PDCC #141

Hello, friends:}

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors-- Mint, Soft Yellow, Coral, Tulip. Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs
I have to admit that I wasn't sure about this color story--pastels! They get me every time! LOL! But now I need to admit that I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOVE my card! I created a baby card using my DRS Designs giraffe stamp along with some My Mind's Eye Nostalgia papers {available HERE at the RC}. I also added some burlap twine {also available at the RC}. If you look closely, I used the natural burlap twine to make the giraffe's mane. SOOOOO cute! The letter M is an alpha from Basic Grey that I colored with my Copics. **This card is for a friend who just found out they are expecting a baby! So I used their last initial M as an embellie. LOVE:)
The larger gem is actually a light green color--but this photo makes it look really dark.
And now the gem brad looks silver! LOL!

That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is DRS Designs. Be sure to link up your creations by Tuesday, July 24th at 11:59pm EST.

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Hello, friends:}

**Please click HERE or scroll up for my Avocado Arts  challenge post!
We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors are on the neon/masculine side--teal, electric green, tangerine, and jean. Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs
This is a super simple  card-- I just used some light gray paper as my background, color blocked an orange and dark blue paper near the bottom, added some ribbon {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel}, and finished with my image/sentiment. The image is the Singing Frog from DRS Designs. LOVE him! I added some orange glitter to help his little spots pop! The sentiment is an SVG file that I created. Simple! I LOVE simple:)
My dark blue (jean) doesn't look jean in this pic...but in person, it's MUCH darker!

PDCC #110

Hello, friends:)

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors are fun--lime green, royal blue, crystal blue, red. Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs

The PDCC DT was super lucky to receive some DRS Designs stamps to play with--I received this fun circle image with Christmas sentiment. I knew that I wanted to paper piece that cute little moose with a blue sweater and blue scarf! I used some beautiful ribbon {available HERE from The Ribbon Carousel} and the papers are from My Little Shoebox. LOVE how this turned out!!! **I tried to be like Andrea and use some liquid pearls or enamel accents as dots...they are not even, but I love how it turned out:) I'm also entering this in the Paper Issues Holiday Madness challenge:)

PDCC #98

Hello, friends:}

Hoooooray for another fun day over at the Play Date Cafe! Today starts a brand new color story. And we have a new sponsor--DRS Designs!!
The PDCC DT was super lucky to receive some DRS Designs stamps to play with--I picked this super cute giraffe with a sentiment. I LOOOOOOOVE how I could make this card for a boy or a girl--obviously this color scheme is more boyish! It's perfect! That giraffe could have pink spots and a purple body--LOVE! I really like these colors together--very rich. My card ended up more vintage and bold at the same time! I still love it though:)
Here is the inside--that sentiment is perfect for this card! LOVE:) I tried to stamp the image on the inside--I wanted to stamp the giraffe in teal...but chickened out. I also hardly ever stamp on the inside of my card---I'm stepping out of my comfort zone! The sentiment is also from DRS Designs. Also--I normally don't like the stitching to show on the inside of my cards...however, I love how it shows this is handmade! I like it;)
That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is DRS Designs. And don't forget to stop by all the other PDCC DT members' blogs-- AMAZING!!!

And speaking of our DT--today is the last day for two of my good friends: Tracey and Libby! I'm so sad to see them go--it's been a great term (or more) with them! I have really enjoyed the friendship that has grown through the PDCC! I am so glad that we have gotten to know each other. Both Libby and Tracey would share in my excitement and send me encouraging notes/emails. I'm so blessed to have them in my life! Good luck in your new adventures ladies!!! You are super amazing!!! I'll see you around in blogland;) BLESSINGS!

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}
