For my first card, I created a super cute Thank You note using the submarine and sentiment from the Here We Go set. I used the coordinating Confetti Cuts for this set but also paper pieced the submarine to make it pop even more:)
I used some Fancy Pants Designs Trendsetter papers along with the Imagine Crafts silver embossing power. I added a couple of stars die cut (using the RC Oh My Stars) using coordinating paper and Chickaniddy Crafts Silver Surfer paper. LOOOOOVE how this turned out!
For my second card, I created a very CAS card! I also used a watercoloring technique with my Tsukineko Radiant Neon Electric Coral/Yellow/Pink inks! I thought these colors would make this popsicle from the RC Let's Chill set pop! LOOOOOOVEI finished this card off by embossing the sentiment in IC gold embossing power. LOOOOOOVE! So simple-- which is not my style! But it is so cute! LOVE

To finish my card, I stitched around the edges and added some May Arts Ribbon twine! LOVE x10000000!

Paper Smooches SPARKS July Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The fourth week of the month is always a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

I was thinking of doing a sunset design with inks and a black silhouette... but then I was inspired by a combo of neon and vellum. I decided to use the "sun" as my inspiration for the background with the "silhouette" being the sentiment. I love how this card turned out-- I have to admit that it took two tries because I messed up the sentiment on the vellum the first time. I'll have to see if I can use it for another creation later!

This card is super simple and uses just a few items: neon papers, vellum, and the Paper Smooches Thanks Word, Power Rays, and Hot Spots SM1 dies, along with the PS Eco Friendly stamp set.
Not sure if you can see it but the rays come off the card on the right side-- love that design effect with vellum!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends July 28th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I actually can't wait to see what you are inspired by in this photo!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
