H{ippity} Hop

Hello, friends, and my Ippity peeps:}

I hope you are all doing well--Happy Monday

This weekend I created three journals, baby invitations [which I will share later this week or next], baby shower games, save-the-date magnets, other challenge cards [which you can scroll down to see], and 20 cards for a friend. WHEW! For the 20 cards, I made four different designs--it was weird not making cards for challenges or color combos! I really enjoyed just making cards! The last one is in the top favorite list! FAV! It is so pretty! My friend actually asked for "simple" cards...I tried that...but I just don't remember how!! You will see the progression of simple....kind of simple...to not so simple-kind of...!!

My first card is def. CAS! I think it could fit in the Lucy's Challenge category! We were challenged to make a simple card. This card is so simple, I'm not sure how else to explain it! The background stamp is from Martha Stewart [not sure what it is called--I got it about two years ago]. The sentiment is from Ippity's  Regal Greetings set. Love the teal and black!
**Sorry this is so big--if it were smaller, you wouldn't be able to see the blue background stamp.

This next card was super easy too. I love stitching on my cards--but I decided to just use a black gelly pen to make the stitches. The sentiment is from Ippity's Just Wanted to Say set. I think my white ink is drying out--note to self:: buy more white ink. I kind of like how masculine this card is. I didn't mean to do it that way...but I like it:} I really like using kraft paper--eh! Brown? Yep! I like it!

This next card is in the Top 5! Love the design. I was inspired by Maile Belles style and card. Super cute card! So I totally CASED it. **NOTE:: Someone please tell me if I am using that word wrong! I know it means Copy And Share Everything...or not? Maybe I am using it wrong...eh! Help:} Anyway...I loved it and had to try to recreate it. I used scraps from my pile (and my fav green paper).... Ippity sentiment again. Love this card--also kind of masculine. I think it could go for anyone. Or if you really wanted a girly card...switch the papers and BAM--easy!

This card is def. one of my favs! I just couldn't do simple....so I made a sketch and then changed it several times. I ended up with this--which I saw this pic and had to use it for my new sketch. **NOTE:: Not sure who made this, but it looks Zany??? Maybe? I apologize for not giving credit to the correct person! If you know who made this and inspired me, please let me know! I would love to credit their name/blog! I used Unity's butterfly from Remember Happiness set. I love my Unity ledger and bingo stamp (also seen in the background). Ippity's Just Wanted To Say was used for the sentiment---love this set! Great for many different sentiments!  Super cute--I think!

Oh yeah--and I made this card for my friend, Susan Heneka! She will be celebrating her bday on Thursday of this week. She absolutely loves the colors red, white, and blue...and she teaches American History....so I wanted to make a patriotic card. I guess this card was kind of simple--cutting the hearts out took time...but overall, it was simple! The hearts are stamps from Ippity's Moon Beams and Heart Strings set. The sentiment is from Unity's 100% Happy and Our Stories sets. I hope she likes the card!

And here are the journals I made. A friend asked for prayer journals for herself and two little girls. Love all of these. I wanted to use more stamps on them--but the DP worked out fine. If you look closely, I used the crown from Ippity's Regal Greetings for the journal on the right. That verse (Isaiah 61:3) means a lot to me--I am in a Beth Moore study, Breaking Free. WOW! I get to wear a crown of beauty! That stamp fits perfectly!!!

And just in case you missed it--here was my Ippity challenge card for last week. You can read more about it HERE
Don't forget to head over to Ippity to check out all the other cards/projects made by talented Ippity chicks;} And don't forget to leave some love for them!!

Well...that is all for me. I'm taking a small break...just to relax...but I will be back hopefully tomorrow with more crafty goodness! Thanks so much for stopping by--love love love when you stop by!
Until next time~
Love, Sav

Great stuff!! I have been working on baby shower invitations this weekend too! Haven't decided yet on centerpieces - except for a diaper cake for the main table - maybe you'll have some good ideas I can use LOL!! Love Beth Moore studies!! I usually facilitate for a women's bible study class at church. We have done almost everything Beth Moore has out!! She really gets me diggin' in!! Sometimes when I read a particular passage I hear her voice in my head LOL!!
