Paper Smooches SPARKS: July Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

The first thing that caught my eye was that wood branch and the birds... so I instantly thought I could use these elements for a baby shower card! Makes sense right... baby bird with a branch?!?! You'll see--- it works;)

I used some of my FAVORITE Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko inks for the sentiment--- LOVE it on the patterned paper (We R Memory Keepers Little One)!!! LOVE it! Then I added a couple of elements using the PS The Welcome Wagon and Gently Seasoned Two stamp sets and the tree/"branch" from the PS Seasonal Tree dies. Add washi tape and some stitching... and it was DONE! LOVE

This is perfect for my friend's baby shower--- and to be honest, I made this card EXTRA pretty and sweet because they are going to name their daughter SAVANNAH! LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE x10000000000!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs, get inspired, and leave them some love.

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details!!!! This challenge ends July 18th. I cannot wait to see what you make!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Hello, friends:}

**Please come back around 11am EST for some SUPER EXCITING news!!!!!! Or click HERE after 11am!

Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! This month's theme/challenge--- Washi Tape

I am combining challenges (GASP!!)!! I figured this is an easy challenge and so is the Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes! PERFECT:)

You might be wondering where the washi tape is located on my card.... I used the We R Memory Keepers Washi Adhesive sheets for my "paper". I attached the washi tape to regular cardstock and cut my panels/etc. LOOOOOOVE! I also used some Recollections metallic orchid paper- beautiful! I die cut one of the PS Bookmarks and then trimmed it to a specific size that I like. I added some silver thread, and then added the die cut word (PS Birthday Words) at the bottom of my paper panels. I finished the card with a special sentiment from the Paper Smooches Happy Birthday stamp set and sequins from Pretty Pink Posh! LOOOOOVE how this turned out! **This card is for my Grandma- she is super special to me:) I think she will love it!
**Sorry the photos are not that great! I really need Trav to order me a NEW camera;) And I need photography lessons! LOL!

I love the colors and the gold embossing powder-- if you have not found a great gold embossing powder....it's a MUST to get this Imagine Crafts gold embossing powder!! I'm in LOOOOOOOVE! I also love the design-- super easy to create this card because I used oversized journaling cards by We R Memory Keepers (Simply Happy)! LOVE
You can't really see the gold embossing powder in this photo.

I used several stamp sets for this card-- you wouldn't think so since this card is so CAS! I used the Paper Smooches Spring Groves (bird), Woofers & Tweeters (sentiment), Birthday Sampler (sentiment), and the Streamers (banner) stamp sets. I also used the Streamers coordinating die for the two banners. I loooooooove this card!

Ribbon Carousel #85 Back to School

Hello, friends:}
Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! The prize::: a ribbon carousel!!!!!! This month's theme/challenge--- Back to School

Here in Florida the kids go back to school around the second week of August. Some schools go "year round". I always enjoyed getting the classroom set up for the year- running copies of my favorite curriculum books and workbooks... setting up the desks....making decorations and more! I had the best students! I even had several come back each year to help me set up the classroom with me (SOOOOOOOO awesome!)!!!

I went kind of CAS- I just thought these papers {We R Memory Keepers Hall Pass} didn't need much help! I added some sentiments from the Paper Smooches Chart Toppers set and some dark brown ribbon. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I think this card might be perfect for our friend, Daria. Hope she likes it!
That's it for me today--but make sure you stop by the RCC blog for more details for this challenge and DT inspiration!!! And click HERE to link up your creation!
