Whisker Graphics goodie bag post1

I'm sooooooo excited to share with you my very first Whisker Graphics creation! You can read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE {it was featured on 2.7.12}.


I've been thinking about what to share as my first WG project for a week! I was browsing through my Inspiration File and FOUND something from two years ago! I know that decorating spools is really in right now, but I wanted to take it a bit farther!

I wanted to decorate my wooden spools with a fun note or message. So I tied some Whisker Graphics Divine Twine to a small message (that I stamped using some Paper Smooches and Avocado Arts images). Then I tied this around the spool. SUPER easy! I also decorated some of the WG notebook bitty bags (these are my FAV bags EVER!!!).

This project also fits the Simon Says Stamp challenge-Love is in the Air. This Peppermint twine was perfect for this Valentine's Day message:)

The Airmail twine really fit with this AA stamp set--and to finish off this bitty bag, I used some WG Love Mail stickers. PERFECT!

Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge {2.9-2.22} post3

Today we start another photo inspired challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog. Check out this super-duper lovey-dovey inspiration photo! LOVE it! 

Now that I'm looking at it in LARGE format--I could have used burlap or peach and brown as my inspiration...drats! Now I need to make another card:) I do love the cards that I made though--I was inspired by LOVE! I used several Paper Smooches stamp sets: Good Gab, Yummers, Smoocheroos, Helping Hands, and Falling for You. I also used some seam binding from The Ribbon Carousel {here}. And those papers are from Pebbles. LOVE LOVE LOVE it so much -- I made 3! And matching envelopes! LOL! These cards also fits the Simon Says Stamp challenge-Love is in the Air.

And because I wanted the hand to be stylish--I added pink nail polish (pink sharpie with glossy accents)!!!

We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors bold--Golden Yellow, Pacific, Cobalt. Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp.  

This week I went straight to my patterned paper and pulled out some papers with two blues and yellow combos. I ended up with October Afternoon and went to work. Then I took some pics and uploaded this card to the gallery--and WHAT???? I went with yellow and blue but not the BOLDER colors! OY! I still love my card:) I love that cork piece at the top! My card was simple again with few supplies- ribbon from the RCC, sentiment from MFT, and papers from OA. The typewriter was a rub-on from Michael's. EASY! On the softer side of the color story--but EASY:)

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps NEW release post1

It's a great day in blogland!!! I have three post today, and my first post is for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! You are going to love this NEW release image of Leprechaun Oliver! 

Of course--I paper pieced Oliver! TOOOOOO cute! I just love how he turned out (however, I just noticed that I forgot to color in his cheeks!). I used some older My Mind's Eye  papers---I wanted that background to look like a rainbow without using traditional colors. LOVE! I also used some glitter for Oliver's belt and hat sash. LOVE x2!  I also added some alphas for a fun sentiment and that leaf was hand-drawn to mimic the one on the SCRS sentiment. The twine is from The Ribbon Carousel {HERE}. LOVE x3!!!! 

 I will upload better pics in the morning--I cannnnnnot get my camera to take good pics! SOOOO sad:(

Now on to my card and our challenge--- Now, with all of this going on, we thought we better make this week’s challenge an easy one! The RCC challenge is simple for this week. Anything Goes!! I used some of my Imaginisce papers that I won a couple of months ago for my card. I also used the MSS Gone Campin' stamp set. The sentiment is computer generated. I just love how this card turned out--masculine but soft (with that green). The ribbon is striped grosgrain {available HERE from The Ribbon Carousel}. LOOOOOOOVE! These cards also fits the Simon Says Stamp challenge-Love is in the Air.
