Reverse Confetti: May Color Challenge VIDEO (post1)

Hello, friends:}

***After 9am EST- Please click HERE for my Chickaniddy Crafts video and post.

I'm sharing a video today using some Reverse Confetti stamps and dies!

This card was inspired by the RC May Color Challenge {orange, light and dark pink}.

I've created a SUPER CAS card for this challenge! Why so CAS? Well.... when you have matching papers that work together with RC stamps.... why not!?!? :)

I used some of the NEW Chickaniddy Twirly Girly papers and embellishments for my creation. I used some sentiments from the RC Sweet Thing set. LOVE! SOOOO easy and super duper cute-- esp that donut! LOL!

Here's the video! Hope you enjoy:}
I share a couple of tips in my video including:

  • Sometimes I cut my stickers out so I can move them around on my card base- just don't remove the backing until you attach it to your card! LOL!
  • Customize your embellishments by adding glitter.
  • When stamping on a layered piece, press your stamp firmly and rock just a bit so you don't have a break in the image (where the two layers are).

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE

VIDEO: Reverse Confetti April Color challenge

Hello, friends:}

I'm sharing a video today using some NEW Reverse Confetti stamps and dies!

This card was inspired by the RC April Color Challenge {light blue, green, plum}.

I have to say that this card really took me out of my comfort zone! Get ready for this.....I colored with Copics! OH MY!
Look at that coloring on the bunny--- WOWZA! I knock my socks off;) Just kidding! I need LOTS of practice with coloring! This is just "outlining"! LOL!

My friend Trisha stopped by yesterday and we practiced coloring the little bunny from the RC Bebe Bunny set. I felt pretty good after Trisha left... but then during my video.... I had to text her twice to show her how I was doing! LOL!

Here's the video! Hope you enjoy:}
I used some Imagine Crafts gold embossing powder for the sentiment (RC All About You stamp set). I also used some sequins that I got from Pretty Pink Posh. Add in a RC Love Note die cut heart and Double Edge Scallop Border.... and that's my card:)
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration and to join in the FUN with the April Color challenge! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE

Sequins and pompom ribbon from Pretty Pink Posh
The technique I share in this video is how to create a stencil using RC dies. I love this idea-- I've actually been thinking about doing this for about four months! LOL! LOVE! I also created my very FIRST embossing paste design for this card!!! I love this embossing paste!

Reverse Confetti February Color challenge (video)

Hello, friends:}

I've got a fun little video to share with you today! I used the RC February color challenge as my inspiration.
When I looked at  this color story, I actually was nervous! I wasn't sure what I was going to create! But the longer I looked at it and went through my RC stamps, I knew I had to make a nautical + masculine + CAS card! It just fit! :) **I state in my video... this project actually started as a scrapbook page! LOL!

For my card, I pulled out some old Echo Park and American Crafts papers and then I used my Tsukineko Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle ink for the dark gray. I added a bit of red using some Whisker Graphics Red divine twine. The stamp sets I used includes the Reverse Confetti Happy Harbor (one of my FAV sets) and Count Your Rainbows. I looooooove how this turned out! ***NOTE: There were lots of problems when recording this video- it always happens when I'm recording! LOL! This card looks easy but the video proves that I was having problems! LOL! I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOVE that stamped anchor on that vellum circle! LOVE LOVE LOVE
I used red metallic paper for the sentiment- it's hard to see in this photo.
Here's the video! Hope you enjoy, and I hope you will create some easy "bag wraps" for your next treat:}

Reverse Confetti: Video and CAS card {post2}

Hello, friends:}

***Please click HERE for my Virtual Smooches video and post.

I'm sharing a video today using some NEW Reverse Confetti stamps and dies!

This card was inspired by the RC January Color Challenge {orange, yellow, aqua}.

This is a VERY simple card-- however, creating this video was not as EASY! LOL! I had some more technical difficulties! I have my fingers crossed that my "technical difficulties" will end TODAY! :)
So I stepped out of my comfort zone and created a CAS + Masculine Valentine's Day card using this color combo! I used the new RC Love Notes die along with the RC Crushin'Whole Lotta Hearts, and Lots to Say stamp sets. That's a lot of stamps for a CAS card! LOL!
I share (quickly) some techniques that I love- cutting my stamps apart and coloring vellum using inks.

Here's the video! Hope you enjoy:}
