I went kind of CAS for today's card. I was inspired by a photo that I found on Pinterest- it was an idea for wrapping gifts... but I knew it would look awesome as a card! Everything was white and red.
I used Imagine Crafts Rocket Red ink along with the Paper Smooches A Holy Holiday stamp set. To finish my card, I stitched on the sentiment and added white enamel dots. EASY! *I think this card could definitely be mass produced!
That's it for me today! Next up--hop on over to Caroline Bredeson's amazing blog! And don't forget to leave some love for everyone and for your chance to win some fabulous goodies;)

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Limelight challenge;)

Hello, friends:}

I know I'm late for the challenge--but I had to add my card in today! I just love love love LIMELIGHT! And if you haven't been over to their store--head there now! They are closing up the shop and there are some AWESOME deals going on! I am going shopping this week {Merry Christmas, self!!}.

The challenge was to use this sketch as well as sparkle or glitter...I love this little elephant stamp {Unity Wild Crazy}. And I knew I had to use the same technique that Jennifer McGuire did with Perfect Pearls [Thanks, Laurel, for the link!!]. I love how this elephant is shimmery! In person--it is super glitzy!! I also used a sentiment from Unity's July KOTM. The letters were cut out from the cricut and then glitzed up--super easy! LOVE this sweet little card!!

That's it for me today! I am hoping to get more crafty time in this week before we leave to visit my family up in the cold tundra....or Indiana. Thanks for stopping by! Love my friends and followers! Be blessed:}

All Things Unity #16 {Cards for Kids}

Hello, friends:}

Welcome back to another 2 week challenge over at All Things Unity! This week we are making cards for Jennifer McGuire's Cards for Kids!! This card drive will help send 13 sick kids some encouragement, love, cheer, and hope. What a great cause!!

My first card was created specifically for Zach- 8 years old. He looks so sweet in his pic! I wanted to personalize his card with his initial, so I used my Cricut for the letter Z. I also stamped Ippity's Book It! and Unity's Garden Variety tag. I masked this tag, as well as the sentiment from Unity's May 10 KOTM. Love how this turned out! So FUN--and boy-ish!! Hope he likes it:} This also fits in with the USCWCMD16 challenge by Stephanie [use a tag]. I'm loving using these tags on cards!! SO FUN!!!
My next card was created for any of the kids--and it is perfect for the USCWCMD17 challenge by Maria [NO patterned paper]. I have had this idea for awhile...and Cathy [our wonderful GDT] did something like this before! Great minds think alike!! I love this bird stamp from Unity's August 10 KOTM. I stamped it twice on the card base and then glittered one of the birds. Making it "one of a kind". The sentiment is from Unity's May KOTM [u and r] and 100% Happy. I embossed the word "kind" and then added glitter to make it pop! Love it!! LOVE how this card turned out:} And who would have thought--NO patterned paper!
My last card is my absolute favorite. I think it could be for any of the kids (maybe just a girl...since the colors are soft and pretty). I just LOOOOOOOOVE how this color theme and stamp set came together. I used Unity's What a Hoot! stamp set for the owl and branch/leaves. I paper pieced each of the images [making this card an entry for the USCWCMD01 challenge by AJ]. LOVE that owl!! So pretty! I also used Ippity's Sweet Thoughts of You stamp set for the sentiment. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I can't wait to send this to one of the kids!!
That's it for me--but make sure to check out the other ATU DT members' blogs!! You are going to love these cards--so fun and perfect for little ones!!
