Paper Smooches SPARKS Dec. Designer Drafts

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week we are sharing a DESIGNER DRAFT challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following sketch:
**Sentiments can be placed anywhere on the sketch.

My card is very simple-- based on the sketch as well as THIS layout by Janna Werner. LOVE her style! And I thought this layout would be perfect for this sketch. I used the diag design for the left panel, and the vellum and little note as the two center panels. I did move the green strip down and used alphas. So I think I followed this sketch.... maybe 80%! LOL!

I created a graduation card for someone that should be graduating from college in May! I can't wait to share who that is:) I used the Hey Boy paper collection by Basic Grey along with vellum paper and washi tape. I stamped the male image from the Paper Smooches Off the Charts on the reverse side of the vellum to create a soft gray design. I also used the sentiment from the PS Chart Topper set. LOOOOOOVE how simple this card is! Thanks for the inspiration, Janna;)
Tsukineko: Memento Gray Flannel, Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends December 28th. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

Today over on the Reverse Confetti blog you will find the NEW Sketch For You To Try challenges. Be sure to stop by the RC blog for more inspiration and details!

As you might have guessed... I made this sketch my own! Typical Sav:)
Instead of using two rectangles at that bottom... I used part of the RC Dream in Color sentiment with Thicker alphas, along with some American Crafts Dear Lizzy/Neapolitan papers. I really love how this card turned out-- super sweet and simple! To finish my card, I used some gems and the two heart stamps from the RC I Like You set. LOVE
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and challenge details! **This sketch is open for 2 weeks-- from June 1 to the 14th. One winner will receive the next month's entire stamp release!!

Tag Toppers with Whisker Graphics {post1}

Hello, friends:}

**After 6amEST--please click HERE or scroll up/down for my Reverse Confetti sneak peek post!
Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can also read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

I created some easy tag toppers for some gift card holders...I just LOOOOOOOVE these WG Bitty Bags!! I also have some tips to share:)
This first tag topper was inspired by my mom! She loves the color yellow-- so I wanted to use everything yellow for her gift. I paired the yellow polka dot bitty bag with the WG yellow tag, along with the solid yellow divine twine- PERFECT:)
I used a sentiment stamp from the Paper Smooches Pretty Momma set as well.

The second tag was created using the same bitty bag and tag with some random American Crafts die cuts. This is going to my friend, Daria! She lives in NY and the weather hasn't been as sunny as it is here. So I'm sending her a bit of sunshine:)
These toppers are easy to make and help when pulling out the tag from the bag.
Just create your topper adding it to the tag by stapling in the center of the image/topper. **Don't glue it down because you want the bottom to be free to fit over the bitty bag opening.
And a quick tip for making bows behind buttons/etc--- all I do is wrap the divine twine around my fingers a couple of times and then staple it in place:) Easy! No bow to make!
That's it for me today! And be sure to stop by the Whisker Graphics blog for more inspiration. And stop by their shop too!! I def. need to go shopping--- I need MORE bitty bags:) LOL!

Also-- did you know about Whisker Graphics's new products??? Check it out HERE! New bitty bags, colors of divine twine, and more!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}
