Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes wk3 challenge

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is another ANYTHING GOES challenge. EASIEST challenge EVER!

I'm sharing a reject card today. I know why it wasn't a winner... it's the hands and shoes.... but I still love the idea! I've thought that maybe I could CASE this and redo it to make it better!?! LOL! I'll keep you posted:)

I used some of my old Doodlebug Christmas papers for this card. I love how that background paper looks like it's snowing for real! LOL! I wanted to design a person carrying an oversized shopping bag full of goodies. So I paired the shoes from the Paper Smooches Retail Therapy set with the gloves in the Warm Hearts set. Then I added a shopping bag (created using the PS Shopping Bag die!! LOVE!) and stamped my custom sentiment using the Market Fresh, Christmas Sampler, and Merry Motifs stamp sets. LOOOVE x10000000 :) This is def. perfect for someone who is very hard to buy for! LOL! 

I created the reverse image of the shoe by using the PS Dude block!

Virtual Smooches: Christmas Mini-Series (part2)

Today I share another Christmas idea for my Christmas Mini-Series!!! I bought a We R Memory Keepers Gift Box punch board.... and for my video I created custom designed gift boxes! LOVE! 

These gift boxes are perfect for just about any holiday/occasion by using any Paper Smooches stamps... for just about anyone... and in lots of different sizes! LOOOOOVE x1000000!

My card for today is VERY CAS-- and that's so not me! But I love how quickly this card came together!! I might have to mass produce this card to send out to family/friends:) I used some old My Little Shoebox papers along with some NEW Whisker Graphics Silver metallic divine twine. The sentiment is from RC's Bring on the Merry stamp set, and I fussy cut the "Merry" out of silver metallic paper. PERFECT! I absolutely looooove that little red nose on the reindeer!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Dec. Picture Perfect challenge {post1}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! This week is a Picture Perfect challenge.

I love the ornaments hanging in this photo, so I used that as my inspiration. And my card is EXTRA special because it is part of the CARDS December magazine!! I was asked last year to be the CARDS December Featured Designer. Of course I said YES! This has been the longest SECRET I've ever held (almost 365 days!!!). Here's a pic of my card in the magazine-- ACK! LOOOOOOVE it! 

So for my card, I created a star ornament that hangs on the moose! Hoooooooooow cute is this card!?!? LOVE it! I used some Crate Papers along with the Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals, Spring Fling, and Joyful Greetings stamp sets. I also used the PS Hot Spots SM Set1 for the little star ornament. LOVE LOVE LOVE this card!

Reverse Confetti: Thanksgiving Card (a bit late)

Hello, friends:}

I knew I had created another card for Thanksgiving.... but totally forgot about it until NOW! LOL! I am featuring some  Reverse Confetti stamps and dies. 


This is a VERY simple card-- I needed a thank you card for a friend of ours, and he is very kind/simple... this card is PERFECT for him! 

I used the new RC Tag Me die along with the RC Forever Fall stamp set. I paired that sentiment up with some silverware rub-ons and the Basic Grey Persimmon papers. I finished the card off with some May Arts Ribbon burlap twine. 

See? I had Thanksgiving on my brain for this card--- and totally forgot to post it! LOL! 

Now I know this card is simple... but there is detail in that banner! I actually extended the RC Tag Me banner die by using an embossing mat (and following THIS video).

EXTRA video- Whisker Graphics & Paper Smooches

Today ISN'T my day to share a video over on the  Paper Smooches video blog- Virtual Smooches-- but I'm going to share ANOTHER extra creation ANYWAY:) HOOOOORAY! 

Today is actually my day for the Whisker Graphics blog! I created a video using some WG bitty bags (of course), NEW metallic divine twine, petite stickers, and PS stamps. 

How do all of these items come together for a video??? You'll have to check it out to see:) ***NOTE: I can tell you that my project is SUPER simple! It's the perfect gift for a large group (students, teachers, favors for a party, etc).

Reverse Confetti: SFYTT#7 {post3}

Like always- I kind of changed this sketch! I really really REALLY need to learn to follow sketches 100%!!!! I changed the circles to chevrons... and the kraft rectangle is more abstract on my card.... but what's important is that I LOOOOOOVE my card!

I used some of my FAV Becky Higgins Project Life Midnight Edition papers for the card base. LOOOOVE! And I paired some My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing papers, stickers, and journaling card together with some Studio Calico chevron stickers for the elements of this card. I LOOOOOOOVE how that word sticker sheet has been cut to create that larger rectangle from the sketch! LOVE LOVE LOVE:) 

My fav part is that sentiment; like always, I masked several stamp sets to create my own CUSTOM sentiment! I used the Reverse Confetti Arrows 'n Elements, Forever Fall, and Celebrate Cake to create this custom sentiment! I love the double lines beneath YOU-- that was a masked stamp from Forever Fall! I also used the NEW Reverse Confetti Tag Me dies for that banner. I looooooooove this card:)

Paper Smooches SPARKS Dec. Anything Goes challenge {post2}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! Starting with this NEW term, we are changing up the challenges a bit! We've thrown in a couple of extra Anything Goes challenge-- and it starts this week:)   

That's right--you get to create ANYTHING you want (as long as you use Paper Smooches stamps)!! This is the BEST challenge ever!!! 

I unfortunately needed a sympathy card for yesterday and used this for my PSS Anything Goes creation. I actually created a video for this card and will share it on the Virtual Smooches blog on Monday! 

The papers are from the Crate Paper On Trend collection. I used a technique that I shared in THIS video to extend and make the Paper Smooches Flag Tags die a bit larger. I also used the PS Butterflies2 dies and the Sentiment Sampler stamp set for this card. It might be a bit simple, but it was PERFECT for my dear friend Joy and her family during this difficult time.
