Hello, friends:}
I have ANOTHER baby shower to head to today:) I have about five more friends having babies--all BOYS!
I created a tag blanket, eco-tissues, tee pees and a prayer journal for my gift. I love this little elephant image from the new Paper Smooches set A Little Lovin'. SOOOOOOO cute! It was perfect for this journal!! I also used the new Alphadots set for the sentiment. LOVE it! So simple and modern!
My card was also very modern. I love the simple lines and panels. Again I used the Paper Smooches A Little Lovin' set.
Here they are together....
I placed all these items in a white box and added some super cute baby sock cupcakes on the top. LOOOOOOOOVE those little cupcakes!
That's it for me today. I'll be back later with some SUPER exciting news!!! I have two giveaways coming!!! Don't forget to follow (once I hit 300 followers, I'm having a giveaway!) and then all next week I will be collecting comments.....it's a SPECIAL week for me:)
THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

PDCC #92
Hello, friends:}
Hoooooray for another fun day over at the Play Date Cafe! We are starting another color story today--Coral, Petal Pink, Antique Gold--I instantly thought of little girls!
I only thought of little girls because I had to make some fun gifts for a baby shower that I was headed to earlier this month. My friends, Darcy & Mark, are having a baby girl!! Soooo fun! So I went shopping and got some beautiful gold cupcake liners and pink socks. I made these fun baby sock cupcakes with coral flowers and a butterfly (which was highlighted with gold powdered pigment). SOOOO cute! Love these little cupcakes!
Here's a top view--not the greatest pic.
I also made a prayer journal. I love giving prayer journals as gifts--if you want the PDF of this project, please send me an email:)
I didn't stop there--I needed a card! So I used plain coral, light pink, and the most gorgeous gold paper ever (you might not be able to see it but the gold paper is the bottom layer/card base). LOVE it! It's sheer and shimmery--so lush and super gold!
OH--I wish you could see that gold paper--it is just so LUSH! LOVE it!
And then I bought some wrapping paper to match the entire set! Inside the box, I put some other homemade gifts [i.e. eco-tissues, a boo boo bunny, and a tag blanket]. LOVE LOVE LOVE this entire color story!
Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

RCC13 A Stitch in Time with Debbie Carriere
Hello, friends:}
If you have not been to The Ribbon Carousel Challenge--head over there NOW!! We are starting a brand new challenge today!
It’s time to stitch up your creations for this week’s Ribbon Carousel Challenge (RCC13). Debbie Carriere would like us to try some kind of stitching; either with our sewing machine, hand stitching, faux stitching, piercing, stamped stitches….whatever works for you! Remember your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings, anything will work!
*** Please remember that your creation must have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***
For my creation, I used a sketch/design by Nicole Magourik. I loved her LO and how there was stitching on all the patterned papers--JUST LOVED everything about it! So I CASED it. LOVE! I used my Unity Sew. Sew. Sew. sewing machine--it's newly released! I also used my Unity Stuck On You set for the sentiment--I masked it to make it fill that panel. The hearts are from my Paper Smooches FOLKal Points. LOVE how this turned out!
That blue thread is actually Divine Twine {available HERE at The Ribbon Carousel}. I separated the twine so that I just had the blue piece.
The RCC team would love for you to join in the fun this week! Here are the details:
- Make your creation following the ribbon carousel challenge (sketch, inspiration, style or color) image. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
- Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC13) with a direct link back to The RCC blog post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!
- Come back to The RCC blog post and link in your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up but don't worry it will appear shortly.
- Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D
This Challenge will end on August 1, 2011 at 11:59pm EST.
I really hope you will play along! Please stop by the RCC blog for more details, more projects from the RCC DT, and to link up your creation! Also, please head over to The Ribbon Carousel website and check out their products--I just got my order and WOWZA! LOVE all this ribbon:}
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Another flashback...
Hello, friends:}
I am playing along with Flashback Fridays. I just love that I am going back in my old pics of creations and finding things that match their challenges! I love how my style has developed--and sometimes I'm embarrassed to share what I've made! LOL!
This time around we are posting our first shaped cards. I have to be honest--I didn't think that I would have in my photos/pile because just recently I started making shaped cards...but I found SEVERAL! Can you believe it??? This is my first one that I posted back in Feb. 2010. I made it using some Ippity stamps. I just love it--and I remember who I sent it to! LOVE:) If you want to read the original post--click HERE.
Don't forget to scroll down HERE to see my photo frame I made using my new Ippity stamps. And be sure to stop back by this week and next!! I've got a giveaway coming up next week--and a giveaway when I hit 300 followers!

Ippity time:)
Hello, friends:}
I finally found some time to play with my Ippity stamps! I am linking this creation up to the Ippity challenge {paper piecing--which by the way, is my favorite thing to do when stamping, and I found it super hard to find images in my Ippity collection to paper piece! OY!}.
I created a picture wall hanging--out of an embroidery hoop, some surged fabrics [thanks, Jeremy!!!], and leather string. I love the colors and fabrics that I used. I also love that glittered "d" at the top--so subtle but glamorous! I used my Ippity Sing A New Song [paper piecing that bird], Here & Now [sentiment], and my newest set The Best [banner]. I also used my Unity Small Things Matter Most set [sentiment]. I made this wall hanging for my friend, Daria! She is leaving tomorrow to go to Nyack. She said that she didn't have any decorations for her new home, so I made her something to keep pics of us on--of course, she can change our pics or put family photos up too!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by JenMarie's website to order up some Ippity--she is FABULOUS!
Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}
ps...next week I'm having a giveaway! And I think I will do another giveaway once I hit 300+ followers. So spread the word and leave some love!

new Scrapbook page
Hello, friends:}
There's a couple of things that you might not know about me-- 1. I don't really celebrate my birthday; I know I've mentioned this before...but it just isn't something that special to me. 2. I don't like to craft things that are out of my comfort zone (i.e. scrapbook pages, 3D items, etc.).
That being said....I broke those two Sav-isms the other day! I scrapped a page and it was about my birthday! I'm getting better at celebrating me--it's only been a year that I started celebrating my birthday and this year will be the big 30. I made this page for The Studio challenge {chipboard}. I used my Pebbles Happy Go Lucky papers along with their chipboard flower, birdie, flags, and brad. LOVE how this turned out--I know I haven't hit 30 yet...but this is a page about turning 30! LOL! And that pic--silly, but I like it!
That's it for me today! BUT WAIT--there's more!
Ok--now I'm done:) Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
