Paper Smooches challenge- March #2

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing another project for the Paper Smooches March challenge--- this month we are all about the GREEEEEEEEEEEN! It's my favorite color and Pantone's color of the year:)

This is going to be a fun challenge because the rules are simple: use green on your project {anywhere... any hue of green... any amount...etc}. EASY! 

I needed to create another birthday card (March is filled with birthdays in our family) and I thought this would be a great way to create a card for the challenge! I went with some older Basic Grey papers (Fresh Cut 6x6). Now that it's uploaded to the blogs... I'm not sure that it looks green, but I promise it is! LOL! I added some green watercoloring/ink to the cardbase using Neocolor II Crayons {Lime Green, Light Olive, and Yellow Green- see!??! I told you that there was green on my card! And I used green sequins! LOL!}! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Digits, Birthday Bash, Group Hugs, Butterfly Duet, and Celebrate Word.

Paper Smooches challenge- March #1

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing my first project for the Paper Smooches March challenge--- this month we are all about the GREEEEEEEEEEEN! It's my favorite color and Pantone's color of the year:)

This is going to be a fun challenge because the rules are simple: use green on your project {anywhere... any hue of green... any amount...etc}. EASY! 

I went with a medium amount of green on my card by using a Whisker Graphics tag and some light green polka dot washi tape. **NOTE: that washi tape looks yellow in the photo but in person it's green! I used the following PS stamps/dies: Digits, Happy Birthday, and Stars dies. I pulled out my Basic Grey Hey You papers to match the masculine theme {I haven't forgotten about my own challenge- using up my stash! LOL!}. This is a card for Trav's birthday (March 9th)... he will be... can't tell! His age is hidden on the green card by stamping the numbers with VersaMark ink🤣

Paper Smooches: February 2017 RECAP

Hello friends:) 

Today I'm sharing the Paper Smooches February 2017 release projects that I made!

Here's what I created using the new stamps and dies, including the PS Party Balloon, Let's Celebrate (stamps and Icon dies), and Celebrate. 

Blog hop card

This is supposed to be a unicorn balloon- Trav said it looked like a pig! OH MY! 

This is my FAVVVVVVVVVVVVVVORITE card:) Love that llama and that cactus balloon! 

I enjoy creating projects for Kim and Paper Smooches! I still can't believe I was able to meet Kim and craft with her last month while attending CHA in Phoenix! It was soooooo much fun!

For today's sneak peek I've created a a fun little birthday card using the NEW Bear Frog Card dies dies. This die is great for making a bear or frog shaped card... but you can also use it to make a gift card holder! 

I will also be creating a video to share how to make the next card, which is an interactive card. It's a LIZARD!!!!!!!!! Well it started out as a frog- I wanted to make a frog that was orange... but it ended up looking more like a lizard 😊 This is just a sneak... so be sure to stop back by for the full tutorial and video!

I've been using my PS stamps and dies to create different bible journaling pages but never completed a process video. That's what I'm sharing today! I also share a couple of photos that we took while visiting Israel and an olive press machine. Paper Smooches challenge- February #4

Today I'm sharing my 4th project for the Paper Smooches "LOVE" challenge for the month of February. Making a card about love or with hearts... SUPER EASY!

I was inspired by a mug cozy by Starbucks- I think! I'm not sure what it is called or if was Starbucks😜 This is a mini card measuring 3 x 3.25 inches! That was a challenge for me since I like bigger sized projects but smaller than a 12x12 page! LOL! 

I used some Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm papers along with these PS stamps/dies: Hearts, Cyber Cafe, and Winter Sampler dies.

Paper Smooches challenge- February #3

Today I'm sharing my 3rd project for the Paper Smooches "LOVE" challenge for the month of February.

I saw the PS Smooches stamps and dies and had to create a fun card that would be perfect for just about anyone! The papers are from the Project Life Becky Higgins Coral edition- I like to use the journaling cards as the background and then add other elements die cut from the smaller journaling cards to complete my project. That way everything matches😊 I was inspired by THIS layout. Other PS supplies include: Hearts, Tiny Hearts, Love & Cherish, and Foliage 3 dies.
