggie balloons:)
For my second creation....YUP! You guessed it----I used my bitty bags! I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOVE the Whisker Graphics bitty bags. **NOTE:: This probably isn't "news" to you because I say this all the time!!

I created two Christmas gift holders for my nieces and nephews. I used two different bitty bags {Little Bitty Bags and Middy Bitty Bags}, along with some Holiday and Cherry divine twine. Other supplies include Echo Park Christmas This & That {available HERE from the RC}, a Paper Smooches stamp set {Party Posse}, and two alpha sets from Momenta. Here's how I created them:
That's it for me today! And be sure to stop by the Whisker Graphics blog for more inspiration. And stop by their shop too!!

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}
