H{ippity} Hop Sept. 13~ dedicated to my friend, Michelle!!

Hello, friends:}

It's H{ippity} Hop day!! I love Mondays--esp. when I can play along with the Ippity gals! I just love my Ippity stamps! I love love love them! I love anything Unity and Ippity!!

My first project was created for the Ippity “fall theme” challenge last week. I love love love this card--it turned out super cute! And I used four different Ippity stamp sets:: leaves {Devoted}, trees {So This Is Love}, sentiment {Life’s Little Moments and Fall For You}. Just love the plaid in the back...and that bow is a new technique. I tried to make a double bow--it kind of looks like it should:) LOVE it! **NOTE:: This card was featured yesterday on the Ippity site! THANKS, Eryn!!  This card is also good for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge [stitching].
This next project was paper pieced---actually, everything I do is paper pieced:} I made this for a bride. I love sharing my favorite recipes...and since I hardly ever cooked before I was married--this would have been nice to get from someone as a wedding gift. It is a small recipe book. I love these papers from October Afternoon. I used my Unity Kitchen Logic stamps with Ippity's banner from Love in Return. The sentiment was stamped with the stamps from Unity's May KOTM.  Just love how this turned out! I love the copper wire for the handle of that teapot! SO FUN! If you know of any good recipes I should include in this gift--leave me a comment!
I used the Hip Hop sketch from last week for this card, which was created for a very special friend, RUBY--who's birthday was yesterday! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this card! I love the Webster's Pages I used--I got them at Limelight! I also love that chipboard stamp. I received that in a package from CARDS magazine for being published in May. I used my distress inks to make it that beautiful orange brown color! ACK--first time doing this and I LOVE IT! I used Ippity's sentiment from the Just Wanted To Say set {such a FUN set to use for almost all occasions!!} and Unity's butterfly from Life's Becoming. LOVE it!! I can't wait until RUBY gets it in the mail {she lives in England}! **NOTE::: RUBY if you are reading this....don't look at this pic!
My last creation for today was really simple...after I messed up 4 times! I couldn't stamp that beautiful image--I guess I wasn't pushing down hard enough. I made a tag just to say thanks! I love this tag--it is so neutral with a pop of purple/pink. LOVE it! I used Ippity's Now & Always set with the sentiment from The Simple Things. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! CAS!
And it's official--it's Michelle's last H{ippity} Hop! SOOOOOOOOO sad! I still remember my first conversation with her! I told her I would be her personal secretary {which I still would love to work with you, Michelle! Just let me know if you need someone to make coffee or give you a break from answering phones!}. I just love Michelle--great friend with a kind, generous, loving, heart!! Thanks for all you have done, Michelle:} This tag is also good for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge [stitching].

That's all for me today! Love sharing my creations with you! Be sure to stop by the Ippity blog for a complete list of blogs to visit--WOW! Blown away AGAIN!

Thanks so much for all your love and support! Be blessed:}

Hello dear Sav!
Ha ha, after reading your stories with today's post, I have a slight guess that you may like Unity and Ippity stamps?! ;-) Well, I am more and more starting to share your feeling!! They are wonderful and I can't wait for my two orders - one from Unity and one from Ippity to arrive to me, 'cause I have so little collection of stamps from them now.. so more to some from me as well! Your thank you tag is really wonderful, I also lvoe those simple designs! And I love the fall feeling of the first card - very pretty! And a wonderful recipe book!
Hmm... my recipes are of course in Dutch... don't know if I can translate them... Here's a website where it's on: http://www.ah.nl/recepten/recept?id=409672&rq=rode+wijn+risotto
And if you're interested, I'll do my best in an email to translate it! It's such a delicious risotto, I love risotto and the red wine in here gives it such a wonderful taste!

Hugs & a fab day!
Wendy

I saw your card yesterday on the {ippity} blog! Congratulations, it is Beautiful!!
Love all of your creations! Thank you especially for the inspiration for the receipe book, I need to make one right now for my BFF's daughter-in-law, who doesn't cook, AND she is vegetarian.Her son is losing weight and they eat out a lot! They are also living in Turkey right now, so the ingrediants are not the same, but I told her I would give it a shot!! lol
Anyway, more infor than you probably wanted!*giggle*....

Thank you for sharing, Have a great week!

Mary

Hi Savannah!

I a so glad that I was able to stop by today! I loved looking at your card and tags and book! They are getting more and more amazing in my opinion! I fell in love with the card. I just love those trees, and those little jewels over them were, well jewels!

I really loved that Birthday Butterfly and Frame Tag...wow! It is so colorful! I just loved it! The "Thanks" tag is so pretty, too! You could write a quick note on the back, and really make someone's day.

Now that cookbook! Fabulous gift! We had a "kitchen shower" for a friend getting married. Everyone brought a recipe on a card they were given...all the same size, shape and stamped of course! They were all attached with a big ring. Great gift you made!

I miss you. Know you are a super busy woman. Who isn't? Love you. Pray for you, too!
