Ribbon Carousel and Paper Smooches SPARKS challenges (Anything Goes)

Hello, friends:}

Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! The prize::: a ribbon carousel!!!!!! This month's theme/challenge--- ANYTHING GOES! 

This is a super EASY challenge! If you use ribbon on your creation (twine, ribbon, thread, etc!), you can enter it in this challenge:) LOVE it! 

So... this time of year I'm super busy... and I have an idea for this challenge but was unable to finish it before the deadline (and before I fell asleep!).... soooooooooooo..... I've created the EASIEST card for today. **NOTE: I will share another project that's perfect for this time of year and for the RCC challenge SOON!

My card is actually perfect for me right now. I need to "let it go". God has asked me to let go.... and I thought I had... however, I'm clinging to "it" just as much as I was before! LOL! I tend to have "white knuckles".... but I need to take this advice and "let it go" and follow Him. **NOTE: I wanted the card to say, "Let it go & let God." but I wasn't sure that was how the saying went! 

I used basic teal cardstock with red vellum. I used the Paper Smooches Alphadot and Hullabaloo stamp sets. I added a small black floss for the string. EASY! Now if only following this advice was easy!!!! LOL! This card is also perfect for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes challenge! I LOOOOOOOVE Anything Goes-- it makes it so easy to enter:) 

I'm not a huge fan of CAS creations (mainly because I love to add more and more and more)...

 but this card says it all! LOVE it!

My carousel is fully functional in this shelf- it swivels and displays my twine perfectly! LOVE it! 

I store my Whisker Graphics divine twine on my carousel! I use washi tape to keep the spools neat and organized!

Ribbon Carousel #87 and Reverse Confetti

Savannah Fact: I LOOOOOOOOOOVE Thanksgiving. I love it because there is so much that I'm thankful for. I should be celebrating Thanksgiving EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE it!!!

So of course for this challenge, I wanted to create a Thanksgiving card. I used some old Authentique Thankful papers along with my Reverse Confetti Forever Fall and Tag Me dies for this card. I LOOOOOOOOVE how I created that sentiment and layered the banner die cuts! ***NOTE: I actually cut the cream banner so that it was longer! To finish my card, I stitched around the edges and added some May Arts Ribbon twine! LOVE x10000000!

Ribbon Carousel #70

Hello, friends:)

Today we start another challenge over at the Ribbon Carousel! This week  Andrea has challenged us to make a sympathy card.  

I have to admit that I HATE making sympathy cards. They made me sad-- I'm sad because someone is gone and the family is grieving:( But I know that sympathy cards mean so much to the family, as well as lift their spirits and it lets them know that they are being held in precious prayer and thoughts.

That being said....I created a very soft sympathy card for this challenge. The papers are My Mind's Eye {Lavender}. I also used my Good Gab and FOLKal Point stamp sets by Paper Smooches. I used some of my NEW vintage seam binding from the RC {Posie and Muscade Beige}. This card has lots of product from the RC store!! LOVE it:) 

**NOTE:: I apologize for this horrible pic! This card is so pretty in real life!!! I will retake it once the sun comes out!!! :(  This is the old pic--now for the new ones:)

• Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC70) with a direct link back to The RCC blog post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!
• Come back to The RCC blog post and link in your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up but don't worry it will appear shortly.
• Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D

RCC66 Summer

There's a new weekly challenge that starts today over on the Ribbon Carousel blog!!! This week Jenny Peterson challenges us to make a summer themed card/creation. Also--we have a new crew member, please welcome Amber Hight to the group!  

I know this card looks familiar to my PS SPARKS challenge card HERE. I have to say that my Ribbon Carousel card was the inspiration!! I made this card/sketch first:) 

Everything on my card (except for the stamps) can be found in the Ribbon Carousel store!!! I used Bazzill cardstock {available HERE from the RC} with my FAVORITE chevron ribbon {available HERE from the RC}. I used several Paper Smooches stamps for the sentiment and heart {Eco Friendly, Swanky Snowdudes, Squeaky Clean}. Pretty simple! And it's perfect for this week--it's finally summer here in FL!!! LOOOOOOOOVE this card:) 

Where's the ribbon? I used the chevron twill ribbon as part of the sun rays! LOVE:)
